my power dvd suddenly cannot function after i update my msn to latest version. whats wrong v that? does my pc infected by any virus during the process of upgrading? or thats my pc/software itself internal pro? when i try to open my dvd v power dvd, it showed
PowerDVD does not support the current display mode. (DDraw Overlay mode is recommended)

Please lower the screen resolution and color depth, for example, 800x600 with 256 colors. Or you may adjust the refresh frequency, for example, to 75 Hz.

LLB or Professional courses?

Hi all. I'm study business subject currently and I'm planning to have extra qualification for myself, eg. LLB or ICSA(Chartered Secretary in FCSI level+). I'm interested to hear the views of others regarding the programmes.

Both subjects touch about law. And with the knowledge of law, it helped in my future careers. By contrast, with LLB qualification, it is like more professional if compare with ICSA. But I find that I have neither sit for A-level nor STPM before, I have only a diploma in hand now By the way, if I choose ICSA, it is not nessasary for me to take A-level or STPM, and in return, I've been exempted up to 5 papers in ICSA PDCA level already.

Duration of study is not a problem for me, it doesn't matter since I'm only 18 years old now(going to be 19 yr old in next month), the road is still long and I'm interested in learning. After I got my diploma, I felt that business subject is too general(other than professional accounting). Some of my friends who don't study business can do well in either marketing or human resource job. It comes to my dilemma as I think I may not "professional" enough

Both courses are good. If there is only 1 route for you to choose, which would you choose and why? Will you give up your degree and study it full-time(takes about 4-5 years) or continue your current degree and study part-time(more than 5 years )
I wish to get a way out. Even I'm young now, but if I keep running the wrong way, it waste my parents' hard-earned money!

I may be wrong on any sentence though. Please let me know what you think. our comments are greatly appreciated.

MAICSA/ICSA qualification

Do the business fields today, especially in Malaysia, have the high demand on a person with MAICSA (Malaysia Institute Of Chartered Secretary Association) qualification?

FYI, in order to become an ICSA chartered secretary, a person has to pass through a certain stages, such as below:

Associate (ACIS) - You need to be 21 years of age or over and have at least six years' relevant work experience. The six year requirement can be reduced by up to three years for graduates and holders of other relevant qualifications.

Fellow (FCIS) - You need to demonstrate career progression to a senior level in a substantial organisation, be at least 25 years old with at least eight years' relevant work experience (reducible by up to three years as above).

Since it is quite tough to become the chartered secretary and takes several years, so just wanna know the opinions from others, whether it is worth to be a chartered secretary and spend the years in order to obtain the professional qualification, or just complete a degree(other than professional courses) and gain experience through the jobs?

MAICSA/ICSA

Hi all, does anyone here has the experience with MAICSA/ICSA before? FYI, i m currently a diploma marketing student and some people been encouraged me to take this additional professional paper as well. But i m quite confuse how this qualification can help in my future. For wat i know, those who have the qualification of MAICSA can get a better job(in business field) than others n always can get the senior level types of job. Is these real? And does this qualification really recognized by whole world? I want to make sure this before I make any decision.

Feel free to share ur opinion.
Welcome~
