Just bought number plate at Mysikap

Hey all!

I just bought a number plate from mysikap, already downloaded the pdf invoice receipt

May I know what's the next step?

1) Need to wait how many days to go JPJ and show them the pdf invoice receipt?

2) Can I get my sales agent to go JPJ take or do I need to go down personally.

PETALING: All Road Transport Department (JPJ) services will be turned off over a five-day period from Dec 23-27.

In a message on its website, the JPJ said it was upgrading its systems from Dec 23, 10pm to Dec 27, 7am.

"All JPJ activities whether at JPJ counters, POS (Malaysia) counters, JPJ kiosks, MyEG kiosks, UTC (Urban Transformation Centre) as well as phone transactions by the public, companies or JPJ business partners will be closed," it read.

The JPJ apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Does this mean can't register number plate using MySikap from December 23rd to 27th? Or even go JPJ office also can't register number plate?

Ancient iPhone4 with iOS5

Hey all!

I just got an iphone4 running on iOS5 but few apps is not working already because of the old iOS

May I know after i plugin to itunes and want to update iOS, can I update to a selected version or no choice must update to latest iOS? I don't think iphone4 is fast enough to use latest iOS at all..

Also will I risk losing all my information updating from iOS5 to latest? Quite a big leap..

Would you buy a car year end or next year?

Hey all!

Contemplating on buying Mazda CKD but it's year end already, they say year end car has low value and call me buy 2016 but some say it doesn't matter as resale value is based on manufactured date and not registration date. Quite confused which is true.

Many car manufacturers has confirmed price hike for 2016 including Honda and Toyota, I called Mazda/Bermaz but they say unconfirmed.

Hope sifu sifu can give some advise

I'm planning to buy Mazda CKD, I just called up Bermaz and the receptionist could not confirm there will be price hike, keeps saying until further notice. I ask if price hike is confirmed, will they hike immediately or in advance notice and she still says "until further notice"

What do you think? Should I buy Mazda CKD now for a year-end car or risk price hike and buy it on January 2016? Some say Mazda don't plan on price hike but it's just hearsay from random people and sales agent say confirm price hike since they want me to buy immediately.

KL Plates

Sorry guys, urgent question.

I'm going to buy a number plate, I'm from Johor.

If I buy a Wilayah Persekutan KL plate, I can still buy it from johor (using mysikap online) and in future renewal etc also just renew from JB, no need to go KL or anything right. Will there be any hassle or problem owning a plate that is not from your own state?

What do you do when you first got your new car? My friend told me to do coating since it will protect the car but forumers say it's just gimmick and doesn't really do anything, some say might as well use the money to get new paint job.

I was wondering should I do coating immediately after I got my car or after 6 month or 1 year after the car is less shiny.

For normal price RM210-300, what's the best number you've gotten or could have gotten? I wonder can get any 3 digit numbers... Come suggest I'm getting a Johor plate

I'm compiling a list so I can go JPJ and submit it, if 1st choice taken then they get 2nd choice and so on right? How many numbers can we list and give them?

I'm buying a new car soon and also want to buy car number. I'm from Johor (buying Johor number)

For numbers such as 628 (3 digit) roughly cost how much? For Johor number

If it's too high then I'll just consider buying 4 digit plates, if number plates such as 8181, 1001, 1118 etc is normal price RM210+ or also need to bid?

Any suggestions for 4 digit number that looks nice and normal price RM200-300?

Hey all!

I'm trying to add a pattern overlay on my image but the file size increases almost 2 fold jumping from 200kb http://i.imgur.com/IivVSFh.jpg to a whopping 770kb http://i.imgur.com/TmbJ0PC.jpg

I really need my images to be in the range of 200-300kb. Is there a way around this or did I use the pattern overlay incorrectly?

2) I got a very important announcement to make, how do I make sure the post is seen by everyone? Last time got promote button but now no more, if need to pay abit $$ also can as long everyone will see it.

I know fb now limit the exposure to friends I mostly interact friends rather than all friends.

Hi all!

I have a restaurant and just started using cash register since April for GST. All is well, our receipts is GST Inclusive.

On early May I added a few menu items into the cash register but did not realize that the newly added menu items isn't included in the GST 6% calculation in receipt.

For example
Kambing (New) RM10
Ayam RM10
Sotong RM10
GST 6%: RM1.2 (It didn't count Kambing RM10 into GST, just Ayam and Sotong)
Total: RM30
Customer Pay: RM30

By right it should be:
Kambing (New) RM10
Ayam RM10
Sotong RM10
GST 6%: RM1.80
Total: RM30
Customer Pay: RM30

I just realized this today so means our daily closing and receipt has been wrong for 1 month +

I ask my accountant if I should inform the customs of this issue first but he say don't because the custom officials may fine me. Instead he advise me to regenerate all the previous wrong receipts into the right ones.

Updating an ancient iphone4

I haven't been updating my iphone4 for a long time, my current version is 5.0.1 (9A405), I am planning on updating to the current ver which is 7.1 (right?)

I'm wondering would it be problematic updating such as causing my phone contacts/chats etc to be wiped off and if there's anything I should do before updating to ensure everything goes well. I'll back up the phone with itunes, anything else I need to do?

Hello everyone! Hope for your advise on the following

My father runs a kopitiam and right now he is preparing to do income tax for it. The accountant says they need salary payment receipts for all staff but the problem is my father always pay his staff with cash, no black and white at all, but he do pay for the staff epf and perkeso.

How do we produce this salary record? Could we buy something like a payment receipt from book store and use that instead? What information will be required in the receipt? I'm thinking, name, amount, date, company chop, the staff's signature. Will this be okay enough?
