Hi guys and gals,
I hope to get your opinion here if I should consider to even go for the interview with this MNC company.

So did they tell me that there will be at least 3 rounds to the interviews and all of them are face-to-face interview.
The first round would be for technical skill for the job, then the second round would be soft-skills and the last round would be for behavorial thinking.

The first interview had been postponed about 5 times as the interviewer kept being held up at meetings or by the client since the interviewer is based at the customer's office. We eventually did go through the first interview and I was told by their HR that I made it to the 2nd round of the interview, which would be the evaluation of my soft-skills.

Then about a week before the 2nd interview, their HR called me up again to say that the interview had been re-scheduled and that another manager would be interviewing me regarding my technical skills. When I tried to clarify with the HR if this is the 2nd round of the interview is to test my technical skills (seems like I have to go through round one again?) or my soft-skills, they kept dodging the question.

I'm seriously having 2nd thoughts about going for the interview. I mean, it took 5 re-scheduled interviews for the first round of the interview to eventually take place. Then now when they say I have "successfully" moved on to the 2nd round of the interview but they are going back to my technical skill assessment? It seems like my application is stagnant.

Any thoughts?

ayam wented for interbiu at this company and got the offer but the thing is...although got 15% increase in salary but i am not sure about the leave policy. The company don't give 18 days for AL and the 14 days for Sick Leave. Instead, they give straight 24 days of leave. You want to use those 24 days for AL, EL, compassionate leave, Sick leave, etc...all up to you. But you only have 24 days annually lah.

So is this type of leave ok?

Ayam so happy that finally got bonus this round but then boss cakap "In conjunction with our company annual CNY dinner, it is mandatory for everyone to contribute back their bonuses back to the company for the CNY celebration. Hope everyone will enjois the dinner to be held later..."

The case of the ex-bf

my ex-bf has already found a new gf but yet he still tries ways to keep in touch with me. He just makes small chit chat but he will try to make it a "double meaning" if there is a chance. When I ask for a simple meet-up then he comes up with a 1001 excuses to not meet up... "I'm tired" la... "I need to take my parents to the clinic for follow-up" la.... "My gf will kill me" la...

If he has no interest in me then why does he still tries so hard to keep in touch with me? I have already tried to ignore him, his messages but he keeps on trying. Maybe I am too soft by giving in to replying to his messages after 100 times but why is he doing this?

Should I wait or take the risk?

I am thinking to switch jobs to another company. But most of my friends say don't do it. They said to wait for bonus then only resign. But I look at it macam no bonus coming and even if it did come, it only credit inside salary in April. I don't think I can stand working here for that long.

p/s: If i resign, i got no job waiting. I am thinking to resign first then only search for job.

my office company started this Whatsapp group. Then boss say all of us must change the nick to our actual name.
Ayam disagree. The phone is mine (not even company phone)..then the phone-bill I pay myself (not even subsidize by company) so why must I change my Whatsapp nick to my actual name???

boss said if we don't change our nick he mau lipot us to HR for disciplinary action. Got such thing meh?

Driver of VAU 2458 bodoh and inconsiderate to world end.
Bad enough block my car. Then did not even leave behind phone number!! Carpark management even paged car owner to remove car but stupiak car owner never came out to remove the car. I waited more than 1/2 hour and still never come to move the car!! How inconsiderate can driver of VAU2458 be???!!

p/s - handbreak was not in released position so cannot push car out of the way...

jilat kasut boss is gooding meh? Last week got new senior guy come in.

wahlauwei, every morning buy breakfast for boss, then any lame joke boss tell, this guy will literally laugh out loud until whole office can hear.

Then after lunch, he go boss table and tell personal stories and ask boss for advice to solve his personal issue. When our boss give advice, then this fella will say 'Wah, boss! I did the right thing to come to you for advice. You are so wise!".

Then tea-time, he will go make boss his tea and say 'boss, i made this for you. I know work can be very stress. So i make tea for you..."

wah, the rest of us can see he jilat kasut until so obvious...but really need to jilat kasut boss until like that? Even the old-timers here never jilat until like that.
Is it gooding to jilat kasut boss? I never tried before so i don't now. What /k say?

my colleague got caught red-handed for watching porno in office. Boss ask him to leave and HR decided to terminate him.
My colleague now rage....he said that he did nothing wrong and said he want to sue company for terminating him.

Is he really in the right?

consulting vs end-user

i went for few interviews already and then i noticed the different culture between consulting and end-user companies..
Why is it in consulting company the office so quiet? Rambut gugur n drop on the floor also can hear.
Then when in end-user company, the suasana macam kat pasar malam. A lot of pipul talking loudly and yelling to each other across the room.

Why the difference is like that?

Hi sifus,
I just bought a xiaomi powerbank (10000 mAH) last week and everytime i wanna charge the powerbank, it takes about 2 days to fully charge it? is this normal?
It's weird it takes so long to charge. Any advice?

so just now morning, suddenly polis (not traffic police) stop my car.
when policeman come down, he ask if I am so and so person, and if my hometown is Kuantan. I replied yes.
Then he ask where I work and where I am going to? I reply work near PJ and otw to Ikea.
Then i ask back "Saya ada buat salahan ke?"
Policeman said "oh, takde...so you kerja kat PJ la nih?"
I reply "ye, kerja kat PJ. Saya kena tahan ni kenapa? Ada apa apa masalah ke?"
Then he smile and said "takde apa apa. boleh jalan"

so i confuse, why policeman stop me if i didnt do anything wrong?

p/s - he didnt ask for my IC either....so i really don't know why he stop me...
