Help needed- Monitor shows no VGA input

I'm running on XP sp3 on a dual core. Dual HDD dual DVD drive and dual 2gb ram. I believe it's running on a compatible p4 psu.
For more details, i can't tell because I can't seem to switch my pc on. When I off on my pc, it does sound like it's starting up.

This happened after I woke up. 8 hours ago, it was still running.

Story: I was awake till 4am playing an fb game, and watching a DVD series. I left my pc on to continue playing the game and off my screen then go to sleep. When I wake up, on my screen and that's when all problem arise. Means my pc sort of died while I was in bed.

Recent upgrades to my pc, 2weeks ago. Added one 2gb ram, one esata DVD drive and replaced my old IDE 80gbmaxtor HDD with new caviar blue 500gb esata HDD. Everything worked smoothly though the added ram don't seem to have Smoothen my pc, only felt that my Photoshop cs3 work better. My main HDD is still an old ide 80gb maxtor HDD.

Ive tried plugging out and in the VGA, HDD and Psu. I've done some basic diagnostic move but nothing seem to work.

My problem,
My PC doesn't have display output, doesn't sound like it has started up, and doesn't sound like starting up.

My question,
how do I diagnose which part of my pc is dead? Mobo? Display card? HDD? Psu?
Or
Suggest to me a place I could get my pc fixed, need a realiable and honest shop. Don't have to be cheap, as long as the price is reasonable and worth the work done.

Please help. Need PC to complete my work.

Toshiba Laptop Crashed

Hello people.

I've a Toshiba Laptop that fails to start after loading windows half way. As usual, upon clicking on Power button, the system loads the presets and enter the page for "f2 and f10 for etc etc". Then sometimes it straight away startup windows... loading screen... the one with the loading bar and the windows symbol loading... but right after that... blank screen or weird weird screen... like hang... with multiple shadow on top of the windows loading screen...

sometimes it would prompt me that windows didn't start up properly and give me option to do windows repair and startup or start windows normally. i click either one... it will enter another windows loading screen with the bar at the bottom. once complete, the screen goes blank again....

any idea on what happened? i tried using a secondary monitor but its not monitor problem. the CPU light is on and running the whole time...

please do help me please.... thanks~!

okay... i've a built in sound card(driver) in my motherboard... didn't install any sort of extra sound card as of now...
i've a bose companion 3 speakers... i would say... most of the music sounds decent already as i'm more towards jazz and accoustics kind.... maybe some vocals.....

what players should i use? i prefer using itunes as it convenient for me to sync and manage my music to my bb, ipodtouch and ipodshuffle...
is itunes good enough for the output and etc?

i intend to get a good earphone/headphone that i would be plugging into the bose companion 3 headphone 3.5mm jack on its volume control console....
what earphone/headphone is well recommended???
i'm contemplating between... hd555(more for using at home), cx680 (hoping to use this for my ipods too), eterna v2(with ipods too), or cx500

all advice and suggestion is very much welcome...
enjoy music but i would say... i'm still slowly picking up on it... the finer details of what you guys call high, mid and low... and bass... and etc

Good Graphic Spec

I'm seeking a couple of specs that is well within 4k but of course if you believe that 4+ would make a difference i wouldn't mind.

i just need to make sure it supports dual screens and a decent sound output.
major requirement is that i can run all the latest graphic software without having to wait too long for rendering and it doesn't lag or slow down.

CPU + screen.

softwares include ACDsee, Adobe full versions, and so forth.

preferably with two separate HDD and 6GB ram
