Condition is 9/10. 8/10 if you count in the 3 dead pixels on the screen. Battery can last for >5 hours depends on your settings.

Warranty is now only valid for On Site Warranty till 2019. Warranty is registered in Malaysia. Transfer of ownership takes 10 days.

Ranger or Colorado?

I have been looking around for a pick-up truck and decided its time to make the change since Ford Ranger is about to be launch locally. As I was shopping around for alternatives, Chevy Colorado came into the picture and I love the spec it provided.

My question come down to this;

The all new Ford Ranger will have the drive by wire steering which will have a very light steering compared to the hydraulic ones. For a truck, should I go for the electric assisted*? I have test drive the pre-facelift Ranger and the steering feels well weighted.

I will have my mum (shes a big fan of high vehicles) to be my regular passenger and she usually prefer to seat at the rear. In between Colorado and Ranger, which have sufficient comfort? I do notice that Ford ones a bit bouncy due to the spring is good for hauling.

Lastly, fuel consumption comparing between 2.2L, 3.2L from Ranger XLT and 2.8L from Colorado. I was told that the Ranger 2.2 can have nearly a good 8L/100km.

Hope to get some solid input from current / past owners. If you have other option which you see that its worth for me to look into, do not hesitate to share as well!

Diameter difference question

Good day all,

The current ride uses 205/45/R17 tires and I am looking to downsize to 16" and the recommended tire size for it is 195/55/R16.

After some research and the availability of tires, I have to opt with 205/50/R16 but with a condition. There is a -0.86% of diameter difference and the speed reading will be 0.68% slower. My question is now that will it be a problem to the ABS settings and will it cause any significant issue to the brakes?

This is my first time on going out of the recommendation bracket. Would like to hear from those who have done so. Thanks!
