Anyone know good T Shirt suppliers?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good and reliable t-shirt supplier for merchandise for my YouTube channel.

Does anybody know any good suppliers?

Ideally dropship is possible (meaning that people can order from me via a link on my channel, and then the supplier does fulfillment), but willing to explore other arrangements. I've tried Gelato, and I think it doesn't offer what I need - I think that there used to be another print-on-demand supplier in Malaysia but this also closed shop.

If you happen to know the process as well for putting in a design and eventually manufacturing and shipping, that will be great as well to learn about and I hope you don’t mind if I pick your brain a bit on that.

Thinking to sell via a mixture of online store involving Shopify and also my YouTube channel and website sepupunomics.com. Going to go for best quality and price combination, but with a bias towards quality.

If anyone could help me out on this, I would deeply appreciate it!

Justice For Fahmi Reza

Hi friends, you might know about what happened to Fahmi Reza just the other day as he was restricted from leaving Malaysia to go to Singapore.

It's a wild situation and something that should not have happened under the current Reformasi government.

If you agree with that, please consider signing this petition here and to learn a bit more about the situation.

Link: https://chng.it/dxdbCyrPKZ

Thank you in advance and appreciate your support!
V.

PAS member pretending to be an UMNO member

PAS MEMBER MASQUERADING AS UMNO MEMBER

Found a PAS member acting as an UMNO member. It is quite obvious, especially since he was talking about giving PAS seats in Parliament when that doesn't really make sense in the first place and Parliament seats come from a competitive process.

As such, it would appear that here we have somebody pretending to be a UMNO member but actually they are a PAS member.

They did say that they were a Bagan Datuk UMNO member though. Welcome anybody who is a part of UMNO and reading this to check.

In any case, what we can see here is that you have someone who wants to pretend that there is some sort of accord between UMNO and PAS. It's quite interesting to see but also disturbing to watch. What are these people even trying to do? It is interesting to see.

Of course, I could be wrong as well.

Am I? If I am, comment below.

If not, also comment below 🤭

PAS protest this Friday

PAS is organizing a protest and inviting UMNO PKR and Amanah to join.

It looks like:

a) An attempt to co-opt all Muslims in a display of ‘unity’ but clearly it’s political manipulation and an attempt to menunggang agama, as PAS always does.

b) If KDN stops buses they would say the government is going against faith and trying to support religion.

c) If protest proceeds (which in a way it should since free speech etc) they would just say whoops we were successful, but have the option to fund people and bring in buses, and if the other parties don’t join they will use this as an excuse to say the other parties don’t care about religion.

Do they even have a permit yet? 🙃

A fun thought:

I don’t think this should be restricted IF it can be made safe (ie there is monitoring and it’s clear that PAS applied for a license and isn’t going on and saying oops religion overrides all laws).

However, I think the ministry should approve a MINIMUM of two permits.

It would be funny if there were another rally ongoing in the presence of the attendees where people scream about justice for Siti Mastura and #SAVEFITNAH, with gigantic posters printed out - can even have pictures of Razman Zakaria and others as well.

It could be fun to use this opportunity to illustrate their hypocrisy on a grand scale and to formally invite their supporters to join the munafik community - which they are. 🤭

Thoughts, people?

Edit:

Made a fun vid, guys :-)

Enjoy and please subscribe and share!

There is also a Malay language post that is designed for sharing with people who may have voted PAS.

Please share with your Malay speaking friends who may still be on the fence or who may have just joined PAS and believe that it is the key to going where they need to go.

Thanks!

Can Malaysians Celebrate Christmas Together?

There are some people who insist that Christmas is a season for people ONLY of a specific set of races and faiths in Malaysia.

So here’s a question for you.

Do you think ALL Malaysians (Malays Chinese Indian Orang Asli Dusun Dayak Iban dan lain lain) can or should be able to celebrate Christmas together?

Share this with all your friends of all races

Hello, people!

Recently, there's been a lot of a push to say that Malaysia is a place where speech is being suppressed and you can't express your opinion, but I want to know how you genuinely feel about it.

Do you feel that you have freedom of speech in Malaysia?

Please vote in the poll and let me know how you feel as well!

Does Democracy Work For Malaysia In Current State?

Topic.

The word democracy comes from two Greek roots:

Demos, which refers to the people, and Kratos, which means power.

From the combination of these roots, you can see:

The very idea of democracy is power by the people.

That's the reason that we gather every few years for a general election and we cast votes for one of the two suboptimal parties to try to get a good outcome or at least one that won't completely screw us over - it is our attempt to assert power over our circumstances.

In the Malaysian context, we saw a ‘victory’ for democracy with the Madani government coming into power.

Admittedly, democracy doesn't cease to exist just because you disagree with its outcomes. Yet there are clear ways in which we see all sorts of things impacting that very democracy, especially in Malaysia.

Right now, bills about online safety and also a mufti bill are moving quickly beyond the reach of average citizens, funding is being thrown out for political entities that most Malaysians support along racial lines, and entire political parties are taking part in manipulation of the population on a large scale, one of which is taking part in lies and getting sued over and over again, paying money just as the expected tuition costs for wresting control over the Malay mind (I’ll let you decide which partie(s) are taking part in this. If you have no answer, feel free to call me a crazy person.) even as feudalism rears its ugly head and ikut ikut ikut mentality continues and the 3R’s which we’re not supposed to talk about become a daily tool to manipulate Malaysians by some of the usual suspects.

Do you feel that democracy works in Malaysia, at least in its current state?

How much do you feel that democracy works in Malaysia and is it really a sustainable way for continuing to run this country given the way that people are repeatedly manipulating the process, whether by conducting psychological operations or influencing the way that we vote while at the same time going against the actual will of the people through a process of subterfuge that fails to actually engage citizens and in the first place, many Malaysians aren’t even educated about democracy and refuse to be, instead engaging in all sorts of enlightening takes such as that you can fail English if you want because you’re ’not British’? 😅

Curious to hear your thoughts!

Fake accounts manipulating Malaysian democracy

Hi guys.

Not sure if you guys have noticed this, but recently there's been a huge influx of fake accounts commenting on news articles in Malaysia.

Most recently, consider this Kini opinion piece about the recent visit from the Taliban.

Just look at the people who are commenting their accounts and the people who like the comments.

The accounts are invariably accounts with fake Al profile pictures, and they are locked.

The comments are all of a particular political leaning, and if you look at the sheer number of likes, on average Malaysiakini article comments don't receive such a large number of likes in the course of less than an hour and clearly, if you look at this, you will see that there is manipulation.

I think that always has been, but recently it has escalated like crazy.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Have a look at a sample at the link and down below and you will see multiple instances of this fake account usage.
There are at least fifteen fake accounts here - Eddie Azman, Fakri Nazri, Izzue Ashraf, Faizal Kamaruddin, Ikhwan Hakim, Ikhwan Fauzi, Dani Daniel, Khairul Ashraf, Azmir Ismail, Harith Iskandar, Fendi Akmal, etc amongst others.

If you guys could also help me with mass reporting these people to Facebook and MCMC that would be amazing!

Consider going to https://aduan.mcmc.gov.my to do so and clicking ‘report’ on their accounts.

Thanks!
V

Best Ipoh Caterers?

Hello all, I'm part of an organizing committee for an event on the 30th of November and I'm looking for a good caterer for a dinner on the 30th of November for about 35 to 40 people.

Just wondering about what are some of the best caterers in Ipoh. We've tried Konda Kondi and also Martin's and also Tandoor Grill and are considering those options but would love to hear suggestions for good food!

Halal is preferable but no pork is also okay and the budget is under 50 ringgit per person.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions that you might give and really appreciate it!

Biryani, nasi kandar and other things are also good and we can buy that on a large scale as well. Thank you!

A Review of Wispr Flow Transcription App For Mac

Hey guys! Just started using Wispr Flow, and it's a total game-changer for anyone who spends a lot of time typing. I've tried other tools like ChatGPT for transcription along the way, but Wispr Flow stands out for a few reasons:

1. Super Easy to Use: No complicated setup or training required. Just install it, and you're ready to go. It works with any text field – Push a button and just start speaking, and it transcribes instantly. No switching from app window to app window.
Lightning-Fast Installation: The setup process was a breeze. I was up and running in minutes without any hassle.
2. Boosted Efficiency: Not every AI app delivers on the promise of a faster workflow and there is really quite a lot of hype out there , but this really has changed the way that I do things. It's helped me cut down typing time drastically (Which makes sense because speaking takes place at about 100+ WPM on average, while typing is anywhere from 45-60 WPM), and I've even gotten better at using shortcuts since I can focus more on my workflow.
3. Time Saver: The ease of starting voice typing in any text field means I can get my thoughts down right away without the usual back-and-forth. It is super fast and while it's true that it doesn't really destroy the keyboard all the way (because you do need to make use of shortcuts) and there can be some situations where you do want to click on things, I really do think that this is a huge game changer in a lot of different ways. It's also worthwhile to note that things like command mode make it so that effectively you'll get ChatGPT in pretty much any text field you want along the way. There are some quality of life features like Wispr mode that help make it so that you can pretty much whisper even in a loud environment or in an environment where you can make a ton of noise, and the app is going to go ahead and transcribe pretty well (though there are a couple of sacrifices of accuracy along the way).
4. Mac exclusive: This makes a ton of sense because this is after all a forum dedicated towards Mac apps.

I've also written a more detailed comparison with other tools in this article, and also made this video about it.

I should disclose that I'm affiliated with the company (which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to make a purchase through the links provided at no additional cost to you, though I'm not part of the development team of the app) after having used the software and discovering that it's actually pretty good; this is just a small bet, but having provided a bit of content here, I hope that you guys don't mind if I post my link here so that you can go ahead and get Wispr Flow. It will also give you a free month of Flow along the way!

Happy to repost this later without the link if that really isn't allowed.

If you find that this content is valuable, please consider using the link in the article or the video and these will help to support my own journey going forward.
Happy to answer any questions about using this app from a user's perspective - Enjoy if you choose to try it out!

Petition Against Malaysia's "Kill Switch" Law

Dear All,

Please sign this petition against the Malaysian Government's internet "Kill Switch Law", which is due to be discussed in parliament in October.

This is a law that the government wants to push through that will supposedly grant them a “kill switch” to the internet and allow them to stop access to certain kinds of content or potentially to entire platforms.

The government says a variety of things about the law, but there has been a lack of transparency with respect to engaging the public. By signing the petition, you are telling the government to engage the Malaysian public genuinely rather than just pretending to do so.

What is this about?

Here is some context from a Straits Times article.

"PETALING JAYA - Malaysia’s government is set to introduce a “kill switch” to enhance online security and tackle cybercrimes.

In a statement on July 28, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Azalina Othman Said revealed that the initiative is expected to be tabled in Parliament in the next session slated for October.

The kill switch aims to increase the responsibility of social media platform providers and internet messaging services providers in combating cybercrimes such as online scams, cyberbullying, the spread of child pornography materials, and sexual harassment.

“This aligns with legal initiatives enforced in other countries,” she said.

Ms Azalina also mentioned that the government had several other initiatives planned and executed to address online safety concerns, including studies to amend the Penal Code.

Among these initiatives is the International Legal Conference on Online Harms 2024, scheduled for Sept 5 and 6, conducted with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

“This conference will be attended by experts and international advocates for social media accountability and transparency, such as Frances Haugen and Dr Taylor Owne, to discuss issues like cybercrime, child protection, social media regulation, and the rise of artificial intelligence,” she said.

"
Why should you be worried?

You may have noticed that I posted a thread the other day asking you about whether you received a poll - that was part of the process of demonstrating that the Malaysian Government has not actually initiated a process of reaching out to the Rakyat, despite what it claims should happen, which should be:

Phase 1: Enhancing Online Safety legal workshop in Desaru (August 2024)
Phase 2: International Legal Conference on Online Harms (September 5th - 6th, 2024)
Phase 3: USM study on online harms that is supposed to reach the Rakyat

Phase 4: Parliamentary debate (October 2024)

The source for this is the International Legal Conference on Online Harms, organized by BHEUU and jointly organized by MCMC and the Ministry of Communications. You can find proof that this is what YB Azalina said from the video recording of the event.

While absence of evidence is not evidence of absence of a survey conducted by Universiti Sains Malaysia, it is interesting that:

1) The Lowyat community and Reddit communities were not consulted

2) The Developer community was not consulted. (Community with 50k+ people)

3) The Education community was not consulted. (Community with 100k+ people)

Engagement in these polls was limited because people likely just hadn't heard about this at all and chose not to engage (there were a total of ~80 people who voted across all the polls), but the fact that the entire population indicates that if there is a poll, it probably didn't reach people.

Additionally, I sent an email as well as an Instagram message to USM to ask if they had information about any survey(s) aimed at understanding the Malaysian public's views on online safety - neither of these messages was answered.

It is perhaps possible to survey a range of other communities for their views on this as well, and I may do so to better understand the extent to which there has been any attempt from the government to engage the public for their views on the matter.

While it is possible that a survey has indeed been conducted, the fact that none of the ecosystems that I considered were surveyed suggests that the research is unlikely to be representative of the broader Malaysian internet ecosystem at large, and the fact that the government claims that it would like to survey us but has yet to do so to my knowledge and despite my best efforts should raise concern from the Malaysian public at large.

Why a petition?

The reason I'm creating this petition even at risk of people saying that petitions are useless is that as a concerned citizen, I feel that the Malaysian government has not engaged its citizens to seek out their perspectives on internet freedom despite claims and proclamations that it values freedom of speech and wants to engage, and I've also had good experiences conducting these types of campaigns in the past.

I also think that it's good to have people at least start taking part in a conversation about online safety, and to potentially organise so as to create something more extensive along the way, but it does start with having people voice out their concerns - and internet freedom is a very serious concern.

Having watched the entirety of the ILCOH and become much more aware of the global landscape and legal context of online harms, I can see clearly that the Government would want to regulate the internet effectively. I see its point about wanting to hold social media platforms accountable, but it appears that it is skipping steps to take part in engagement along the way - something that I think is tremendously unhealthy and that will ultimately damage its credibility with the people that it is meant to serve - a stark difference from the way that Canada took four years of engagement to create its Online Harms Bill, C-63 - and also something that far and away departs from the spirit of creating safety and veers into authoritarian censorship that ultimately recruits the views only of a few in order to craft a policy that will deeply impact the country, even as it fails to achieve the aim of creating a shared reality and a sense of trust on the part of citizens towards their government that will ultimately culminate in the splintering and continued polarisation of our society despite the government's best efforts.

From speaking to one of our Ministers of Communication, though, I've come to realise that the government is not uniform on the approach that it takes towards these matters and suspect that this is why recently, YB Azalina Othman has tried to bring in the "Kill Switch" law - and that often, it takes one minister persuading another to ensure that an initiative doesn't take flight prematurely.

A petition may help to persuade the Ministers if they can see that public support will avail itself, and I will push for a timeline for public engagement, following up on some of the statements issued in the media that quoted me as calling for wider engagement with the public on these matters.

Conclusion

Please sign and share the petition if you agree with it in the expectation that it will reach our elected representatives, and please feel free to share some of your thoughts about online safety as well as well as how the petition can be improved.

Thank you!

Malaysian Online Safety "Kill Switch" Law Survey?

Edit: Created a petition about this! Sign here!

Hi everyone, just wondering, but did you recently participate in an online safety survey in Malaysia by Universiti Sains Malaysia/did you hear about one?

I recently came across some information that the Malaysian government, along with the MCMC, is making significant efforts to draft a new online safety law, also known as a "Kill Switch" law. Part of this process involves a social study conducted by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to gather views and sentiments from various stakeholders, including regular citizens, and therefore I am wondering if you as a regular citizen (if you are) were recruited to join that study.

This study is supposed to be part of phase three of BHEUU's legislative efforts led by YB Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, following the first part of drafting the law, which was an Enhancing Online Safety legal workshop in Desaru in August, and the second part of which was the International Legal Conference on Online Harms from September 5th-6th 2024, (which is the source of the above picture - Refer to 46:00 onwards), organized by Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang a while ago.

The study will be followed by a debate of the legislation in parliament, during which the Malaysian government will debate the kill switch law that it has been thinking about since at least July, which follows its recent departure from the DNS Redirect policy that we managed to overcome - a policy that only was reversed because Malaysians objected against it, and also an indication that the Malaysian government was willing to push through legislation rapidly even though that legislation might profoundly affect the rights of Malaysians to use the internet freely and the matter should have been debated much more widely.

To summarize, this is what the legislative process for the Online Safety law looks like:

Phase 1: Enhancing Online Safety legal workshop in Desaru (August 2024)
Phase 2: International Legal Conference on Online Harms (September 5th - 6th, 2024)
Phase 3: USM study on online harms that is supposed to reach the Rakyat
Phase 4: Parliamentary debate (October 2024)

Since this survey is allegedly crucial in shaping the upcoming online safety laws, I am wondering how many of you have actually seen this survey since I personally haven't, and I also note that the Malaysian government has barely given one month between Phase 2 and Phase 4 and so I seriously question whether many people have actually been involved in such a survey to seek out their attitudes and perspectives, noting that in the very same conference, a Dr. Taylor Owen mentioned that the corresponding Canadian process had taken four years to secure trust and buy-in from the Rakyat.

As such, I'm curious if any of you have been involved or received any kind of survey from USM on this matter. If so, what kind of questions were asked? Just wondering, since this is Lowyat.net and the thought is that some of you may have heard about such an initiative or at least some of you may have become research subjects in this survey, given that Low Yat can be taken as representative to a degree of the Malaysian internet and some of you may be part of a community that was actually surveyed by USM and the government in seeking your perspectives on this upcoming policy.

It would be interesting to hear how inclusive this process has been and whether they've actively sought out input from a broad range of people, or they are just trying to rapidly push this through without adequately consulting the Rakyat.

Thanks!

Petition Against MCMC Redirection

EDIT: WE WON!!!

Thank you all for your support and congratulations to all Malaysians for supporting this petition, signing it, and making it successful! While I can’t definitively confirm that this did have a causal effect, I did send it to Fahmi and likely the first time he had heard of the petition movement was when I’d done that.

Still, it’s a good time to celebrate

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and contributions and sharing and support!

—————
Original
—————

Hi all.

Recently, I've been very concerned about the MCMC plan to redirect traffic away from public DNS, and the MCMC seems to want to do it with impunity and it's clearly something a lot of people are worried about - if this does happen, freedom on the internet will be curtailed, and freedom of thought in our society is likely to be robbed away. The MCMC should invest in educating the public on responsible internet use - not this kind of nannying.

As such, I thought to create a petition on this matter to stand against the fact that MCMC is doing this, to prevent a great robbery of the Malaysian people of free thought.

I admit that many Malaysians don't really use that responsibility effectively, but this is not the time to police when it is best to spend time educating.

Please consider signing the petition here and sharing it so that more people are aware of this!

Context: The Star - "MCMC orders DNS redirection for businesses, govts, enterprises by Sept 30, according to Maxis FAQ"
Link: https://www.thestar.com.my/tech/tech-news/2...ng-to-maxis-faq
"PETALING JAYA: According to an FAQ posted by Maxis, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is requiring all Internet service providers to implement public DNS (Domain Name System) redirection for businesses, enterprises, and governments by Sept 30.

In the FAQ titled ‘Maxis Business DNS Redirection’, the telco stated that this will affect entities using public DNS services, such as Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) and Cloudflare's DNS (1.1.1.1 or 1.0.0.1).

DNS is a system that turns easy-to-remember website names (like www.thestar.com.my) into the numeric IP addresses that computers use to locate websites on the Internet.

A public DNS can be used to bypass government blocks on certain websites. However, with DNS redirection, requests to access these websites are rerouted to the DNS servers of a local service provider, effectively blocking access to the intended sites.

Maxis said that DNS redirection is being adopted to block harmful websites and uphold Malaysian laws. It added that this measure is particularly important for businesses and government entities, as it helps protect their reputation and avoid accidental legal breaches.

“Under the current direction, this method helps to block access to websites involved in online gambling, pornography, copyright violations, scams, and other illegal activities,” it said.

In cases where websites are blocked by the MCMC, the telco states that users will be redirected to the mcmc-redirect.maxis.com.my webpage instead.

StarPicks
LBS DELIVERS STEADY GROWTH IN Q2FYE2024
The company also posted that “MCMC will closely monitor and enforce the implementation of DNS redirection to ensure that all Internet service providers comply with the regulations and directions by MCMC”.

“As an Internet service provider, we are required to report our progress and address any issues that arise,” it added.

However, it said this will not impact entities using “private DNS or encrypted traffic, including encrypted DNS and other data traffic”.

Businesses using self-hosted private DNS servers or with DNS over HTTPS (DoH) enabled in the browser settings will also not be affected by the DNS redirect.

Private DNS servers refer to a business- or company-managed DNS service, allowing its administrators to control and configure settings directly, while DoH encrypts DNS queries sent by devices, enhancing privacy and security.

In a statement on Aug 8, MCMC said it will take measures to ensure restrictions to harmful or prohibited websites remain in place by collaborating with service providers on a number of preventive measures, including “in the management of domain name systems (DNS)”.

The regulatory body said from Jan 1, 2022, to Aug 1, 2024, a total of 10,423 websites were blocked due to violations of the law.

From the total number of blocked websites, 95.7% are in the following five categories: online gambling (4,484), online pornography (3,271), online copyright infringement (1,654), scams in the form of online investment (316), and online sex prostitution (249)."

Hello everyone! I started a small petition against Gilley, and it’s about to hit 300 signatures already since April 30th, 2024. (Update: it is now 1000+)

Long story short, angmoh dude comes to Malaysia (the problem isn’t because he is angmoh - keep reading), says Malaysia is calling for a second Holocaust, which isn't true.

Moving forward, he fails to explain any part of that statement in a satisfactory way or participate in dialogue (what he was supposed to do), skips town, lies about Malaysia being unsafe for travel and begs for money for his trip back, plays victim, and accuses us of official antisemitism without providing definitions (he doesn’t know about the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which he should have known about because he is a Princeton PhD lmao, but accuses us of antisemitism), showcasing a failure of his professorial duties and academic integrity, refusing to take accountability all the while mocking Malaysia and continuing to do so.

I think the internet's memory is a bit short, but also the story of Bruce Gilley and how he essentially attacked Malaysia’s national reputation is something we shouldn’t forget, in my opinion - it made national headlines but then promptly died.

But imo, this isn’t something we should forget.

If you don't entirely remember it, I made a YouTube video that will tell you about what happened.

Friends, what Gilley did in Malaysia wasn't just insult Malaysia's national reputation. It also insulted the entirety of the world of academia.

Yes, it's definitely possible to criticize Malaysia in a hundred different ways. Even I can do it. Ineffective parliamentarians, low-tier economy, rakyat who refuse to learn, people who play victim as an excuse for why they aren't achieving certain things in life. But there's a difference between these valid criticisms and the lies that Gilley decided to spew on the 23rd of April.

That’s why the petition targets Gilley on the basis of academic integrity and aims not for a national response but an international one; it is quite long and detailed and has been supported by Malaysians of all races.

Please read at least the TL;DR section before commenting, or just watch the video for an easy introduction to the issues.

I personally invited Gilley to a public debate through a public invitation on LinkedIn and on Twitter, then also sent an email. He did not respond and I will not resend those invitations.

From the petition data that I've gathered from my supporters so far, I've also seen that the video is the ultimate source of signatures for the petition but however you guys want to distribute you can go ahead.

If you read this and you feel that it makes sense, please share in the journey to push for Malaysia's reputation by signing the petition, and then sending it to your friends, associates, or the media.

Let’s make this an international thing and let’s not let Bruce Dumbdumb Gilley bully Malaysians.

Thanks!

-closed- (Now with a small update)

Alright, all the reporting is done.

Thanks for the help, guys! Might make a thread on what to do in event of doxxing next time.

Update: I do feel like I owe it to you guys to explain why I closed this thread.

First of all, I thought about it, and I realized that I could have very well continued onwards with a vendetta and a wish to perform revenge against this dude.

But I realized that that isn't really becoming, and I have much better things to do. As I've mentioned, I've already made reports to PDRM and also to the Singapore Police Force along the way.

If they do anything, then that's cool. If they do nothing, I think I can accept that as well. I've done what I needed under the law, managed to secure protection for myself, and at this point, I'll leave it to them to decide whether he is a danger or he's not a danger.

It felt like I had a right to do more and more for a while and that that was the desirable course of action, but at the end of the day, I decided that that wasn't something that aligned with my principles. So, friends, if somebody does something bad to you, I think that it's very tempting to want to commit revenge and to make sure that they suffer in the worst possible way.

But if you give it some thought, you might realize that, in fact, people are trying to just live in this world and a lot of people are suffering. It may not come to you in the moment of suffering, and it certainly didn't for me. But it occurred to me that he may have been stressed and thought of this as an outlet for what he chose to do.

These words are cheap and they don't do anything to allay the potential trouble that he may get in with MCMC, PDRM, and the Singapore Police Force.

But yeah, on my part, I have no particular enmity for him, but I also don't have an interest in interacting with him.

We essentially came to an agreement whereby, within 24 hours, we would get rid of all content concerning one another and he requested for the removal of images featuring him, which I complied with because I had no interest in being as bad as him, even though it sure seemed tempting at the time and there is a potential case for saying that the images are public that we could dispute long and hard but that I'm sure nobody particularly wants.

What was it again?

You either die the hero or you live long enough to see you become the villain?

I chose not to be the villain in this case, and that's why I'm locking the thread and won't be continuing the mass report campaign.
