The deceased was identified as Hail. It is understood that the baby was taken to the childcare center the previous night and found unconscious around 4 a.m. this morning. He was rushed to the hospital's emergency department.

It is understood that the baby's mother, Umm Habiba (30 years old), is a nurse and was on night shift at the hospital at the time of the incident. The baby's uncle, Ahmad Rufihadi (31 years old), said in an interview that his sister contacted the family immediately after being notified by the childcare center that the child's face had turned purple.

"My sister called to tell me that the child's face was purple and he wasn't breathing. When we arrived at the emergency department, the doctors were performing CPR on the child, but he still passed away."

Rufhadi revealed that he subsequently obtained CCTV footage from the childcare center and suspected abuse and bullying in the footage. He has therefore filed a police report, urging the authorities to conduct a full investigation and take strict action.

He pointed out that the childcare center operates 24 hours a day and has supervisors, yet such a tragedy still occurred, which is unacceptable.

It is understood that the baby boy is Umm's first child, and she had only recently started sending him to the center after returning to work from maternity leave.

“We thought it was safe there because the childcare center is within the hospital grounds; we never imagined something like this would happen to our own family.”

Rufhadi also revealed that he frequently picks up and drops off his nephew and has not noticed any obvious injuries on the child. However, he has heard of other parents questioning the childcare center's management, including reports of children being slapped.

He said, unable to hide his grief, that he had even bought new clothes for his nephew for Eid al-Fitr this year.

“I had planned to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with my sister and nephew, and now all I have left are his clothes.”

He emphasized that the family will never forgive those involved and demanded that the authorities handle the matter seriously.

“This involves a life, and those responsible must not escape justice.”

It is understood that the baby boy's body will be taken to Terengganu for burial next to his grandmother's grave. Police are currently at the scene conducting an investigation and have taken away relevant evidence. It is understood that two other women have also been taken away to assist with the investigation.

Siasatan mendapati ketika kejadian, mangsa berumur 18 tahun yang menunggang Yamaha Y16 dan pelajar lelaki berusia 15 tahun yang menunggang Yamaha 15 ZR, dalam perjalanan dari arah Bukit Katil menghala ke Tiang Dua.

"Setiba di lokasi kejadian, motosikal Yamaha 15 ZR yang ditunggang pelajar lelaki berusia 16 tahun dan membonceng pelajar perempuan juga berumur 16 tahun dari arah Tiang Dua ke Bukit Katil bertembung dengan kedua-dua motosikal itu.

"Akibat rempuhan itu, ketiga-tiga pelajar terbabit disahkan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian, manakala lelaki terbabit cedera parah," katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Mayat ketiga-tiga mangsa dihantar ke Jabatan Forensik Hospital Melaka, dan mangsa yang cedera parah dirawat di zon merah hospital yang sama.

"Semua kenderaan yang terbabit kemalangan ditahan untuk pemeriksaan di Pusat Pemeriksaan Kenderaan Berkomputer (PUSPAKOM).

"Siasatan lanjut masih diteruskan di bawah Seksyen 41(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan (APJ 9187)," katanya.

Terdahulu, media melaporkan tular gambar yang memaparkan keadaan mangsa yang tercampak di jalan akibat kemalangan itu, selain motosikal yang dinaiki mereka dilaporkan remuk teruk dalam kejadian itu.

Menurut sumber, ketiga-tiga mangsa yang menunggang motosikal, termasuk seorang remaja perempuan, dipercayai meninggal dunia di lokasi kejadian akibat kecederaan parah.

(Ipoh, 28th) Two Malay men illegally entered the Sultan Azlan Shah Dam in Ulu Kinta in the early hours of the morning in an attempt to steal cables, but accidentally fell into the water. One was rescued, while the other remains missing.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 am on Friday. 34-year-old Mohd Zumadi was rescued by firefighters who arrived at the scene, while 32-year-old Reezan remains missing, suspected of drowning.

Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Abang Zainal Abidin, confirmed that police initially received a report from the dam management that evening regarding the theft of substation cables. Minutes later, the Tanjung Rambutan police station received a report of a man suspected of falling into the water and going missing near the dam.

“According to preliminary investigations, the two men are suspected of stealing cables, but one of them accidentally fell into the water and may have drowned; the other was trapped on the dam bank and was subsequently rescued,” he said.

He added that the dam is approximately 9 meters deep and is a high-risk restricted area. The rescued 34-year-old man is currently being detained by police for questioning, while the fire and rescue department is still searching for the missing 32-year-old man. As of now, firefighters have not found any trace of the missing man.

It is understood that the dam management discovered the anomaly while reviewing CCTV footage. The CCTV footage showed the two men appearing in the area, one sinking into the water, while the other struggled on the surface. Management immediately called the police for assistance.

In addition, the Tambun Fire and Rescue Department continued its search and rescue operation on Friday morning, and with the assistance of the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department's Water Rescue Team (PPDA), deployed boats to patrol the waters around the location where the man went missing, while further expanding the search area and conducting surface searches in an effort to find any trace of the missing man.

College Graduate Unable to Find Job for Six Months After Retrenchment, Turns to Food Delivery and Feels Defeated

(Kuala Lumpur, 22nd) — Despite holding a tertiary diploma, a 29-year-old graduate was retrenched without warning and has been unable to secure employment for six months. He said that with his university degree and prior work experience — and without demanding a high salary or prestigious position — he was confident he would quickly secure a new job.

“However, after six months of job hunting, there was no response at all. I revised my résumé several times, lowering my expected salary from RM4,000 to RM3,500, and eventually to RM3,000, stating that it was negotiable. I applied to more than 30 companies, and some interviewers did not even finish reviewing my résumé before rejecting me,” he said.

After half a year of unsuccessful job searching, his wife suggested he try working as a delivery rider temporarily. Pressured by financial needs, he reluctantly accepted. On his first day, he worked eight hours but earned less than RM50, and after deducting petrol expenses, very little remained.

He admitted that the most painful aspect was not the fatigue, but the feeling of giving in and questioning whether he was inadequate.

“I respect delivery riders. But when you are unemployed for a long time, society decides what you are ‘worthy’ of doing.”

The post quickly gained widespread attention online. Tan Sri Noor Azlan expressed shock at the young man’s situation.

He pointed out that approximately two million graduates are currently unemployed or unable to find jobs matching their qualifications, and some may even be from UKM.

“Are there students who once studied with us now facing similar difficulties? Let us work together to realise the dreams of these young people and care about their future and development after they leave campus,” he said.

He added that as educators, there is a responsibility to understand graduates’ real-life situations. However, he admitted that universities previously did not focus on students’ career development direction, as it was not part of performance evaluation metrics.

The seller, Zhang Xinlan, stated in a Facebook post that according to information she has gathered, a customer completed a bank transfer and received the purchased items before subsequently lodging a complaint with Malaysia’s National Scam Response Center (NSRC), accusing her of being involved in an “e-commerce scam.”

Following the report, the bank reportedly flagged her account as “suspicious” and initiated risk control measures, resulting in the immediate freezing of her business account.

Zhang explained that the account, opened three years ago, serves as her sole account for daily business transactions and customer payments. Since the freeze, she has been unable to access the funds, while QR payment and bank transfer services have also been suspended, severely disrupting her online business operations and causing significant financial losses.

“They received the goods, yet turned around and reported me. I feel completely helpless,” she said.

In her latest update posted yesterday, Zhang revealed that OCBC Bank had contacted her to issue an apology and explained that the matter is currently pending a final decision from Bank Negara Malaysia. She added that she expects to continue following up on the case after the Lunar New Year.

With regard to Public Bank, Zhang noted that although she has been able to open a new account, the funds in the previously frozen account remain inaccessible.

“The account has been reopened, but the QR code and account functions are effectively unusable,” she said.

Despite facing severe disruption during the Chinese New Year period, Zhang maintained a composed outlook, writing in a post: “Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year. There is nothing to be sad about. I still wish everyone a Happy New Year and peace.”

She had earlier filed a police report over the matter and issued a firm statement today, saying that should the individual involved continue to refuse to come forward, she may consider releasing relevant evidence and documentation publicly in order to clear her name.

At present, the case remains under further administrative review and legal investigation, with authorities yet to provide a final resolution.
