Zest Card (Discount Card)

Hey guys,

I really need opinion regarding Zest Card since I have to give my approval by 6 PM today. As for me, it's a good discount card, but since I have to pay 1 time RM488 handling/registration/bla bla bla etc etc fees, I wanted to make sure that It's worth it.

Anyone have experience using it? Glad if could share. Thanks

[WTA] Vista and Internet connection

Hai,

Recently I have new housemate and he's using laptop with vista. All other PC at our home using XP. I've noticed, everytime he restart and shut down his laptop, the LAN connection will disconnected (and obviously the internet too). Now it's getting worse, almost every 10 minutes it will happen. I can't play games, can't surf with ease.

I really no idea how to solve it. Thanks.

I'm using Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2 motherboard, and I want to upgrade my RAM to Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 PC2-8500 1066MHz 2GB Kit [2X1GB]

Hai all,

I'm getting a new GC which is XFX GeForce 8800GS XXX Alpha Dog and currently I'm using Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2 motherboard.

The question I had in mid is, as stated at the spec of my GC, the interface is PCI Express 2.0 x16, while for my motherboard it only stated that 1 PCI Express x 16 slot.

1) Are they the same? PCI Express 2.0 x16 & PCI Express x 16 slot?

2) Can my mobo support the GC?

3) If can't, what kind of mobo that support it?

Hai all,

Currently I'm using GC Asus NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS (256 MB) with AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ on Gigabyte M61PME-S2 and I would like to upgrade my GC. Any recommendation? I'm looking for a GC that 1 step higher from the one I'm using at the moment.

Another thing, If I change it to another GC that 1 step higher than my current GC, will my mobo and proc able to handle it?

Sifus in here, kindly share your knowledge.

MS Office 2003 error

[WTA] Missing Windows file, unable to boot

Hai,

I have a Dell Latitude D400 who failed to boot due to error "Corrupted or Missing Windows file \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM". It happened yesterday after I turn off the laptop and this morning, BOOM! error.

I've run a Diagnostic and returned an Error Code : 1000-0146

My question

1) How can I solve this problem without having to re-format?
2) Other solution?

[WTA] Samsung LCD failed to "auto-config"

Before this, I'm using VGA (analog) for my Samsung LCD. However, yesterday I changed to DVI )digital). The problem now, I can't use the "auto-config" button. It come with an notification something like "Auto-config is not available now" sort of. During the time I used VGA, it can.

My question is,

1) Is this normal?
2) If it's not, how to configure it?

Ks`Xiaogui: My name is Lee Wen Chek a.k.a Ks`Xiaogui. I'm the spokesperson and the captain of Kingsurf and I'm 19 years old.

Iblis: How was Kingsurf formed?
Ks`Xiaogui: This team actually been around in the DotA scene in Malaysia for quite sometimes. The current Kingsurf team that you see now consist of 3 old Kingsurf team members (Ks`Ice, Ks`X|aOma and myself) and 2 ex-Webster players (Ks`Papaxiong & Ks`Yamateh). Basically, we're all real-life friends who love to hang out together and have fun.

Iblis: What are Kingsurf starters? What's their role on the team?
Ks`Xiaogui: As you can see, we don't have any benchwarmers. For roles, to be honest, all the Kingsurf players are able to play any heroes. We don't stick to any particular heroes. We switch roles in most of our matches. Still, in general I can say that Ks`Ice is our main support players with heroes such as Warlock and Slayer. Ks`Yamateh on the other hand is our ace star player with his trademark hero, Nevermore. This guy seriously able to farm like np. None of us can beat him in term of farming ability. The rest of us mainly use any heroes that fit to the lineups and strategy. Ks`Papaxiong usually do the shouting/talking.

Iblis: What is Kingsurf achievement so far?
Ks`Xiaogui: Too much to recall, but during the last 2 month we've been doing great in the local DotA competitive scene and won 3 LAN tournament which is R-Matrix DotA Tournament, The SMM National Grand Final, and the latest one was Surf Empire DotA Tournament. We managed to be in the top-16 for the MYM Pride #7.

Iblis: How do you rate your team compare to other Malaysian teams and even the rest of the international teams?
Ks`Xiaogui: In Malaysia DotA scene, I can probably say that we're among the best now. However, with the top international teams, the skills gap still there and we're narrowing it day by day.

Iblis: Do you remember your favorite game? If so, could you tell us a little about it?
Ks`Xiaogui: Yes, that should be the semi-final of SMM National Grand Final against Cybertime-RoA. The match really test our skills, teamwork and coordination to the maximum as Cybertime-RoA is not an easy prey. They showed us what's 2 years of experience together can really do. Despite of their lead in the total K/D score, we managed to win the game with better strategy and tactics.

Iblis: Papaxiong, you guys did well for the MYM Pride #7 with top-8. Where do you see Kingsurf in MYM Pride #8?
Ks`Papaxiong: Well, all I can say is that we'll be better this time. Mark my words. The quarter-final match against eMg really taught us something valuable, and believe me it won't happened again. We're stronger and more focus for this MYM Pride #8.

Iblis: Congratulation on your first win over Mineski on the regular season match of Asian DotA Championship (ADC). Which team(s) that you think will be a threat to Kingsurf in ADC?
Ks`Papaxiong: There's only 2 teams that really can give us a tough time. That should be Zenith from Singapore and XcN from Indonesia.

Iblis: How about China representative team, EHome?
Ks`Papaxiong: Not yet watch their replays, but we're confident to beat them even though they defeated World Elite in the China Final qualifier. No problem.

Iblis: Any last shoutouts?
Ks`Xiaogui: Shoutout to all Malaysia DotA teams who we meet in the tournaments, it's really nice to meet you guys. Not to forget, to all LAN organizers and sponsors. Last but not least, to all DotA enthusiast and fans out there. Keep 'em coming!
