Just would like to have some insight view or tips from anyone whose been to Kazakhstan before? I am from WIEF-UITM, we are bringing 12 people to Almaty and Astana.

Inquires on Transportation? Until now, have not gotten any Coach or Mini Van that can fit all of us and their prices. Any leads?

Hi guys,

I have searched through this section but non of the other threads seems to be on the same boat as i am in. Ive lost all my important files this morning due to this screwed up office pc. I have 500mb of files in my thumbdrive but it says "Empty" in the folder and i could not open the folder as my thumbdrive had been corrupted.

Please im begging you guys for any opinions on how can i retrieve back all my files in the thumbdrive? That bloody little sucker have 500mb in it but i could you open the folder . it says "Access Denied, Corrupt Files" and "Size of folder 0KB" . Does not make any sense?

PLEASE PLEASE. HELP !

Can I upgrade the RAM for the Vaio VGN-CR35G?

As i notice my laptop performance is below par at the moment.

I was told the Vaio VGN-CR35G comes with 2GB of RAM, which should be sufficient for most programs and applications under Vista. You can bump up the RAM to 3GB (the maximum capacity utilizable under 32-bit Windows operating systems).

However, 3GB configuration typically means you have to combine a 1GB RAM with a 2GB RAM. (Most notebooks come with only two slots for inserting the RAM modules.) Since the RAM modules are of unequal capacities, the dual-channel capabilities will not be enabled. This may sometimes result in slightly slower performance.

Anyone can confirm on this? appreciate your feedbacks. Thanks in advance.

Dear Laptop Kings,

I just bought my Sony Vaio VGN-CR 35G (Attached Picture) few months ago. Now, i would like it to be formatted or restore complete system so that i can get original factory condition.

So here i am, do not know how to format nor complete system restore it. By the way, Im using Windows Vista, Sony Malaysia never gave me CD for it.

I really hope u guyz can advise me step by step to format this Vaio. Should go to Recovery Centre? Any other way? They keep asking for the Recovery CD1 which they didnt provide.

Desperately looking for solutions to this matter. Im thanking you all in advance.
