getting a mail from a bank every month

since moving to this house (which i bought from the previous owner), I've been receiving this particular physical mail from a bank.

at 1st since the recipient is not myself so didnt bother to look through even thou its been coming like, every month.

so end up i open the latest one and have a look. it turn out to be a mail from bank , chasing the previous owner to pay up their balance (seems like their loan last payment, around rm600) , that they owe to the bank for their house loan.

im kinda surprise since during the ownership transfer, what im been told is the previous owner done pay all for their house loan. hence there is no any problem when doing the name transfer, getting the starta title and all.

so my concern now is , will this house loan balance affect me in any way ? i mean, technically owner is me but the previous balance of their house loan still theirs, the previous owner, so in no way im going to be held responsible for their loan, right?

should i reply to the mail, and inform the bank that the person they looking for is no longer here ?

this issue solve after change to another router which i bought my self (asus brand).
suggest if anyone is facing similar issue, swap the router and test.
mine is confirm router issue. bought a asus router and issue gone.

BUT STILL, a customer should not have to go through all these : back & forth calling Maxis support + self research + self buy router, seriously, are Maxis expecting everyone to go and buy their own router???

TLDR:

# Maxis fiber internet connection keep on disconnected randomly for no reason.
# this internet dc issue can be notice on both WIFI and LAN connected device.
# when change back to unifi router and modem, all is good.
# tried every thing to solve maxis random dc issue, no result.

hi all ,anyone experiencing random internet lost when using Maxis Fiber broadband ?

i switch from unifi 30m to maxis 30m, initially some hiccups happen but was fixed after calling the Maxis tech (thanks maxis tech guys). but then i notice the internet is not stable at all since it will lost internet randomly.

this is frustrating since even thou it happen randomly, but it happen in a very consistent fasion.

this kind of internet lost is very noticeable, especially during online game session. the entire game session will lost when this happen, and for most cases not able to reconnect.

same thing when browsing website. when click to open a site, you will notice the site is not loading at all, and at that moment, when check the task bar at the lower right, you will notice the red "X" at the network icon which indicate the internet is lost. the internet will recover after a few second.

initially suspect the LAN cable or Network adapter is at fault, but this is not the case for my side because when the internet is lost, it happen at both devices that connect to WIFI and LAN device. i know the internet is lost at the device that connect to wifi as well cuz i install app to do ping at my android device.

when the internet is lost, both LAN and WIFI connected device will get ping error "General failure." or "Request timed out.", this will happen for like a few second, then the internet will be back again.

true enough, when revert back to Unifi hardware, all is good and not a single "General failure" or time out error from the ping result (LAN connected PC). WiFi wise very little packet lost, way lesser when compare to the time connected to Maxis. hence the entire issue pointing back to either the ISP (Maxis) which i have no idea what happen over there, or their provided hardware (modem or router) have some kind of serious issue.

i fully aware that my area's intra is not that great(old flat), hence im not even expecting full 30mbps speed. But heck, constant internet disconnect is a big no no for me, even if Im not using the internet for gaming.

anyone have any kind of solution on this ? i seriously doubt change to a better router will help.
do let me know if any of you have solution for this. thanks in advance.

i did call the Maxis SC and get some tech support for this but their solution not really solving the internet lost issue. will keep this maxis for another few day for testing purpose, mostly might end up returning it due to the constant random internet lost, which is a shame since Maxis offer better download and upload speed at a lower price.

Maxis provided router is confirm rubbish tier hardware.

gonna un-sub my unifi in this coming few days, is good to have you all this while.

i not sure if any user or post ever mention this in Lowyat forum, or this only happen to the new maxis home fiber user.

i decide to take Maxis since it offer lower fee compare to unifi. all is good when looking at the package, no limit no quota and with unlimited call, which is almost the same as my current Unifi package (minus the HypeTV which i never use).

but unfortunately not all is sun shine and rainbow for maxis. after install the maxis modem and router today, i notice my Facebook or Lowyat forum cannot load correctly at my Chrome.

1st time when testing with Maxis contractor, all is ok during the 1st load of FB or lowyat page, but after they left, when i refresh and attempt to open FB or lowyat, these page cannot load correctly.

it will load some wordings but the format of the page is totally off. pictures cannot load at all.
for FB same thing happen, pic or video cannot load at all. the entire page will look blank, with wordings only.

but all is good when try open these site with Firefox, which i did not install Adblock addon.

hi guys, my area is kinda "panas", from the group whatsapp, due to some reason , two ex5 ady lost , and now have case where people steal motor part....

this really worry me if i upgrade to a new bike (lets say something like ninja 250 or versys x), really worry the chance to be targeted if park a brand new motor at open area.

anyway to protect the bike at open area , other than not buying the bike ?

hi all, just wanna ask if there is anything to take note when attempt to visit my previous primary school (20 + years ago)

i cant really remember much of my teachers name (if they still there), nor if i still have any contact over there (most of them lost contact).

i not there to donate money or contribute stuff , so is it ok if i just go in there , tell the guard i previously study here , and wanna go in for a quick visit , and if possible , get some food from canteen for nostalgic sake ?

people argue the quality of recent phone photo quality VS dslr/mirrorless

but yet, even thou recent phone camera is very good, we all know that it is not fair to compare a multi function device to a specific purpose device such as dslr.

so here's the question: IF given the budget, lets say around rm4000 , how will you spend your budget ?

there was this item that the bad guy use in the end climate part, where its like a bomb that will wipe out the entire game world if used...

WHAT THE ACTUAL FXXK that such item exist in the 1st place?

i mean, come on, that bomb is a purchasable item in the game's shop, that can be bought by anyone with the right amount of coin? really?? without worry that player will abuse that shxt ?

i tried Pepper Lunch for the sizzling hot plate beef and salmon that one, but meat/salmon portion freaking little.

then dinner try Souper Tang, then after makan i feel like kena Tang (chop).

freaking small porridge with little to no stuff in it cost 20+, what da fuk???

tempat high keras but food shxtbrick, even my area road side stall also sell better soup and porridge than the souper tang ..... puiiiii no next time...

wandering around sunway pyramid and looking for a place for dinner.

since flen not feeling well, so decide this restaurant for some soup and porridge....

BUT MY GAWD what a terrible decision!!

they serve tiny porridge that size of a small mug, but cost around rm16 !! and yet, the name of the porridge is so atas but yet the ingredient inside is cheapo stuff !!! FUUUUUU!!!!

their two person soup is small portion as well, inside the soup they put not much stuff and try to cover it with cheap ingredient !!!

so much for eating at orang atas place puiiii , no more next time
