The Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) is a long-distance cycling event that is one of the most prestigious and challenging randonnées in the world. The event's name is derived from the two French cities it connects: Paris and Brest, with riders cycling from Paris to Brest and back to Paris, covering a distance of approximately 1,200 kilometers.

Held once every 4 years, this year we have over 40 Malaysian cyclists taking part in this event amongst the several thousands participants from all around the world. The event is not a race in the traditional sense; instead, it's a test of endurance, self-sufficiency, and navigation skills. Participants have a specified time limit to complete the course, usually around 90 hours.

This event attracts many cycling enthusiasts from all over the world with all type of bicycles setup. Participating in Paris-Brest-Paris is seen as a significant accomplishment in the cycling community, and many cyclists train intensively for years to prepare for the event. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and shared passion for endurance cycling, and completing PBP is often a source of immense personal satisfaction and pride for participants.
