Should I upgrade Edifier C3 2.1?

Hi all:

I have Edifier C3 2.1 since 2007, and today I am thinking of upgrading it, but I am not still very sure on doing this so I need your advise.

Currently I am looking for Kanto ORA4 + Kanto SUB8 subwoofer, I know the price gap is huge, if I remember I paid like RM200+ or 300+ for C3, while today the ORA4 with sub will cost me more then RM3k.

C3 is good though, works perfectly for me, so my question is, will ORA4 + sub will work much better than C3?

Why my LED light bulbs keeps failling

I thought LED light bulbs supposed to last very long but for me it rarely last beyond 2 years and most failed within a year, it will turned yellowish and start to break apart.

Currently using OSRAM E27 as downlight with reflector.

Tiles Hollowing and detached, need help!

Hi,

My house was completely renovated on 2018, and during renovation we had the worst rain in Northern Malaysia where my house was slightly flooding about few 2cm after tiles was laid.
After I moved in my house was facing the same issue 1-2 times but it is just very light about half a cm and the water retreated very soon right after the rain started to slow.

And now I am having tiles hollowing issues around my living hall, some even starting to detached from the ground at corner.

I would like to ask, is it problem caused by the floods?

And how to fix it without knocking and replacing the tiles?

I see on youtube there is a type of chemical where we can pumped into the tile and fix the problem, anyone has done it before?

Me and my wife are going for second dose today but my wife updated her apps yesterday and now cannot login anymore, always stucked at login screen no matter how many times we reinstall, change password, even tried create login with email, etc.

House flooded

Hi:

My housing area flooded just now during heavy rain, the water came in through my front door and flooded my house about 1-2 cm, may I know what is the best way to stop water from coming in? I know some uses sand bag, or clay bar to seal the gap but the problem is need someone at home to do it before the water level rise.

This is my first time purchase from them, A Super Flow Leadex III 80+ 650W and 2x 8GB Spectrix D60G DDR4, since 23 April I placed order, 24 April the status changed to pending pickup by Ninja Van, and until now no more update, sent them several msg also no reply. My other items ordered at the same day already received and now waiting for their parcel to start assemble. I don't think I will make future purchase from them again, totally irresponsible, I understand MCO might causes delay but even no reply to my msg is unacceptable.

Hi:

I was considering a new monitor and I need some advise from experts here.

My PC used mostly on gaming, and working. I am using 10 year old Acer 24 inch FHD monitor currently, thinking of getting another one due to the old monitor getting dimmer now.

Still want to run on FHD resolution, but would like to have some upgrade:

Perhaps 27 inch FHD? or should I stick to 24 inch?
Looking for 75Hz refresh rate, will it gives smoother experience on Windows and Games? (My GPU is GTX 1060 and might upgrade to 1070Ti or 1080.)
IPS panel, will it makes huge difference than TN?
Response time 5ms or less.

Any recommendation/advise on my requirement above?

Hi all:

My 40 year old house is under a 6 months major renovation, and since my house is just next to a main road, all the while we were suffered from the noise generated by moving vehicles.

After read up some threads on this forum, the option for me to do sound proofing and dust proofing is by using double glazed glass windows, but I am not sure is anyone selling this type of windows or not in my area, I am from Penang btw.

Also on my house plan, my master bedroom will have sliding door access to the balcony, some info on this site suggest that sliding door is a bad choice for sound proofing, may I know what is the best option for me to make my sliding door sound proof?

I got a feedback from my customer telling me that her recent trip to Holiday plaza at JB, was amazed by the low prices of branded apparels selling at one of the outlet shop in Holiday Plaza, unfortunately she can't recall the shop name, eg Burberry double dyed polo at only RM269, fendi at RM 269 etc.

So I would like to ask around here who have visited the outlet and have knowledge on authenticity, are those stock selling there authentic, or fake?
