Urgent - What JW or Mormon active in Klang Valley?

A person I care about says grace but when I mentioned that we are brothers in Christ he said, "we worship a different God"... "call it an independent denomination".

From my current research they could be JW, Mormon or some other offshoot. I believe he always references another person as "brother" (not in a common Protestant Christian way).

I have seen JW active recently in public areas. Not so much in the past few months if the government has clamped down on it and/or clamped down on Mormon missionaries in Klang Valley?

Please assist with any information you have.

For the record I am a Bible-based, born-again, adult-baptised in full-immersion water Christian. I do not belong to a denomination per se.
