The decision to deeply integrate BN and pander to their voter base has backfired badly and led to PH downfall in all 3 by erections.

Not just either PKR/DAP/Amanah, all should roll, because of a simple reason, the decision to be lovey dovey with BN is made collectively, either of the parties could have u-turned any moment, but they didn't, they all died on the hill. ICYMI, 4 years ago, Anthony Loke say he will bear "historical responsibility" for working with UMNO and self nerfing to only 4 Minister posts despite 40 seats to appease "to whom it may concern", marking the beningging of "Asal bukan PAS" era. https://m.malaysiakini.com/news/647362

The bending over backwards appeasement didn't just stop there, he was willfully blind to the wrongdoings of "to whom it may concern" faction a la see no evil speak no devil ostrich head in sand style. That is not even the worse, he advocated for and executed policies that benefit the ones that voted against him at the expense of his core voter base. His rhetoric has always revolved around "don't rock the boat" since.

Now despite him dragging DAP direction in "be patient, trust the process" approach, Sabah still faced faced humiliating wipeout, then Johor followed suit. Imo, crack already started showing during when Anthony led DAP led Gelakan wrestled back 1 seat in Kedah state assembly where gelakan was kept at zero during LGE-led DAP era. But in his defense, he can claim that he just took over DAP for 1 year, Kedah machinery still carry over from LGE era, but can you really say the same for Sabah and Johor? Regardless of whatever culminated, life goes on for him, just another Tuesday pretend nothing ever happened.

So on hindsight, is he really not eunuch like Neville Chamberlain? Am I wrong about him, is he not licking and pandering hard enough, he should have doubled down even more? Or those "extremist" backbencher/non MP like LGE, Tony Pua, Teresa Kok, Yeo Bee Yin etc "ruin his effort", by not toeing his line enough to "not rock the boat" by keeping their mouth shut? Should he have punished those "extremists" instead? Is he really not alienating his core voter base? Is he in or not in denial that perhaps his decisions were wrong?

Is it true that DAP under Loke leadership not gained anything in return? Not all is bad under his tenure? Has DAP with him at helm gained any share of the "to whom it may concern" voter base he desperately tried to chase after? Or it's the core voters base fault instead, for being too tunnel visioned and patientless, failed to see his "vision" and "big picture"?

Am I prejudiced against him? He likes to vow to "take responsibility", but afterwards I don't see him changing his ways at all, let alone doing anything meaningful. So his "take responsibility" was nothing by hyperbole ambiguous empty words? Imo if this were to happen to any CEO of private for profit organization, he would have been pressured to resigned, but I kasi chan, if PKR erection loss to seat contested ratio much worse than DAP, BMX woso no resign, why would he, right?

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 — Motorists are voicing frustration over a sharp reduction in the speed limit on a relatively new ramp linking Jalan Tunku Kudin to the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway towards the Penang Bridge, with many claiming they have been caught by a speed camera after being given too little distance to slow down.

According to The Star the speed limit drops abruptly from 80km/h to 40km/h, triggering numerous speeding summonses, particularly for nearby residents and regular commuters.

Road users told the English daily that the short distance between the two speed limit signs leaves motorists with little time to decelerate safely, while sudden braking on the busy stretch increases the risk of rear-end collisions.

However, Penang police chief Datuk Dennis Lim Kwang Keng defended the enforcement, saying motorists must reduce their speed when approaching the sharp bend.

“It is a sharp curve, and motorists must reduce their speed. Vehicles risk skidding if they negotiate the bend too fast, particularly when the surface is slick during rainy weather,” he was quoted as saying.

Dennis also said any review of the 40km/h speed limit would require environmental, traffic and engineering assessments.

The issue has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with Facebook user Chan Lilian saying her husband received a speeding summons while riding his motorcycle along the stretch.

She said she later drove the route herself to see whether it was possible to slow to 40km/h by braking, but was still travelling at around 57km/h.

“The road slopes downhill; you simply cannot slow down that abruptly without risking being hit from behind,” she wrote on Facebook.

Seri Delima assemblyman Connie Tan Hooi Peng said she had received at least 10 complaints from constituents who described the speed limit as impractical.

She said she had inspected the site with a representative from the Northeast District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, as well as officials from the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) and the Public Works Department (JKR).

According to Tan LLM had explained that the 40km/h limit was based on the road’s engineering design, but she had requested the authority to review whether a more practical solution could be implemented.

She later said on Facebook that police speed enforcement at the location had been temporarily suspended while the relevant technical agencies carry out further assessments.
