Hello all, I have a problem concerning my router and one of my notebooks.

This is the hardware involved:

Router: Linksys WRT54G version 7 (yes I know I got the sucky one >.>) with the latest firmware

Notebook: Dell XPS 1300 using Windows Vista and Intel Wireless 4950, updated to the latest driver

The notebook cannot connect to the router unless the router is reset (switched off/on). I have followed the guideline on this post but it doesn't help.

The notebook can see the wireless network but it cannot connect. Even with the correct password and diagnostics by Windows, it still won't connect to the router unless the router is reset.

Also, I noticed that it'll take about 24 hours before the notebook cannot connect to the network.

I did a hard reset (factory default) but it still doesn't help.

The problem cropped up shortly after I got home last Friday. Before this, the router will not refuse any connected device and only needs to be reset once in a while. Could my notebook (Dell Inspiron 6400 with Windows 7 beta) play havoc with the router?

There are no problems connecting to the router with other devices (Nokia E71 and my notebook).

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you very much.
