How should i build my PC?

With the recent rise in pricings for Ram and GPU's. (fuck you miners)

Is it better for me to cherry pick from online and shops to get the cheapest hardware. Or should i rather Buy everything from one shop?

Building a PC when the cheaper 8th Gen Motherboards are out. I3-8100 seems to be cheaper and good enough for me, but what about the I5? Rig includes a 1050Ti, 8GB DDR4. Budget under Rm3.5k without Monitor

I play games such as CS:GO, PUBG and Dota 2 (Common steam games)

I'm a Film and Video Degree student. This means i'll be doing alot of video editing and photoshop in the future. So i'm guessing the I5-8400 with 1060 should be good

Is the S7 Edge still a trend?

I'm thinking of getting a new phone. And i realised that a few people has recommended me the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The phone being close to 2 Years since the release date. Is the phone still fairing well against it's competitors? I want a phone that would last a couple of years and have a good camera!

Are armor cases such as UAG/Spigen worth it?

As the title states. Are Armor cases such as UAG and Spigen really worthed it for the price? Or is a fake Armor Case able to protect your phone like the genuine ones?

Is the I3-8100 a good processor for gaming? Planning to build a rig next year when the other 8th Gen Mobos are out. Any suggestions?

Student studying Abroad

So i will be looking to study abroad next February in Perth,Australia. And because of this, i am in need of a decent gaming laptop/work station.

My budget would be RM5k but hopefully will be below Rm4.5k
Laptop Specs would be

GTX 1050/1050Ti
I7-7700HQ
500GB/1TB HDD

Please leave suggestions below. I am really lost on what to buy.
