Claim home insurance for windstorm

I would like to ask whats the procedure to claim berjaya sompo home insurance because of windstorm?..

My house roof came off during rain n wind this evening .. i call the call centre bt then they off work at 5pm.

I dun think i can wait till mon call and then oni fix my roof as over weekend cud b rain and my roof is jz opened and bare..

Tmrw the contractor coming to see.. bt im worried if fix already later berjaya sompo say cannot claim..

So how.. what shud i do now..

Hi all sifu in cars.. im currently thinking to change my car. Am thinking to get either bmw x1 or mercedes gla .. bt.. am not quite sure which is better?.

I wud need this to ferry my family as in my kids n parents.. budget wise, ive actually enquired brand new bmwx1 yr 2020 (with the tax holiday) is at rm203k.. i din check out mercedes yet bt i see online its about rm200k

Am also thinking to buy new or 2nd hand.. new will have guarantee for 5 yrs, if buy 2nd hand like if can find yr 2019 still can have guarantee for 4 yrs.. seems good deal aso??.

Am gonna go to auto bavaria tmrw to check out their 2nd hand range.. my dad friend jz purchased his 2nd hand 3 series was very satisfied..

On the other hand, if i were to go with japanese car like crv o cx5 not exactly my dream car bt i cud get it new and wud have more cash in hand (no need to pay so much installment)..

So whats d advice?.. im so confused myself also. Am not in desperate neeeed to change bt my current car is serving me 8 yrs d. Actually still good and can move frm 1 place to another lah. Bt u know.. its 8 yrs d..

Also i am very careful when driving which means i dun like to keep changing cars cuz the estimation on parking and all have to adjust .. so which one can last me long long long time. Like my current japanese brand car can tahan so long..

I would like to ask opinions on my job interview. I was recommended by my friend to her boss to fill a position. So i jz had a casual interview over lunch with the hiring manager.

The interview was months ago.. then last week the hiring manager texted me asking if im still interested and i said yes. Then hr contacted me and asking me to provide certificate and do some online test.. submit wrriten essay and lotsa documents like personal details.

My question is... did i actually get the job if hr is asking me to submit certificates?.. i have never met hr for all this while.. and now oni submitting forms etc.. if lets say the hiring manager is ok with me but if hr isnt.. does hr have the rights to reject me?.. its been 7 yrs since i went for interview and all.. i remember the correct flow is tht i should meet hr and hiring manager first. Then 2nd interview with hod then oni get called for letter offer. Something like tht. Bt this round for me its not following the normal flow cuz i was recommended for this position.

I desperately wanted this job cuz it means extra money so am rili hopeful for it.

Did it mean i got it?.. the online accessment has some mathematical question and it was damn tough.. am worried if i failed cud it mean i busted my chance to join?..
Am in banking and finance industry.....

Problems in marriage

Ive been angry with my husband of 7 yrs due to him constantly expecting me to foot most big bulky bills and being very calculative. I have 2kids aged 6 and 3..

So we bought a new hse last yr.. the loan is solely under my name as i took my staff loan.. yes we both are working in bank.. his staff loan is not enuf as his salary doesnt justify the amt we borrow.. so we had arguements prvsly bt it has been settled.. every month he pays me half of the installment.

So now it is undergoing reno.. i transferred rm50k to him for renovation. Im nt sure if he really use his money to put into the reno fund or solely used my money bt now reno half way nt enuf money.. he is askin me to clear off reno bill which outstanding of rm33k.. in my bank acc i can cover jz tht i dun feel right and not fair as he is not going to foot a single cent and jz said no money.. i asked him i can clear this balance bt he has to buy the new furnitures.. water heater n appliances bt he fiercely say no. Not going to pay for those. Im thinking why i need to pay so Much while he sit bck n wait for nice hse to stay..

Yes im earning more then him bt i dun gt the luxury of reaching home at 6pm .. i work my ass off kena scold frm customer.. frm boss.. see everybody's face in office and come bck to face this fella who undeniably makes me feel he feeds off me.. and he does expect me tp pay keeps saying if u got why cant u pay.. i do compare him against my dad and my bro who never once thought of asking their wife to foot any bills .my bro hse also under reno now and he is paying everything.. my dad is sole breadwinner and he buys and pays for everything too!!.. of cuz i wud b angry why im married to such fella who jz one word .. no money and i have to shoulder.. it makes me feel unsecure..

Even last yr.. my birtbday i asked if he gonna giv me any present the ans is WHY SHUD I.. then mother's day dun even wanna bring me for dinner to appreciate me.. ive asked for divorce involving my parents bt them being d conservative parents keep saying think for ur kids.. on d other hand ive been thinking i might really jz be better off without him. Im paying my expenses myself and with my salary i can bring up my kids.. the only worry i have is on my kids emotional side.. they wont have a complete family..

Bt .. i really think the more i foot bills and shoulder stuff the more angry i gt and felt unfair.. am so angry thinking of it.. and am starting to have thoughts tht if i leave this fella now i may still meet a better fella next time who loves me .. my kids and is generous... im 34 this yr so i still have long way ahead.. nt sure if i cud stand my current husband any longer..

paint entire place

I would like to know whats the estimated costs to repaint an entire place of 1110sqft condo.. 3bedroom + small portion of the kitchen. Toilets will need to paint the ceiling.

My existing contractor is charging me RM 1500 for work itself as im buying the paint, 2 roller & the 2 board used for the roller. . I wanted to buy the paint because i want to lower down the costs bt then seems like still so expensive so need to ask some sifu here izzit the market price or not.

Cny... ive always hated cny after married cuz my family in law is seriously.... terrible nt to mention my husband is always siding them..

To begin with its been many years since i celeb cny with in laws.. this yr is most hebat.. on 1st day of cny mil says dun throw rubbish till 3rd day of cny.. im like wtf.. mind u i have babies pampers thrown.. we cook so food scarp also in d rubbish bin.. i jz loudly say to mil dun listen so much this crappy cny stories.. nt throwing the rubbish is not gonna make u any richer ( they say x throw rubbish as it symbolizes ur money going out/away).. and the stupid thing is my husband wanted to follow.. omg.. money x come bt sickness, diseases, lizards n cockroaches will come.. i hv kids and baby in d hse how can so dirty 1.. tot my husband is educated bt acting like his uneducated mother.. in the end i scolded my husband throw d rubbish myself.. sweep n mop d floor despite d day being 1st day od cny..

Then 2nd day cny.. went to his relative hse in kampung.. kampung hse sure dirty bit but they jz let the dog sit in walk around in d hse.. its nt those expensive groomed dog.. the dog is those watch dog no breed ones nt everyday bath ones.. sitting together with us in d hall and when we had dinner it came n wanted to eat with us.. omg.. can u imagine its like rili staying in d dog hse liddat.. and me having bad eczema it flared up d next day.. soo itchy.. and my son skin also started to flare up.. how can such ppl b soooo dirty is outta my mind..

Today.. lagi best.. sil put her stuff in d porch so i ask my husband jz now whose one is this?.. my husband with irritated tone n face say u dun bother la jz leave it there.. then sil started to fight with me say its mine put there cannot ah.. all these yrs she put her unwanted stuff here n i have to clean up for her as in throw it away.. the most hated is she said this is my mom hse i can put anything i liked..yes and im damn pissed i allowed this to happen n ppl telling me this..last time b4 married i was naive to think all will go well when Mil say u can stay here (mil has another hse so not staying together).. im angry cuz i nyself have 2 houses rented and was thinking i cud gt rental and stay for free.. yes its my mistake for lettin this happen and i regret it big time..

I hate tht sil of mine as she always make it like she is d boss cuz im staying in their property.. this feeling is diff to describe bt to cut short its like the saying 1 mountain x have 2 tigers..

Im thinking i jz dun wanna celeb 9th day of cny with them anymore as i felt husband nt supoortive n the fanily in law all will come over everybody like party n will jz leave after dinner or next day.. nobody will cleanup d mess and usually its me who will cleanup..

Arrgh.. im so angry and i always ask myself why i married this man and his family.. i cud b much better off without them..
Let jz say if u were in my position which wud u do

1. Complain to mil tht sil has mentioned hurtful words and set her expectations tht i wont b joining them for 9th day cny.. i have 3 sil and the youngest is here.. the other 2 more also teruk all will gang up against me 1..

2. On 9th day cny go bck my own mom hse stay till they leave bt will create lotsa stories for all those bi*ches to talk during cny.. ive done it b4 also i left them during cny went bck my mom hse (even though mom hse got nobody all went overseas holiday).. and then behind my back they stab me like crazy and all bi*tch bout me .. i know it.. ive overheard my mil telling sil tht im self centered when i jz love my personal time.. peace n quiet..

3 stay on till after the 9th day of cny n fight with husband after tht.. cuz i have gotten 3rd hse which i purposely buy for this reason tht i x wanna celeb cny or any festives with them anymore.. mil says after we shift they will either sell or rent out the current place tht we r living.. so... if they come to my own hse and do all the above mentioned stuff im gonna flip table which i can foresee moving on wud b tough.. my son love to play with his cousins.. bt on the ither hand its so suffocating to endure sil words.. i did exchange words wit her bt im controlling bt she doesnt seem to be which i thn tot why shud i ..

unit leaking

Hello all,

I hope that somebody can help refer some experts for my issue.

Started in mid 2017 whereby my unit owner below complain got leaking issue and then i have engaged my contractor to rectify it. Contractor has 2 parts that he did.. one is the pipe leaking at 2nd bathroom and another leaking in master bedroom..

That time, in the master bedroom the contractor dig out all my tiles and searched for the issue, settle and closed everything back. Then i gotten the management technician to check and confirm no more leaking so i did paint 2 times for the unit below. First time he say still got stain so my contractor went and scrap everything and paint for him 2nd time.. then i tot all settle already..

Suddenly in Dec the unit below msg me and said master bedroom leaking again.. im like OMG!!!.. now management is sending me email saying the lower unit leaking is because of water leaking from my unit. This time i am definitely reluctant to go and dig all my tiles again and engaged contractor again.. Its freaking expensive as i paid RM2k last time..

I dont want to pay again and later do again leaking again.. how many times do i need to do this.. Hence, i want to know how can i prove that it could be the structure having leaking??... it wouldn't be fair to keep opening my tiles and the mgmt jz brush it off as my unit issue... this thing will keep coming back...

Is there any governmental personnel that i can engage (without cost) to help me check if it is really my unit or not?... im sooooo sick of this problem unable to sleep well ...or is there anybody that can really help me solve this issue and confirm it is not my unit?...

Really need help here..
