Guys,
i have this problem with my lappie, most of the time cannot detect the dvd drive....when dvd/cd was inserted, there is light blinking/ sound spinning but cannot view or doesn't come out in my computer icon. device manager also dun have....bios also dun have....

i'm running XP Pro....

can anybody help???

1) I heard Onkyo/Yamaha amp can upscale S-Video to HD...is it true/good??
2) there is gadget that can boost the quality....i heard lah???

When the D40X gonna come out, the Nikon website says 29th should come out already. Now i asked few shops they say dunno and worst some of them dun aware of D40X. Anybody from this forum got the inside story??
