Electricity Consumption - Water Heater

Hi all.

I need some clarification on the electricity consumption for water heater at my condo. Of recent, I noticed from the TNB app, my daily usage bill seems to keep increasing everyday. It is worrying, eventho my usage is pretty much the same. I have little appliances in the house.

One of the possible culprit that I suspect is the water heater. I don't know how to describe the type but my unit uses (I believe) the central water heating - where I have to turn on the switch outside of the toilet to get the hot water.

Now, my question is:

1. Do I turn ON only when I'm using it? Turn off after OR it is fine to leave it on (only turn off when away from home very long). Because I read somewhere, I can just leave it ON, because it only consume electricity when the shower is ON - when the water run thru the heating rod or something.

2. How do I figure out which type the condo is using? How do I check?

3. If turn off and on, will it use more electricity since it requires the water to be heated first?

I strongly believe other usage not effecting the bill - cause I only use 1 aircond with 1 hp at night for 7 hours. The rest is just fan, charging gadget, LED lights and fridge. Kitchen appliances rarely use.

Hi. Can I check if anyone knows if Hotlink Prepaid SIM card can be used with portable 5G modem?

I bought a u mobile prepaid SIM card and subscribed to plan with hotspot, it can’t be used. Been informed in another thread that u mobile prepaid can’t. So I wonder if Hotlink can?

Bankruptcy and Car Loan Related

I need some advise. (Those work in banks or related expert are welcome to give me some answer)

Let say I own a car that I've been paying from day 1 but this car is under one of my family member's name (let say my brother). My brother is doing his own business, and due to unforeseen circumstances and bad economy, the business can't no longer run and he has now a lot debt with the bank that he can't afford to pay. His name is at jeopardy and bank is proceeding with legal action since he is the company director. Eventually, he might faces bankruptcy.

Now the question is, will it affect the car I am using under his name? Understand the bank will go after his assets, but for car, my thought it's a liability. Will the bank 'tarik' the car even there is NO default in the payment. I've been paying every month without miss. Or the bank won't tarik the car as long as there's payment made?

If it will affect, is it better for me to refinance under someone's name to avoid in case the bank will repossess the car?

Need some serious answer. Thanks!

Hi All Sifu. Anybody can help to clarify my question I have about Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 - One off purchase.

I plan to buy the one-off purchase for my Mac.

My question is:

Let say after I install it on my Mac, and later on I formatted, sell of get a new Mac, can I still use the License I bought? What is the steps?

Because it says 1x one-off purchase for 1 PC or Mac
