I've got the X-Lite SIP client installed on my laptop and a sip account at onsip. I'm trying to run the client but it doesn't seem to connect.

I'm on unifi by the way. Can anyone help?

hope you guys can help me out..

i just bought the sony bravia KLV-40S550A for my PS3(its the only FULL HD in the S-series). I plug in my PS3 via the HDMI cable and it shows 1080p mode while in the XMediaBar. But when i start Batman Arkham Asylum, it changes mode to 720p. It's the same as well for Resident Evil 5. i've tried tweaking some settings on both the LCD and ps3 but it seems to still be playing in 720p.

How do i get it to run games in 1080p?

ive been searching around giran NPC shops and i cant find the light crossbow there? can someone tell me where is it sold? i found a player selling a +4 light crossbow but he wants to let go of it at 2.5mil!

i am a turn based game junkie.

i played the fallout series(and am really anticipating that fallout 3 will rawk my socks again as fallout 2 did for me), played Arcanum Of Steamworks & Magic Obscura which is a title by the same guy who brought Fallout(you didn't know this? shame on you) and I've also played the Disciples series complete with the expansions(over and over again).

is anyone out there who also enjoys turn based games like me? know of any good games besides the ones that i mentioned above?

Network Engineer Interview

I received a call today from Excellink(which I assume is a job recruiting firm for HP as they did specify that I would be attending 2 interviews tomorrow, one is technical).

Anyone is working as a network engineer there or has gone for the interview, could you tell me what I should look up or study prior to attending the interview and what sort of questions will they be asking.

wireless connection issue

Modem: artnet ADSL router (ARTNET C802R1U-A00)
Router: D-Link 11g/2.4Ghz Wireless Router(DI-524 ver. B2)
Firewall used: none(windows and norton internet security are currently disabled)

Problem details
First occurence of problem: last night
Problem frequency: first time
Problem description:
recently i purchased a dlink wireless router to enable all the notebooks in my home to connect simultaneously on the internet. i had setup the network last night and it all went well with the normal streamyx PPOE connection by using the modem to connect to the internet and the wireless router connecting all the notebooks with the modem.

this morning the connection on my notebook shows 'limited or no connectivity' and there was no internet connection at all. i tried connecting directly using the modem and everything went well(no streamyx connection issue, thus problem lies in the router settings perhaps).

can someone assist me with this issue?
have tried ping the router at 192.168.0.1 but rx no reply, and cannot access the router setup page at http://192.168.0.1/(this is on auto specify ip address)
tried setting the computer ip to 192.168.0.2 and pinging the router again, got a reply and the 'limited connectivity' icon changed to full connectivity but still cant access the router setup page(this is on manual specify ip address and gateway).
had tried hard reset on the reset button at the back, but still the issue persist.

i cant actually do any troubleshooting if i cant get to the router setup page. can someone help?

where to get the charger for an ipod? right now i can only charge from the usb connector using the pc(but the problem is i dont have a pc of my one). is there a charger we can buy that we can use to charge directly form our power socket. another thing, the ipod i have is the one bought from japan. so do i need a ac/dc converter thingimajiggy to recharge it if there is a power socket charger.

another thing, is there a cover/casing for ipods? the back cover is rather shiny and i really dont want to scratch it or anything.

last one, where can i get all the items above and at what price? i have the ipod that can play audio and also video and also has 30 gig storage. the packaging has that U2 frontman singing on its cover.
