Hi all,

I'm a foreigner working here under talent pass and my wife holding dependent pass would like to start small scale online retailing business at home. When checking with SSM, foreigners can't register for Sole proprietor or enterprise. Can i get advise how she can do her business legally and more importantly she needs a bank account (current) to carryout transactions.

Thanks,
Sri

New car vs used car

Hi all,

I am in dilemma to decide new honda city vs 2016 old. New one cost me around 84k for V version and 2016 V model for 55k. This is my friend selling his car as he is moving out and ran just 20K KM. No issues with car.

Considering loan interst, car depression and other factors which option would have good return value. Say, planning to sell after 5 years. I am an Expat and shortlisted city for comfort and resale value. Is this a good deal?

Thanks,
Sri

Small scale ecommerce - registration

Hi all,

I'm a foreigner and work here under "Talent pass visa".My wife doing E-commerce (Drop shipping type - buy in india loose and sell here) business and sell via Facebook. Would like to get your thoughts on below queries,

- Should she register with SSM and get a bank current account for transactions? What is the process, checklists and eligibility ?

- Currently as she don't have a bank account, payments from her customers gets in to my salary account, which is like 20 transaction per month - total average 700 RM. Is this legal or please provide how we do this legally?

- She buy clothes from India via International courier and sell here via online. She don't have purchase invoice from India and so how can she prove her taxable income? Say, Bought a cloth in India for 30 RM, spent 10RM for Int.courier, and sold here for 50 RM. As she don't have receipt for 30 RM & 10 RM and 50RM credited in my account - how can i prove my profit is 10RM and that's my taxable income to government.

Thanks in advance

TIME block Google DNS

Hi Guys,

I have TP link C1200 model and TIME broadband. I need to access streaming sites from India and other countries. These sites are geo restricted, meaning can't access outside that country. I can use either VPN or smartdns to bypass the geo restrictions. I went with smartDNS option and set those DNS in router - worked perfectly.

My issue is with chromecast which always sends request to router tobuse google dns. I need option in rouer to block Google dns so router always uses the ones i set.

I tried adding Google dns in static route option but not blocking. I did not see firewall option in this router.

Help guys.. Thanks
