Hi all experts - I would like to seek some advice from you guys regarding opening a USD currency account.

Due to I have some stock investment in USD that I would like to transfer back to Malaysia, based on the info I found from internet, a USD currency account would give me some advantage in terms of exchange rate.

Could u guys advice me which bank is the best for this purpose? especially in terms of account maintenance fee, the exchange rate when convert from USD to MYR, and the ease of conversion/transaction through online, and interest?

how do i read this? the bigger the number the wider angle that i capture?

Hi all - Need some advice from property experts in this forum. I recently just sold my 1st house but got bullied by my lawyer, keep delaying payment. This is my mistake for choosing buyer side lawyer because of cheaper charges on lawyer fee, i will avoid this mistake next time. I would like to seek advice from u guys what i can do from my side to delay back or dragging the handover, i'm very pissed off now!

below are some chronology of the event

June 28th - Agree on purchase & receive 1% downpayment
July 15th - Buyer got loan approved and pass balance to lawyer, signed S&P

July 19th - I went to lawyer office & sign S&P for only 7% of remaining deposit (3% on hold by this lawyer so called need to clear tax exemption). After received the cheque, lawyer called and say she will cancel this cheque as i need to settle my maintenance fee until Nov!!!, feel got cheated to sign the S&P)

August 17th - after much follow up, finally i got my 7% deposit (nearly one month after i sign S&P)

August 26th - receive clearance letter from LHDN that no tax, called lawyer to chase for my remaining 3% deposit. She told me she's in Johor attending court case and all sort of excuses. Until now still keep delaying.

This lawyer is so fishy, im sure they are using the money for some other purpose.

what else can i do from my side?

Hi all brothers and sisters,

Need some advice from you guys

I just sold my house with S&P date of 8th July 2011, it was stamped on 15th July 2016.

However my lawyer on hold the 10% deposit paid by buyer claiming that they need to help me submit a waiver for RPGT.

But accordingly to S&P date, it is more then 5 years already right? when i ask they told me even after 5 years but as the date is quite close we still need to submit waiver.

Is it something fishy from this lawyer to hold my money?

I seriously need some advice from you guys. i'm concerned

Hi all,

I would like to consult all the expert here regarding how to get the best picture quality out from Astro?

I just install a Astro beyond and i was provided a HDMI cable for connection to my LED TV.

But i have heard somewhere that S video cable has better picture quality for Astro, however i do not have one with me right now to try out.

Could u guys advice me if i should proceed to purchase the S video cable to try out?
