Can a normal laptop be converted to Chromebook?

I was wondering if a regular laptop can be converted into a chromebook? If yes, are there any service stores that can do this?

Thanks.

No Wifi Icon on My Laptop. Please Help.

Hi....

Yesterday I was about to burn my laptop for being pissed that I can't connect to wifi.

I've tried everything and still it doesn't work. I've tried to enable network sharing. I didn't work. Mainly because whenever I saved the settings, it went back to normal again. People said that I need to turn off the airplane mode. Butttt guess what, I can't. I'm just annoyed at this point. But it's a new day, and still trying to fix it my self with the help of tech support forums of course.

Below are some pics of my current laptop situation :

http://imgur.com/a/OpGx5TG

http://imgur.com/a/O15iQA5

http://imgur.com/a/4XCfiij

My laptop model : Asus A510U-QBQ588T

Also, I've tried to ask this on reddit's tech support subreddit. But still no avail.

Here is the subreddit link for reference :

https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/commen...dows_10_laptop/

On the other note, does anyone know any good-with-no-hanky-panky service stores?

Thanks a million in advance!!!!

I Have a Crush on a Twitter User

I've been following this person on twitter quite a while. But only in incognito mode.

Funny thing is I kinda have a crush on him just based on his tweets. Also, we were studying in the same college before. I don't think that we have close mutual friends, and during our time there, we did pass by each other and thats kinda it. I'm not sure if he even acknowledges my existence or anything.

1. Do you guys think its weird, having a crush just by the other person's tweets?
2. I have like traumatic experience from before (by making the first move) and just kinda avoiding myself to not embarrass myself by making the first move. So yeah, I have no idea on how to do something about this shit.

Any advice and thoughts?

Try Not To Laugh Challenge

Lately, I don't have much work in the office and my desk is quite strategic. No one can't really see my laptop screen unless they walk by in front of me first.

So, when I have nothing to do, I would find myself scrolling through funny feeds. That's when I discover, that if you can go through not laughing or smiling at work then sure champion lorh.

Hahaha. Just saying.

Best Foundation to Use in Malaysian Weather

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know and good face foundation that's good to use with Malaysian weather.

Preferably something that is not cakey or even something that doesn't make you like a condensed water bottle.

I've been eyeing on Tarte's Rainforest of The Sea water foundation. Has anyone tried it? Any good?

I'm Renovating a 30+ Year Old House

Hi Guys,

Since owning (or buying) a house is just damn expensive, I putting that at the bottom of my wish list for now. So instead, I've been thinking of renovating an old house which was a descendant by my ancestors (lol sounds ancient there).

Now, I need some opinions regarding costing, and some other question I'll be asking.

Some facts about the house:
- invested with pest
- ground floor is surrounded with brick wall
- ground floor is about 140sqm (not so sure about this -- will update once I have a correct area calculation)
- first floor is surrounded with plywood (?) walls
- first floor is about 132sqm (not so sure about this -- will update once I have a correct area calculation)

Things that I would want to do:
- change plywood walls to brick walls
- service the whole plumbing system
- service the whole electrical system
- give a fresh new floor tiles
- plaster ceiling for the whole house
- new doors
- new window (frames damn karat already -- open and closing the windows seems like a workout)
- a makeover for bathrooms
- a kitchen makeover

From my list, it seems like, I'm renovating (and redecorating) the whole house already.

So my questions are:
- what will the costing be based on the works I'm planning to do?
- since the plywood walls are on the first floor, does this mean that the contractors need to open up the roof first?
- is it save to still live in the house while renovating?

I guess, that's it for now. Really looking forward on your guys' feedback.

Thanks in advance!
