Screen lag when gaming

I am using Toshiba satellite L745-1156XW with spec below:
- Intel® Core™ i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz
- 4GB DDR3 1333MHz memory
- 640GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial ATA)
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M @ 1GB Dedicated VRam

I am using 32bit Windows 7.

When i play game, my laptop screen will repeatedly freeze or lag (nothing moves) for 3-5 seconds then back to normal for 3-5 seconds. This is very annoying on gaming. The HDD light is in (not blinking) when the games lag. I did not encounter this problem in the past. It just started to lag recently.

I have tried following but still encounter the lagging problem:
1. restore to out of box state
2. update Nvidia drivers to the latest version 314.22
3. run defragmentation
4. run antivirus using microsoft security essentials, avira, avg
5. update bios
6. change power option to high performance
7. increase virtual memory size to 6144
8. turn off system restore on all drives
9. turn off windows update and disable the services
10. run chkdisk, everything looks good.

The HWMonitor shows my GPU temperature is around 48 Celsius degrees and CPU is about 58 Celsius degrees. When games are running, GPU temperature will increase to 60 Celsius degrees and CPU is up to about 78 degrees)

The games I am playing is Ragnarok Online and Ragnarok Online II. Both games worked fine in the past but started to have the lagging problem two months ago.

I have searched the internet for solution but could not find any helps. Any help would be appreciated.
