This is not the mushroom wind turbine.
Saw a few reviews and video, seems good, come with brushless motor and quiet.
Some company list 2K+ rm, online 800rm+(without installation).

Instead of packing notes in physical red packet, is there a way to give a scan/QR slip to put in angpow?
No need to pack notes, no need to carry bundle of cash.

TnG i checked is totally e-transfer (group or direct), and limit is 1K only.

I want the joy of giving physical red packet, without need to fill up hard cash... old school write cheque but new gen wont know what to do with paper.

I have a RHB Multi Currency Account mainly for saving foreign currency FD (in malaysia).
Now i plan to use it when travelling.

Need confirmation.
I read the marketing as below.
So is better if I 'buy'/'convert' the currency into say RMB/CNY then I can use it when travelling in China?

I have a WISE which i buy up CNY at present rate. Does this work the same?

Need a new Prepaid sim for car GPS.

Need a sim card for car GPS device. Do not care much for data or call balance.
Just need long life validity without need to top up.

Previously i used Unifi prepaid but 1 day last year it stopped working on the device. But on phone the data works.
Then I switched to DIGI Next prepaid, was able to get Super Long Life. But not it ended and no option to get SLL again in Box of Surprise.

I am reading XOX and Hotlink Pantas 365.
I prefer Hotlink as XOX seems complicated.

Anyone using these 2 for GPS device or car sim? Would be good to know it works.

30 year old house roof tiles

I have been delaying my house renovation for years. Rather then waiting for the whole project, is it wise if I start work with the rooftiles?
presently there is no major or minor leak, sometimes heavy rain there will be some.
I plan to install solar panels, and feel it is best to refurbish the roof tiles to avoid any need to do it after install the panels.

what options do i have? do i really need to retile? can i just do those water proof coating/repaint?
does it really cost 30-40k for a 24 ft wide terrace house?

please share your views.

Stand fan problem - can repair?

My Midea standing fan has 8 speed. Now speed 5 upwards does not make any difference but still working.
Prior to this, fan gave out some faint burning smell.
Any parts i can DIY and fix myself?

Updates. opened and checked for capacitor, it sits on a circuit board. anyone change before?

updates 2. very satisfied with Media service center at chan sow lin. sent in 9am, 12pm fixed can collect. old uncle technician says changed circuit board.
