overseas slow, local fast(useless) HELP

hi all i'm new here. i have been using shitreamyx for years.
of course like many of you i have experienced all kind of service problems before.
but this time the problem is very grave and really strange.
it has been 2 weeks+ i have been experiencing slow speed for overseas servers(which is 99% of the actual internet...)
result from speedtest.net i got for local: 880kbps down, 435 up (110kb down, 50+ up which is the right speed i have been using for years)
i get pretty much the same result for malaysia, singapore, thailand, japan, australia and new zealand.

yet all the internet activity is just damn slow all the time...
then i tried servers located somewhere else...
(eg.. china, india, africa, the whole europe and the whole continent of America 20+ countries)
the results are: 50-100 kpbits down, the upload is about 70% of the fastest above i got.

I called tmnet service support the person said theres nothing wrong with their service or problem around my service area.(JB) (I had to argue with the guy for about an hour just to provide him the 'proof' of the problem(dont let me see you in public or ill... apparently hes the level 1 guy, after spending one hour talk to that highly inflexible dude finally i ended up with the level 2 guy which kindly said to me he would report to the higher authority to look into the problem.

few days ago TM personnel came to my place and he tested with his pc and modem. the result is the same as slow as my setup. he even tinkered with the phone line outside my house. he could not explain why either...

later I have mechanic test the quality of the phone line(no problem found) at my house and even replaced the lighning arresters for the phone line...

my service is 1mbps.
i have tested the speed over 2 pcs 3 Oses (2 windows, 1 linux) (nothing wrong with any of my os)
i have an Aztech modem/router. latest firmware. which i have been using from the start.

not a while ago, i replaced the following settings with the default setting of in the router.
pppoa vc mux replaced pppoe llc
g.dmt only
i tried with firewall enabled and disabled. with and without opendns.
I notice that i can get 90% of fastest speed at few US servers but for the rest like europe is still freaking slow...
with pppoa the modem connected to streamyx very fast. malaysia servers is lightning fast too but google.com is really slow...

so pissed.
advice?
