Jail and Sebat for Liwat pupil

KOTA KINABALU: A man from Kelantan was sentenced to 12 years' jail and three strokes of the rotan by the High Court here for sodomising a pupil four years ago.

Judge Datuk Nurchaya Arshad meted out the sentence on Abd Wahab Ibrahim, 45, after allowing the prosecution's appeal against Wahab's acquittal.

On Feb 19, Wahab was acquitted and discharged by the Sessions Court here after a full trial which prompted the prosecution to appeal in the High Court against the decision.

At the High Court proceedings, the judge found Wahab guilty of committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature on the boy aged eight-years-and-five-months at a room of a school in Keningau on March 7, 2017.

Nurchaya then set aside Wahab's acquittal and convicted him under Section 377C of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of between five and 20 years, and whipping, upon conviction.

Nurchaya, however, granted Wahab's application for a stay of execution pending appeal to the court of appeal.

Pending the appeal, the judge allowed him to be released on bail of RM30,000, with RM15,000 to be deposited in the court with two local sureties.

The court further ordered Wahab to report to the nearest police station where he resides once in two weeks and to inform the investigating officer of his case of his intentions to leave his district and his destination.

The accused was also ordered to surrender his International Passport if any, and he must attend any court dates if required to do so.

Earlier, during the mitigation, counsel Hamid Ismail who represented Wahab asked for a lower sentence as the accused was a first-time offender.

Hamid submitted that based on the facts of the case, there was no injury caused to the victim.

The pain suffered by the victim was caused by constipation as admitted by a doctor who examined the victim, he said.

"At the moment, the accused has been suspended from working and has suffered a lot. He is currently emtionally disturbed because his mother, aged 75, is sick," he said, adding that the accused needed to take care of his mother.

On the application for a stay of execution, Hamid submitted that it was advisable for the accused not to be sent to prison at this moment in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said the accused was not a flight risk and throughout the trial, the accused had been very cooperative with the police and the court whereby he attended all mentions and trial dates, and did not breach any of the bail terms imposed.

Further, Hamid said the accused was not a habitual offender or danger to the public.

In reply, Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Rozana Abdul Hadi urged for a deterrent sentence to prevent and educate the public from engaging in such heinous act against children.

She said as a teacher, the accused has a duty to educate and protect children under the care of teachers at school. However, the accused had betrayed that duty and trust given to him as an educator.

As for the application for a stay of execution, Rozana among others submitted that there was no guarantee that not being in prison would prevent a person from contracting Covid-19.

She stressed that the prison had its SOPs to prevent and lower the risk for inmates from being infected with Covid-19.

MBR to GPT

Hi all PC Sifus

I got this 3TB HDD suppose planning to keep 3TB of prawn
but then after install, the 2TB can use, another 742.56 gb unallocated, then 500mb become system reserve

OS is on my other SSD

So, i read from the internet they can fix this problem by delete everything on the HDD, then convert from MBR to GPT and do the partition again.

However, the problem now is got 500mb of system reserve. So i think if i delete everything will harm the system

How can i convert MBR to GPT without kacau the 500mb system reserve?

Dear All

There's this girl which i'm going after for more than 2 years.
We have known each other for 7 years
Previously we did go out together, but it did not work out.
Our relation broken, and we lost contact for 1 year

2 years ago, we met again, and our relationship rekindled.
However, i did confessed to her once, but she did not give me a clear cut answer
We did went out a few times, did many things together.
She is showing good signs and i admit i did put alot of effort in winning her heart back.

After 2 years, we even planned a trip together overseas.
I can see that the relationship getting closer
She replied my sms more, talked to me more, we meet each other more, we do things together alot more.
But sometimes, i felt that she's like ignoring me, ignoring my sms.
Sometimes when we go out, her brother will tag along

It's like she's giving good signals but also in the same time giving me the sign to not go after her

Should i just confront her for 'the talk' and confess to her again?
If this fails, then the overseas trip with her will be jeopardised

noob question here

for the past 4 years, i've been using the Asus EN8800GT, until yesterday, it decided to die off on me
(made my screen flicker, froze, buzzing on the speaker and dots all over the screen when playing ME)

so just wanna ask, what will be a reasonable replacement for it
(as in price, performance, quality)

i would prefer using Asus Geforce card

Weird Sound from Pc

So i got this problem in my pc

from time to time, it will emit this sound from the speaker like
"ke dung dong dong' like the sound of water finish going in the sink hole like that

at 1st i thought it was my e-mail sound finish updating but then, it wasn't

so like every 1 hour or so, the sound will come out

i have conducted search and scans with Avast and Malwarebytes, and they show nothing is infected and caught nothing?

does anyone knows about this sound?

Formatting and installling WXP

hello guys, i've been working on this pc for like 2 months and until now stil dunno what to do about it, if anyone knows how to fix it please kindly help me and share your knowledge

1. i have formatted and install windows xp for the 1st time, everything running smooth, then when i restart the pc, its like cannot boot from the hd or cd-rom or anything else, but when i check, the windows xp is still inside the hd, it just that the pc can't detect the HD

2. so i decided that the hd rosak, so i put another HD inside, Sata 1 80g, then i try and install xp again, this time, it cannot auto detect the HD, even in bios settings, there's only Floppy, Network, and cd/dvd but no HD

3. then i reinsert the xp cd into it again, then this time, the monitor screen show, CANNOT DETECT BOOT MEDIA, and just stuck in the black screen doing the same action over and over again, 'TRYING TO BOOT FROM CD/ TRYING TO BOOT FROM FLOOPY

4. the cpu only got 1 cd rom, no floopy

5. is there anything wrong with the cable wiring or anything else? please help

as far as i know, the sata 1 hd only got 1 cables, the sata cable and the power cable

I got this printer Canon 255i, i dunno why when i print now, te words and pictures that print out got lines in the middle

like not full words if you know what i mean. like the word 'BABI SETAN' the got lines in between like no ink like that

my ink cartridge is full

therefore my question is

1. is it the ink-head problem?

2. maybe i use those non-original ink cart?

3. is this matter fixable?

4. any shop in low yat fix printer?

5. how much does this normally cost?

6. why does this happen?

anyways, my friend is using the same model and also the same ciplak ink cart, but he doesnt have any problem to this

now, i'm not some pc hardware pro who knows everything
i know absolutely nothing about pc hardware and stuff
the only thing i know is my graphic card is uses AGP slot

so the question is

1. this is my 3rd graphic card which is fried, is there anything i can do to prevent future frying of my graphic cards?

2. if i were to get a new GC, any recomendation for it, my bajet is 200-250?

3. i heard that Radeon fried fast and i got these graphic cards
a) ati radeon 9200 - burned, sent for warranty in low yat 4 years ago until now stil havent come back
b) ati radeon 9550 - fried too
c) GeForce 7200 - i think its fried cause when i play WoW, lasers starts shooting outta everything on screen

4. in the event if i really wanna get a new GC, any recomendation for honest vendor in Low Yat?
-previously when buying that time they promise u the world, but then after u bought the item, they ask u to go suck c*** elsewhere. i dunwanna be a victim of noob-slaughtering
