Which laptops?

I'm looking to buy a new gaming laptop to replace my old one and after researching for quite sometimes, I've shortlisted 4 of them. My top choice so far is GX502. It has all the thing I needed (RTX 2070 (Max-P), Great design, White-blueish color variants of it (for the professional looks) & USB-C port that can be use to charge with powerbank (great for when going outside frequent). The only reason keeping me from pulling the trigger is because of the QA & After sales services I've heard from people. Is it still that bad or they've improved since then?

The others 3 choices of mine:

Vapor 15 Pro

Pros: - Have the long battery life
- The most lightest (might be a concern for me its ability to handle the heat)
- Have good after sales service

Cons: - Don't have G-Sync
- Have GPU limitation in terms of performance

Nova 15

Pros: - Might handle the heat greatly because of more spaces
- Have good after sales service

Cons: - The heaviest one with 2.5 kg
- Lowest battery life compared to other laptops even though it being the heaviest
- Don't like having the numpads

Laguna SE

Pros: - Same with Vapor except with battery (63 Wh)
- Have good after sales service

Cons: Have numpads

I want to hear your opinion on these laptops and if possible experiences with them. If you have other laptop to recommend that I've overlook, feel free to do so.

Links to specs:

GX502: https://www.asus.com/my/Laptops/ROG-Zephyru...502/Tech-Specs/
Vapor 15 Pro: https://www.level51pc.co/welcome/Productinner/vapor-15-pro
Nova 15: https://www.level51pc.co/welcome/Productinner/nova-15
Laguna SE: https://www.illegear.com/laptops/laguna-se/#techspecs

Stem Cell Transplant

I got diagnosed with leukemia cancer on the month of June last year (which later got confirmed type B-ALL). It is a type that can spread faster to all part of body if not treated immediately.

I've been taking chemotherapy treatment (6th cycle currently) for almost 1 years now since then because my priority at that time to treat the cancer ASAP or else I'm going die. Fast forward to yesterday, after going to stem cell transplant counseling which got confirmed by the doctor that my little brother blood match with me to be as my donor (which rarely happens).

Also the doctor then proceed by giving me all the info that me and my little brother needed to know about the transplant. After hearing all the info especially the risks such as can't have children, rejection to my little brother stem cells, getting cataract at early age and etc. I kind of defeated and don't know what to do except expressing my thoughts here.

I have time limit until 12th July next month to make decision whether or not to do the transplant. Basically the procedures will be as follow:

i)12th July need to remove chemoport in my right chest and the next day or so to put another big port around my neck to take all the high doses chemo, medicine, blood, etc.
ii)After that, I will be sent to HKL to do the radiotherapy and go back to Ampang to proceed with taking high doses of chemo
iii)My little brother then will go through the procedure to take little portion of his stem cell out of his body
iv)Then right after will then be transferred to my body through the tube around my neck
v)After finishing transplant it will be recovering process.

The whole thing from start to finish will last around 1 years or less including going back and forth to the hospital for the body check-up. This whole things scares me to death. Doc also said that there's no alternative treatment except the transplant for my type of cancer.

Lastly, has anyone gone through the same procedures as my upcoming transplant? Feel free to share your experiences or PM me. Could help me alot in making the decision.

What Cinema Format the Best Way to Watch Endgame?

I don't always go watch movies at cinema so I don't know what is the best way to watch the upcoming grand conclusion to the Avengers series since there is a lots of difference format offered by these 3 cinemas (e.g. TGV, GSC & MBO).

I have watched some movies before in IMAX 3D and that is as far as I've watched movies in premium price range. I would like to hear you guys opinion on this matter.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro

I've decided to buy this headphone after researching for quite some time. Before deciding to buy DT 770 Pro, I'm interested in buying Audio Technica M50X but after I heard that this headphone have many problems such as you don't feel comfortable wearing it for long time, the sound stage is not good for competitive FPS Gaming and etc.

The only problem I have with DT 770 is that it's hard to find a good price for it, everywhere I look at the price for it always around RM1000+ which is a little expensive for me. I'm looking to buy it for around RM700 - RM800. Do you guys know any retail store or online site that sell DT 770 around that price?

Computer Science Main Focus

I'm currently studying Diploma in IT at MMU (fresh intake). Planning to further study in CS Degree at top public university if got offer. Since CS emphasis more on logical thinking and mathematics compared to IT, I want to know what exactly mathematical subject CS mainly focus on? Is it different from algebra, equations, trigonometry and etc. that I learnt from IT?

I want to make sure if CS is really the path that I want to take after graduating from Diploma. If there're any additional info that you guys know about CS Degree in Malaysia, feel free to voice it out.

Laptop Suggestion for a Diploma Student

Hey guys, this July I'll be taking Diploma in IT at MMU (Cyberjaya Campus). Since IT requires you to have a laptop to do all the coding and assessment. What kind of brand do you suggest a Diploma student to have?

My laptop criteria :-

i)Can do multitasking better
ii)Have a long battery life
iii)Can hit above 60 FPS for all current and upcoming games
iv)Good for watching movie and tv series
v)Have long lifetime (If possible want to use it until I graduate from CS Degree)
vi)Better build quality
vii)Budget around RM5000-7000
viii)IPS & 120/144 hz screen. (This might sound ridiculous criteria for my budget but hey why not just list it)

Thank you for your recommendation.

A SPM Student Dilemma

I've got my SPM results and it look like this :-

Malay Language : C+
English : C+
Moral : C+
History : C+
Maths : C
Science : C+
Geography : C
Commerce : E

I know it's bad but at least I got 7 credit. With such results I may get enrolled in any programmes that put minimum requirements 5 credit and above. The reason I got such results is because I'm the lazy type of students that always love to spends time in the internet rather doing many exercises and studying more on the subject that I'm weak at. It's all changes after I watched this one show about a student that almost have the same attitude like me and how he managed to become a succesfull person later in his life (watched on April 2017). After that, I've tried my best studying and do the exercises on the subject I'm weak and managed to get the results. My resolution after this to study harder and hopefully to get First Class when studying Degree.

So that's the background of my stories and let's get to the main point of this thread. I'm already know my field of study interest and it's Computing. Im not quite sure what kind of job I'm planning to do in that field but I'm probably will find it as I further my studies. My plan is right now at least to get Degree in Computer Science and I know most of you guys will say it's impossible because the minimum requirement for CS is to get credit or pass(in some universities) in Add.Maths. One week after my last SPM papers, I've done quite amount of research and found out that Art Stream students can further their study in CS if they managed to enrolled in IT Diploma that have modules that almost similar as the one that teacher taught in Form 4 & 5. After graduating in Diploma, students can show that prove to the staff to show that the students have learnt Add.Maths subject in their Diploma.

My problem is that I don't know which private university to choose for to do the Diploma. I've heard MMU is good but I'm not sure, want to hear you guys opinion. I want to do the Diploma in the university that have the latest and greatest facilities in Computing field. Their lecturers knows what they're teaching to the students. Recognized all over Malaysia for their programmes. Lastly, most of the students that graduates from that university managed to get a job easily.

Thank you for your time to read my story.
