Advice needed - SAP FICO vs Marketing

Hi all, I'm a fresh graduate who had a marketing internship - niche but basic IT support role - now getting a SAP FICO functional consultant offer to start in couple months.
All in the same MNC.
I don't mind which path to take, I just want the one with higher earning potential in a corporate setting.
I graduated in something like psychology so basically I have no bachelors to back me up if anyone would wanna look at academics...
During my IT support stint, I felt a barrier because I couldn't be involved in certain technical discussions.
I'm worried if it will limit my career progression with SAP FICO since I'm neither IT nor Finance.
And idk how long will SAP FICO last, if it's still lucrative...

I'm also job seeking for marketing exec roles, including Singapore, but I haven't gotten any calls yet. Marketing has a clearer career progression from junior exec - senior - manager... as usual, provided if I am able to advance. But it highly depends on the field you'll be in.

These are very different fields but I believe i can do well in both. Committing to one field is the hardest part.

I'll take the SAP FICO offer now since I don't have anything else, but I can't have HR raising eyebrows at my resume again should i wanna jump to one field or the other.

Any advice? Which career has better prospects considering my situation?

Thanks!
