Biomedical Science or Medic

Hey guys just wanna ask is biomedical science is a wise choice now? Im planning to to take it in imu. Im form 5 this year and in subscience class andt i didnt take biology.

But doctor is my ambition since i was little and i love science. But i ended up choosing the wrong class when i was form 4 which replaced bio with accounting where i eventually dropped acc even tho i can score it well (A's and B's) . I dont like what im doing rite now. I dont love it. I miss pure science. Physics is all about calculations while chemistry is all about the solutions. IM BORED! I really wanna learn about HUMAN, the study of human.

I know I cant be a doctor since i dont have spm biology.. So my alternative is by doing biomedical science.. And we dont need spm biology to be a scientist, just do the foundation in science and score really well is enough..

But idk if this the right path.. My father really wanted me to be a doctor but he didnt know i couldnt even tho i have the passion for it. Its too late for me to learn biology and take it for spm.. I dont want to be left behind.. Personally, i want to graduate asap so i could contribute back to my family ..

What should i do... I really want to be a doctor :'(
Thank you..

Work overseas?

Hi,

Since I'm having financial issues. Would it be better if I do foundation + degree in Malaysia first and then do Master overseas? Is that okay? Because my dream is to experience how it feels like studying overseas. And after I graduate, can I find a job there too? Need opinions, thanks!

3D Animator / VFX Artist - Question

Hi,

I am wondering if you are a 3d animator or vfx artist, do you need to DRAW? Or even know how to? Im bad at drawing but GOOD in making animation and visual effects in video. Im afraid that because I dont have skills in drawing, that would be a problem for me. Oh yeah, and Im finding job in US.

3D / VFX - NEED ADVICE!

Hi guys,

I need some advice. Do you really need to know how to draw or love in art in order to do any 3d modelling or visual effects? Personally, I'm not that "art" type of guy, I don't enjoy drawing either. BUT, when I take a look at some 3d models, vfx, animation etc, I felt like,.. I'm interested learning it and making a career out of it. For example, Gnomon showreel. But something bothering me which is if you want to enter this kind of school, you need to show portfolio. Which again, include sketches (I HATE DRAWING BECAUSE I CANT DRAW NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED). Even if I managed to draw, its must have been by forced. Apart from that, I want to study abroad (if only I got the chance to enter Gnomon, but they stated that they ONLY take the BEST). Im quite sad and depressed that because of inability to draw, I dont have what it takes to join my dreamt school. The reason I want to study abroad is because I want to work there, not in Malaysia and the quality of their finished project is simply amazing. Next, I'm the only child left in my family to change my current family status. We are living in poverty. Im afraid that they wont agree on what I really keen to do, since they are putting hopes on me. BUT, if I work in the States, I know I can support them even if I work as a junior vfx artist cause the pay is good which is around RM10k+ if you convert it for fresh grad, the living cost wont be too much since Im the only one stays there. But if I work in Malaysia, i will only get around RM2k+ max, they will be dissapointed. Im currently forcing myself to make an interest in Comp Science, but seeing the codes everywhere,.. its not my thing. I need some advice please since I only have 1 year left to decide my path after SPM.

Last but not least, Im sorry if I cant speak english fluently. Thank you.

Graphics Programmer

Hi,

So i was doing a research on jobs. I went to Naughty Dog careers page, and there are position titled "Graphics Programmer" . So I check the requirements, and they want someone with a Bachelor in Computer Science. My question is, what does a graphic programmer actually do? Is it a combination of art + programming ? Because it doesnt sound right to me since we didnt learn any art in Comp Sc degree. So can someone explain in your own words? I looked up on the internet, and I couldnt understand.
Thank you.

AUP in Inti Subang - Jobs

hi guys,

im planning to enroll in AUP in Inti Subang. I was planning to major in computer science,.. And Im also planning to transfer to University of Toronto in Canada. I want to be a programmer for a game company, thats my dream. My question is, if we graduated from Canada, we only can find job in Canada only ?? Im not planning to work in malaysia as fresh grad. I want to work overseas , in Canada to be precise. But my plan is to work until 3-4-5 years, and then transfer to US to apply into AAA game company which is either Naughty Dog or Square Enix. Is this possible? Thanks.

Oh and I dont want to join Taylors since the fees and passing marks is too high. and that would be a problem for my application for scholarship. Yes, i need scholarships to study in Canada too.
