Datuk Seri dodges bullets in gangland-style

A Datuk Seri businessman with suspected links to the criminal underworld was counting his blessings yesterday afternoon, having escaped with his life after being apparently targeted for a professional killing.

The Sun Daily reported that the 57-year-old man, who had previously been detained under Emergency Ordinance and was alleged to be one of the four underground “Heavenly Kings of Kuala Lumpur” , was with his bodyguards driving in a Toyota Vellfire into Kuala Lumpur.

The murder attempt unfolded as the man’s car approached the Jalan Loke Yew roundabout at 1.30pm and the gunmen opened fire from the flyover.

“His injuries were from the pieces of broken glass shattered by the gunshots,” said city Criminal Investigations Department (CID) chief SAC Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad.

According to the victim and his entourage, the bullets hit the body and windscreen of the car but did not strike anyone directly. His driver then raced the car to Cheras Police Headquarters, so the victim could lodge a report.

Zainuddin said the victim described the two suspects as wearing masks and escaping on a motorcycle, using a flyover heading towards Jalan Hang Tuah.

The same man was also the target of a murder attempt two years ago when a bomb planted underneath his car exploded. He escaped unharmed. – September 3, 2015.

Anwar Ibrahim menyifatkan surat tamat perkhidmatan yang dikeluarkan PKNS itu sebagai tidak sah.

PETALING JAYA: Menteri Besar Selangor Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim didesak supaya mengembalikan semula kedudukan asal Azmin Ali sebagai Ahli Lembaga Pengarah Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS).

Ketua Umum PKR Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim menyifatkan surat tamat perkhidmatan yang dikeluarkan PKNS itu sebagai tidak sah kerana tidak mengikut proses undang-undang yang betul.

Menurut Anwar, Pengurus Besar PKNS Othman Omar tidak ada kuasa untuk memecat atau melantik mana-mana individu sebagai ahli sebaliknya kuasa mutlak terletak ditangan Menteri Besar dan Exco.

“Berlaku percanggahan disitu.

“Nasihat saya kepada Khalid kedudukan Azmin harus dikekalkan kerana proses undang-undang tidak dipatuhi,” katanya dalam sidang media di Ibu Pejabat PKR di sini hari ini.

Setiausaha Kerja PKNS, Norita Mohd Sidek dilaporkan berkata, keputusan itu dibuat dalam mesyuarat Exco pada 13 November dan disahkan pada 4 Disember tahun lalu.

“PKNS ingin mengesahkan bahawa kami telah mengutus surat bertarikh 8 Januari 2014 kepada YB Mohamed Azmin Ali bagi memaklumkan bahawa tempoh jawatan beliau ditamatkan selaras dengan keputusan Mesyuarat Majlis Kerajaan Negeri (MMKN) Selangor pada 13 November 2013 dan disahkan oleh MMKN pada 4 Disember 2013.

“PKNS juga ingin memaklumkan bahawa kuasa melantik ahli perbadanan adalah di tangan MMKN (mesyuarat exco) dan bukan di tangan pengurus besar selaras dengan klausa 4(1) enakmen penubuhan PKNS,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan semalam.

Kenyataan itu bercanggah dengan penafian Khalid bahawa keputusan itu terletak d tangan Exco sebaliknya ia adalah arahan daripada Pengurus Besar PKNS sendiri.

Malah Anwar turut mengakui dirinya sebagai Penasihat Ekonomi Selangor juga tidak dimaklumkan mengenai perkara tersebut.

Pertemuan dengan Khalid

Sementara itu, Azmin ketika ditanya respon mengenai surat tersebut enggan mengulas lanjut sebaliknya mahu semua pihak mengikut arahan yang diputuskan parti.

“Penjelasan dibuat Anwar sudah cukup. Saya ingat perkara (kekeliruan) itu boleh ditamatkan dalam masa terdekat,” katanya.

Sehubungan itu, Anwar berkata pihaknya akan mengadakan pertemuan dengan Khalid dalam masa terdekat bagi membincangkan mengenai beberapa isu Selangor.

Antaranya isu air, kalimah Allah, kenaikan melampau kadar gaji Exco dan Speaker serta kenaikan kadar cukai lesen perniagaan oleh majlis perbandaran yang terlalu tinggi.

Mengulas mengenainya, Anwar berkata kerajaan Selangor tidak sepatutnya memberikan alasan kuasa eksekutif itu terpaksa mengikut garis pentadbiran kerajaan Barisan Nasional (BN) terdahulu.

“Alasan kerajaan negeri kata ia dibuat Khir Toyo. Kalau keputusan tak bijak kita perlu pinda. Semua keputusan lalu oleh BN yang mendera rakyat tak harus dipatuhi,” tegasnya.

Sementara itu, mengulas mengenai kalimah Allah, Anwar berkata Pakatan Rakyat tetap dengan pendiriannya sejak tahun 2010 dan menganggap isu Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS) itu sebagai tidak beretika.

“Isunya pasal etika. Mengenai pendirian sama ada boleh digunakan atau tidak itu sudah kita putuskan dan tidak akan berubah,” katanya.

hey everyone, i juz bought a LG GSA-H22N dvd burner. I installed it juz now and reboot my com, to my suprise there isn;t any display on the monitor, something like the display card isn;t generating any output to the monitor. Then i off my com and plug off the power supply to my dvd burner and reboot my com again, everything was loading normally and it get into windows like usual.

So i thought it could be the master and slave problem, so i set my burner into master and my dvd rom into slave, and the same problem comes up, i double check my connections again and everything, still couldn't solve the problem...so i decided to change back to my normal configuration (dvd rom as master, disconnect the burner) this time around the same problem happen...

So any sifu here has an idea on wat has happen to my com? I'm using Abit KN8 Ultra mb
