Hello everyone who came across this thread, I hope you are doing good!

I am conducting a survey for my final year project, it is to determine the popularity of using exotic animal parts in traditional Chinese medicine practices in Malaysia.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes, and there are no right or wrong answers. I would appreciate it if you could respond to the questions given here based on your experiences, understanding and opinion. All responses obtained will be used for this research purpose only and all information will be treated in strict confidence. All respondents' identities will also be kept confidential.

What to do after STPM (Science Stream)?

Greeting! I just got the STPM result and I am unsure what to do next, I am hoping to further study in IPTA but I don't know if my CGPA will secure me a place in good university such as UM.
For your information, I got 3.59 ( BIO,CHE,MT got A- and PA got B+ ). Here are my questions.

Personal Questions:
1. Those who got almost the same CGPA with me who got offers to IPTA, what courses do you have and which university?
2. What course can I do if I am fairly good with BIO, CHE and MT but not PHY? Because I didn't take PHY in STPM.
3. Is the research type of job bad? Because my parents and all around my friends are telling me to take biomedical science course but I heard rumor that researchers don't have salary if you can't research anything good.
4. I am interested in animal, I wish to work with animals in the future but is it a wise choice to pick B.S in agriculture (animal science), will there a job after finishing this, is the salary well-paid?

About university questions:
1. What does they mean by elective courses?
2. Is there a limit in choosing the co curriculum?
3. Is the lecture time just like in secondary/STPM time (8+ hours of study)?
4. How is your university life, would you share your experiences (please specify your course and university)?
