Resell value of a Car

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a car either Renault, Peugeot, or Subaru. However I was told that the resell value of the car is very bad and not advice to buy such car.

For me, I am looking to use the car for a period of 9 years or more.

So my question is, would the resell value matters to my case? Or why is it matter to so many other people?

There is a big peace of land opposite of Pavilion Bukit Jalil is being developed, anybody has got any idea what is it?
