hansgrohe mixer

hi guys, need some advice here.

currently renovating my place - we're getting the bathrooms done already, including piping. contractor told us he needed the 'internal fixture' thing for the mixers cos that's fixed into the wall. after everything is done then we can just fit in the mixer and the shower head.

we bought hansgrohe shower head and mixers for two bathrooms. the mixers are just the normal hot/cold one, without the converter as we do not have hand shower, just the rain shower. when we bought, we were given the mixers, shower heads and also the 'internal fixture', which is called the 'HansGrohe Universal ibox'...

so we passed it to the contractor and plumber. and few days ago got these feedback:
- these items are usually only fixed in bungalows, not terrace houses (personally, i think this is a stupid excuse, but correct me if i'm wrong)
- b'cos it's meant for bungalows, the wall in terrace houses not 'thick' enough to fix it. the 'internal fixture' takes up something like 7-8 inches in depth, which only leaves 1 inch space between our wall and the neighbour's wall. if one day the neighbour decides to hack his house, it may hit the fixture, since there's only 1 inch space.
- plumber suggests we either add 1 layer of brick wall so double up the width, which is possible for master bathroom but not very possible for 2nd bathroom, cos the space is already very very small. for the 2nd bathroom, he suggest we return the mixer and ibox, which may not be possible cos we had already bought it and before that, we checked with the plumber and contractor to see what we can/cannot buy and was told we can buy anything and everything, doesn't matter at all.

anyone faced this problem before? any advice? much appreciated!

hi guys,

am looking for water filter for my home - went to neighbourhood small shop and they recommended to try Kloberz (http://www.kloberz.com.my/). i've not heard of it before and quick search on LYN shows no results.

i think it's a malaysian product but could be wrong. anyone have any insights on this? appreciate any help, thanks!

also welcoming any recommendation on filters - need one for the house (outside) and also the smaller one for inside. undergoing renovations at the moment. thanks!

any information to share about shirt accessories for men? such as sleeve holders, cufflinks, collar stiffeners, etc?

i think the long sleeve shirt is an essential part of any man's wardrobe. i love long sleeve shirts, especially from thomas pink. but for now, all i can afford is topman and esprit =(

one more thing that i'm looking for is sleeve holders. i usually fold up the sleeves of my shirt, but they never stay where i want them to stay. any idea where i can buy some sleeve holders to keep my sleeves from getting in my way?
