Audio Driver Problem in HP Pavilion DV2202TX

2 days ago, I updated my Conexant HD Audio Driver in my lappy through window update. However, the installation process failed and displayed and error message "Device Install Module Stopped Working And Was Closed". An error code "800700ff" also appeared. My speaker ended up soundless. I was like SHIT damn update!

Then I tried using the recovery manager to reinstall the Conexant HD Audio Driver provided by HP. It also failed and produced the same error message. But somehow during the installation process, the HD Audio Driver by microsoft got installed and I got my sound back.

But I was not satisfied with the sound quality using the driver from microsoft. My speaker produces a "spark" sound whenever I shut down and sart up my lappy. This was never the case when I had the Conexant HD Audio Driver installed. It's becoming annoying.. And I afraid that it will damage the speaker in the long run..

Anyone having the same problem?? Any solution to properly install the Conexant HD Audio Driver?
