Hi all, I’ve a question

1 year away from malaysia for study so I’ve no idea what’s the latest covid measures as of now. Do I need to quarantine upon arrival at airport since I fall under partially vaccinated status (2 doses sinovac). I plan to take my booster same day when I reach here but this quarantine really necessary? Assuming I got RTPCR negative.

Problem is they don’t give out vaccines to international students so I’ve no choice but to come back Malaysia to get my boosters. The main problem here is quarantine issues (it’s wasting my time and I developed moderate trauma from quarantine)

JPJ launch e-testing from April 2022 onwards

PUTRAJAYA: Those intending to take their driving licences from April may do so through the automated driving test or “e-testing”, says Road Transport Dept (JPJ) director-general Datuk Zailani Hashim.

"The system is currently undergoing trials and is expected to be launched in April.

"Those taking their driving test through the system will be able to get their results immediately as the tests will be conducted in real time.

"This will speed up the process tremendously compared to the previous two-week waiting time for test results," he told reporters after delivering his New Year message to JPJ officers here on Monday (Jan 17).

He added that the system would also help reduce the need for JPJ personnel to be present at driving tests.

"At present, six to seven JPJ officers are needed to evaluate drivers when they take their driving tests.

"With e-testing, we will reduce this to two or three officers.

"This will allow the department to utilise the extra manpower for enforcement and other work," he said.

He added that the e-testing system will be based on the current six-point physical driving test.

"Those tested will have to perform tasks such as parking, driving uphill and making a three-point turn, but through simulations," he said.

The system will be implemented gradually with the 232 driving schools nationwide free to take up the e-testing application from service providers.

On a separate matter, Zailani said JPJ was carrying out advocacy with the Road Safety Department to engage p-hailing companies and educate delivery riders on safety.

He noted that there were frequent instances of delivery riders running a red light while making deliveries.

"They are pressed for time and don't care," he said.

He noted that when JPJ conducted Ops Merah late last year to target errant delivery riders, some 2,500 summonses were issued for those who ran the red light.

It was reported that there were 3,118 road deaths involving motorcyclists in 2020, more than 60% of the total 4,364 fatal accidents.

On revenue, Zailani said JPJ managed to collect RM4bil last year.

"It's considered a miracle what we achieved considering the Covid-19 pandemic, year-end floods and discounts given on summonses," he noted.

He said the department had set a revenue collection target of RM4.12bil this year.

1) Hi, I want to ask what’s the latest JPJ car tint VLT for windshield, driver, passenger window and rear window because it keeps changing from time to time. I plan to tint my car next week

2) how much would it cost for a quality tint nowadays? Preferably price range around kl/selangor. I heard some brand like 3M got UV rejection film?

Expansion of land for parking

Do we need authorities approval if I plan to expand a small piece of land just opposite my house for my carpark use?

If yes, who and how do I get permission?
Is there any other things I should know dealing with this?

Suitable tyre for Exora

Really need help here..... Which is the best tyre for Proton exora. As in minimum width and size.

Currently using Goodyear tyre..

1) Last December tyre puncture because swollen on left hand side. No choice change tyre.

2) 26 March, tyre puncture again. Lucky beside small road.

3) just now went to pump petrol realized puncture AGAIN. Cannot find any nails or sharp objects.

Any mechanic can suggest a good one?

Need to change it ASAP

So as usual I signal to the left. Then look at side mirror see got car or not before changing lane. This taxi was 2-3 cars gap far. Once I signal, taxi driver speed up and I was switching lane. Mader almost hit my car. Few cm only.

Nvm. I let him go first. KAOW. He pointed middle finger and ‘diao’ me. Weih I signal dy and you speed up when you’re so far away. Who’s fault now still want to road bully me.

These few months ayam burn midnight oil cuz need to finish up assignments and other stuffs. So I slept quite late around 2-3am like that. Everyone slept already

As usual surfed internet for awhile with lights off before sleep. Suddenly my room air-cond controller “beep” twice.
I was shocked cuz ayam’s air-cond controller hung on the wall and no one touched it at that time.

So ayam immediately switch off the phone, stay cool and walked towards the controller. Threw the controller away and covered myself from head to toe with blacket. Dk what happen after that.

Is this normal? Dun scare me

Ayam everyday makan at hawker stalls. Cuz ayam poor fag. Ayam’s fren said hawker stalls very dirty. What do fellow /k think about the food and cleanliness?
