Help! Kitchen Sink

My sink is clogged. I tried the DIY method, (baking soda, hot water, detergent, magic solution). It works a while then it clog again.

I checked the underneath and found the setup as in the picture, which is different from what i google😅. I was trying to make the water flow by moving the yellow tube..and accidentally pull it. So, the water flows...but when i attach it back, the problem remain. Now, it takes forever to drain it.

So, the issue should be on the blue highlighted..but how do i fix that? Anyone, please share some advices..

Damaged wall after removing adhesive foam

I made a mistake and the price is as in the picture. The left side is a wood wall, so only the glue remain, but the right side is a wall, so the wall got tear off.

Now, my next move will be how to fix the wall. Do i remove all the debris, sand and paint it? Never done this so will be thankful if anyone could share some advice/tips to do it.

Imported goods..overpaid tax & import duty?

I bought 3 items from Japan and the total cost are about 2400 included shipping fee.
So, went to the pos malaysia international hub and did the custom clearance and got the parcel.
When i am back home, open the parcel, there is only 1 item (cost about 900) and the other 2 items (400 each) are actually on the way delivery by Postman.

So, custom only held 1 of my item for custom clearance and i paid the fee based on 3 items, because my billing included all 3 items in 1 receipt.
I didn't notice seller actually post 3 parcel separately, instead of packing all 3 in 1 parcel.

Now, my issue is, i paid the tax and import duty fee based on 3 items, but since i only get 1 parcel held by custom, i understand that only 1 items should be charged tax but not the other 2.
In another word, did i just overpaid?

This is the first time i buy items abroad so i might miss some info, appreciate you guys to help sharing some info, thanks!!

Condo Window...Noise Pollution

This Condo is facing highway and soon will have a new MRT to start operating next year.
In the morning, there are sounds of ambulance, police siren...and view of traffic to enjoy.
While at night and midnight, the sound of motor and sports car speeding make your life a nightmare.

So, i am looking solution to solve this problem. The problem seem to lies at the window edge where there are gap at the frame.
I know we can get the window rubber seal and just seal it ourselves, but i have bought the cheap one and is not working....

Thus, Anyone know where can i get the service to fix this problem?

MURPHY (wall) bed to save space

I have limited space in my room and the queen size bed occupied most of the space. I cant find a good way to get rid of the bed yet, so thinking i should get a murphy bed.

But, online murphy bed is so expensive thousandsss and looks like not common here..., so maybe DIY will do. Has anyone DIY before?

I am still researching now, and now my concern is how i should get the materials prepared, i can do drilling but...cutting the wood in size will be inconvenience, is there a place we can just get all the plywood or materials cut in size so i can just do the assemble?

What have i done wrong?

I am a A- tenant, on time to pay all the bills. However, as one of my housemate move out, only 2 of us are paying the rental for the whole unit. On top of that, my other housemate has her income reduce during this pandemic. So, i asked for a discount from the landlord.

For any % discount, i offer another year to extend tenancy. However, my landlord refuse. As my tenancy expired and MCO started, i think is best not to move first. After the failed offer, i told my owner to extend tenancy for 2 months. (hoping the MCO will ended by that time)

The owner agreed and said notify him a month before i move out. However, the owner quickly find tenant and now rushing me to move out during this period.

So instead of moving out at around 6,000 covid case, i am forced to move out during this 20,000 covid case. On top of that, the owner also keep pushing me to let visitor to come and view the unit.

Looking back, what have i done wrong?

I am still a small potato in the company.

I can see my colleagues are trying their best to climb the corporate ladder.

For me, after working for some while, i think climbing the current corporate ladder may not worth it. However, i believe there is always things to explore and learn along the way.

Please share here your career growth. Do you climb the ladder in the same company after xx years? or you jump here and there to get to the next level.

Moving out soon, but total lockdown..

My tenancy agreement expires in July and i have already plan to move to another district.
However, with MCO 3.0, phase 1,2,3, i couldn't go and inspect the unit and i don't think i could make it to move out by July either.
Thus, i plan to talk to my landlord to extend my tenancy for maybe another 2 months.
But, these 2 months will no longer cover under tenancy agreeement...
So, worst come to it...what if my landlord couldn't pay me back my deposit afterward...

Anyone moving out soon? having the same experience? Any advice?

Stay at Condominium or Serviced Residence/Apartm?

I have stayed at condominium type unit but never in serviced residence/service apartment.

Since going to move out, i plan to move to a more convenient location (transport, grocery, restaurants) and they are mostly serviced residence/service apartment unit.
I found the differences between condo and these type of unit is the cost of electric and water bill will be more expensive.

Thus, i wonder if this is true? as if the differences is big. This is important as i want to make sure moving to a more convenient location is worth the price.

Choosing optical lens for only one eye

I have an eye condition, so only my left eyesight require the assistance of optical lens. Whereas, my right eyesight is hopeless even with optical lens.
Last 2 year, i went to an optical shop at tun hussein onn and made a hoya lens, written here at the authenticity card ®HL160 HVP BC SPH: 0.00, (L)HL160 HVP-BC SPH:-1.00 CYL:-2.50 AXIS:1.00
With that measurement and frame, i made my glasses with the cost around Rm800+. Is this price considered reasonable for you guys?

In the coming months, i am going to make another pair because i couldn't read clearly without my glasses (used to only wear during work hours).
So, glasses or hoya user, do you guys have any better recommendation?

Condo Wall is hot...even at night

I stay at condo, high floor, corner unit. Recently, i notice the one of the room wall is hot, even though it is already night time. I tried to switch off all the electricity, and the temperature is back to normal. However, it is happening again and i wonder is this common for condominium? Anyone had this experience?

No doctor eczema

I know i have eczema and i have not go to the doctor yet, because usually they will just give the cream that contains steroid to fix it.
Is using the steroid cream the only way to suppress the eczema?
I am reluctant to go to the doctor for months and now my eczema on my hand just never get better. Anyone appreciate if you could share some advice.. =(

Totally beginner riding a bicycle

I bought a cheap bicycle about rm400 from a shop for leisure cycling. At this point, i had only ride a bicycle for about 3 times...so i am stil learning. After that, i cycle twice a week aorund my condo's park and only for fun. After 1 months..i notice the bike is making sound..after hitting the wall and fall, the handlebar grip of the bike is...damage.

I know this is a cheap bike, so is common for me when it is broken easily. Does this happen to more expensive bike too? Some bike are so expensive that it cost thousands...

Im going to bring the bike to the shop for repair, at the same time im thinking do i really have to consider buying a better bike with more exp price after this incident.

Mco time, no need go bank open saving acc

Laz time i brought my bro to bank register acc, the staff said cannot do it on the spot, need to fill in details set for appointment, and the bank will call for account reg. This is becase mco period, they want to prioritize complicated process...so the easy one can wait. But, my bro missed the call, eventually no account made. I wonder, this process is so manual...is there online open bank account service now? im not aware of it...anyone know?

I know products research such as rakuten trade, ipsos, mostly to collect data for a survey to your products experience or consumer habits.
How about scientific research?
As the study requires certain requirement, only a small groups of people will be qualified to apply as participants.

I just moved in...and yayy is a new unit. Until i found it is weird when looking at the fan..

I suspect there is a camera built inside the fan or did i just think too much?

Has anyone experience it? What should i do now..i want to dismantle the fan to check it but i cant turn it easily..

Translation skill?

I understand English, Malay, Chinese, Japanese (N2), however i am not very proficient in each language (especially English and Japanese grammar).
Recently, i thought that maybe i can try doing some translation, or setting my goal to do translation work in the future would be great.

However, as i said i am not very proficient, thus can anyone share some useful advice(s) to sharpen translation skill?

I have bad teeth..the money i spent on gigi..*sobsob*

Recently, another of my tooth died...and i did root canal treatment again..if i dont do crown..it will get dark and i will upgrade to become witch..

So im curious have anyone did crown for front tooth? How long it will last bfr the next service? What about the cost? Is it necessary to do it?
