Do you get your payslip every month?

I joined my present employer in Dec 2011.

A few days ago, I got my 2nd salary as an advance due to the CNY festive season.

But I have not received my payslip for December.

No idea what my deductions are, because for Jan 12, based on payroll.my, my take home pay does not correlate.

I've asked some of my colleagues, some said they've not received their payslips for 4-6 months (wtf?).
Shouldn't the company as a matter of respect to employees provide their payslips on time?

Also, shouldn't a payslip be provided as mandatory?

For the following reasons:

1) Accountability, that the money flowing out from company is entering the employees hands and to relevant deductions stated in labour law
2) Transparency, that everything deducted and/or added is stated clearly, including the bank, EPF, SOCSO accounts and tax file registration
3) As a relevant document for the employee to file tax, open relevant credit accounts, overseas visas, etc.

I am sure there are other reasons, but the 3 are the most obvious.

In my previous employment, I always got payslips around 1 week before or after payday.
It also serves as a good reference for myself, to keep reminding me that I need to save for old age.

What are your views?

Asus P5Q Pro Multiple Issues

About 3+ Months back my 1 year 5 month old P5Q failed.
Couldn't even turn on the computer, internal LED on, power button wouldn't work.

Sent the Mobo back for RMA, service took 2 months to repair the mobo.
Got it back, but it was not fully repaired.

I now have this issue.

1 USB port at the back isn't working.

Device manager - 'Unknown USB device'
Inside bios thumbdrive inserted into that port won't detect (I tested this using EZFlash, all other ports work for EZFlash).

When I connect anything to it in windows, it won't power up/detect.

If transferring files to thumbdrive/external HDD on other ports, the computer will sometimes BSOD.

Cannot automatically boot up again - power on, black screen, no Post bios.

Power off, power cable unplug, battery out for 10min.
Power on, boots post.

If I attempt to transfer files again to USB device, sometimes there will be BSOD, sometimes not.
But if it BSOD, I have to redo the steps above again.

I have tried uninstalling USB drivers/reinstalling;
I have tried flashing bios to 2 different versions;

As a last resort, I attempted a complete re-format.
Still have "Unknown USB device"

Is this a chipset problem?

If RMA back again, is there anything else I must check? Because I have RMAed before and they didn't seem to do a good job, and it took 2 months to get my mobo back on the first RMA.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
