Seeking lawyer

First of all, my story telling isn't great, and I'm going to put this in a simpler form.

Last month my mechanic brother in law had a terrible accident. He was fixing a compact sedan and he lift up the car to get the work done underneath the car. Suddenly one of the jack stand failed and the car crushed on him, he was screaming frantically as the entire weight of the car is pressed against his shoulder. The vertical rod of the jackstand snapped in half as shown the in photo below.

He suffer a very serious injury on his right upper shoulder, his arm had to be operated and hospitalised. Now his hand is still in recovery and he had lost his main income because of this. His job is probably jeopardies for the rest of his mechanic career due to this injury.

I'm seeking for advice on how to claim any form compensation from the manufacturer of the jack stand. Any firm or organisation that I can approach and go from there? TIA

Weird interview session

So, I was looking for a job and went for an interview today. Upon arriving, I waited at the office waiting area for about 15 minutes to be attended by the representative.
A lady walk towards me, showed me the way to the meeting room, gave me some paper to fill in about my job descriptions etc, the usual. One strange thing happened, the lady did not switch on the AC in the meeting room which I find it strange and did not ask about. I left the door open so that air can circulate to the room and continue to finish up the paper.
After completing the paper, a manager walks in, we had a 30 minutes interview and everything went smoothly. Was told that a MD will be interviewing me on a second interview.

Went back home to receive a message from my recruiter saying that I was rejected. Baffled. Shortly after, I receive a text from the employer who interviewed me and told me that "the Air-con was not swtiched on at meeting room during the initial interview session is part of our interview exercise."

What a strange interview session. Did not find any such interview behavioral on the site. Anyone had such similar interview session? What is the reason behind that?

I'm still waiting for the employer to explain it to me.

Got declined by a job interview

So, I've been looking for a job for an entire month since I lost my previous job and so far only 3 employer called me for an interview. It is a slow month as most of the HR and top management are usually on leave at this time of the year.
The first one said I wasn't qualified for the position and inexperienced enough which I agreed and moved on.

The second employer messaged me on the 22nd on December and arranged for an interview on Christmas morning. I arrived on time and he gave me a form to fill up and a small test papers which is related to my field. It was like sitting in an exam all over again.

Feeling confident that I know how to answer most of the questions given, I held my hopes high and was expecting an oral interviews from the employer after the test. He left me in the meeting room to answer those questions while he went back to his office. 1.5 hour later, he came in, told me I'm taking too long to answer these questions and that is enough. It was a 20 subjective questions involving a lot of writtings and some calculations. I didn't manage to finish the test.

He asked a few questions about my previous work experience and just less than 5 minutes later, he proceeded to said I won't be qualified in this position. I asked for an explanation and he said he did not agree to most of my answers given. Stunned, I asked which are the answers he didn't agree, he did not point any specific questions and just told me that certain questions are right, but most are wrong and did not fulfill what he wants. He used to be a lecturer and I guess that is why he was so stern about the test. He is also a profession by trade.

He mentioned that I'm not focused enough and I wasn't sure about my own direction and asked me to reconsider about further proceeding this path. I would somehow agree to this but I don't see why he would arrange for this interview since he already knew everything from the resume I've emailed earlier.

I also asked what are the position or what kind of person they were actually looking for since his rejection on my application was so swift and so brief that I almost do not need to attend the interview.
At that point I realised they wouldn't able to meet my expected pay as he mentioned my previous employer overpaid me. He did not know what I had contributed to my previous company and I'm not sure how he could judge that I was overpaid, just by looking at the questions I answered? The whole oral interview lasted less than 15 minutes

So here we are, all confidence lost, jobless, and turning 30.
Would really appreciate if anyone could advice on me to build my confidence right back up.

Photographers life not easy, wedding photo ruined

So, pertaining my last topic regarding the wedding photos gone due to burglary, I think now the photography studio is gonna have a huge impact on their business.

But why photographer didn't do necessary backup once go back? Why didn't keep gears in room and lock it?

Wedding photos all gone

My friend's wedding night photos all gone as the photographer claimed that all his gears was all gone in a house burglary.
The photographer made police report and showed us but as we all know, the wedding is a one-time thing.

My eyes are super sensitive to glares especially at night when some vehicles had installed some stupid HID in their halogen headlights or those with high beams on, it is very irritating. (I had my eyes checked few months ago and also did wear an astig glasses to no avail)

One night I caught this idiot driving with high beam on a well lit road, blasting every vehicles on the road, and the rest is shown in the video.

PS: Yes I do headlight retrofit, but that's not the point, I'm not here to sell or promote anything. Just to share how to be a responsible driver.

On the 29th April 2015, I've requested for a relocation of my telephone line and streamyx service. On the 1st May 2015, the installer came to my place and I was told that the cable at that area was broken and wasn't able to proceed with the installation of the telephone line or Streamyx.

I place a report on the 4th of May 2015 and I was told that the repair work is in progress and to call back TM two weeks later. I place another call on the 18th May 2015 and file a report and was told to call back again. Few days later I've call back TM and the same thing was told that the repair work is still in progress, at this point I was pretty frustrated as it has been months that the cable is left unfix. I proceed to file a report with SKMM/MCMC about this issue.

Yesterday 28th May I received a call from TM to clear my bill that I clearly wasn't using the service at all. However, I proceeded to pay the bill and call back the next day to ask about the progress and to my surprise, the repair work is still ongoing.

I've also file a report to SKMM but to no avail. What's the next step I can do?

This incident involved a neighbour just below my gf's aparment. This man is a middle age tall guy staying with his families with kids and possibly his parents as well. For the past 4 years, my girlfriend has been having this very uncomfortable feeling whenever that man stares and smile pervertly at her, either in the lift lobby and especially inside the elevator when they are both alone. Those smiles are not normal mannered smile, but a bothering one whereby my gf had already gave that man the look to indicate him to stay back.

This man always gives those dirty stares not only to my girlfriend but also other women around the apartment. I dare say the man was also starring other women because my girlfriend's female housemates also did complaint about this man before.

This may not sound like a sexual harassment by simply staring but things get even interesting as time goes by.

There is a time where my girlfriend was driving with her other colleague when her colleague noticed that the motorbike in front of them keeps looking back and stares at them. To her surprise, my girlfriend realise it was the same man that lives at her apartment. She was so afraid that she avoided the motorbike soon after realising it was him.
Now we know that the man had already recognised which car my girlfriend drives and which floor she stays makes me and my girlfriend feels greatly uncomfortable.

One morning, me and my girlfriend was about to walk out from her apartment for breakfast. While in the lift, the lift stops at a floor where the perverted man stayed and of all odds, the perverted man steps in. He does what he usually does, stares and smile at my girlfriend of course. I then quickly blocked his view by standing in front of him and looked at him. He got so mad and asked me what am I looking (what an irony). At that time there was a few other residence in the lift as well, so I pointed him out that his stares gave my girlfriend a very uncomfortable feeling but he continued scolding me and even to the point of threatening me that he will hit me. This had happened twice in a row! The other residence in the lift at that time told us that he too had such experience with this uncle and ask us to be extra careful.

There was too many countless times that such incident had happened to my girlfriend and it had made her extremely embarrassed and uneasy to the point that she sometimes was afraid to go back alone. I've also done my best to accompany her back to her unit and also bought her pepper spray and told her to use it whenever necessary. I do not know what else I can do. We're afraid that one day this man might do something out of our expectation and I do not wish that to happen. As this is a low medium cost flat and management is not really a very great option. Making police reports is what most of you would advice me to do, but what am I going to expect from the police force? Are they going to entertain my so claimed "sexual harassment" about this perverted uncle?

What other advice or experience you k/ got? Let me know and also teach us what can we do about such perverted person.

yesterday night going back to my place, my place outside is public car park so everyone can park their cars there, but it is specially reserve for the residence there.

after I spotted a car park, suddenly this aunty and uncle stand there and "chop" the car park, i was like wtf

I ask them what are they doing, they say their daughter driving the car coming in. I say you cannot do that, then they started scold me ask me go away. WTF, I'm the resident there and they are not even residence there, they are just going there for the chinese opera.

Here no management so nobody care. One funny thing the aunty say is this is a public car park. So what gave her the right to jom the public car park?

Who else hate these kind of people? Brainless

Love scam

Few months ago, my gf's besties met a guy though online social network.
The guy claim that he is a foreigner working in Terengganu. Thinking that it is no harm just chatting online she continue talking to him and before she realise she was deeply in love with him.
Even though they haven't met in person, a few photos here and there and some sweet words convinced her that he is a legit guy just looking for some company.

Last month they both plan to go Penang for a weekend trip to meet up. The girl had bought her flight ticket and plan everything, whereby that guy had not done any of those. Till the very last minute, he cancelled the trip giving excuses that he got heavy workload that week and couldn't make it.
By that time me and my gf have been already very suspicious about this whole online dating, in fact, we already knew this is gonna be just another romance scam. Didn't want to break her heart and crush her hope, we just go along with her but we still did advice her to be extra careful with all these.

Things turns ugly last week. All of the sudden the girl was borrowing money from friends but she didn't want to tell us what is it for. So we ask her is it that guy who are asking money from her. she reluctantly confessed. But it was all too late, she already transferred about RM10,000 accumulatively to that guy in the past few months without our knowing. The account given was another 3rd party's bank account. Me and my gf was so shock and by that time it was clear that this was all a romance scam!

This weekend we are going to meet that so called "guy" in Terengganu. Like any other scammers, we knew that the information given by that guy are certainly not gonna be genuine. We will just accompany her to Terennganu. We want her to know this person does not exists and ask her to take this as a lesson.

So now the question, is there anyone that we can call for help regarding this kind of issues besides the Police which I doubt will be any helpful. She is now very embarrassed by this ordeal and would not want anybody to know, that includes her family members. (Yes, of course she did not tell her family about all these).

This is how the scam works and it has been used all around the world for decades, I just couldn't believe a friend of mine had fallen into such lowly scam.
