Credit Card Application Rejected

Anyone working in Maybank and Public bank here could explain the reason why credit card applications are rejected for foreigners especially. I had Maybank Platinum credit card for 2 years (had to renew annually) and the 3rd year I tried to renew, it got rejected even though I don't have any bad credit records and I'm eligible to apply (based on the bank staff). I pay my taxes and I even contribute for EPF. I seek out for reason but got same reply from both banks saying they are unable to reveal the reason for rejection. I tried contacting BNM regarding this but they also say can't help to find the reason. WTF
Same goes with public bank and one of my colleague going through the same. Anyone could help me with the Ombudsman email, so I try my luck.

Hope someone work with banking could help me
