my mother received unwanted package

Yesterday, my mother got mail from pos laju. The delivery person said need to pay money since the package is COD. BUT, my mother never ordered anything. On the package, got her first name and home address.

She did not accept the package and now the package is back with pos laju.

Is this a prank and should my mother make police report?

Taxi / Tuk-tuk in Hatyai

Hi all. Hope someone can share his/her experience

During CNY, I will travel alone to Hatyai for leisure. This is my first time in Hatyai/Thailand alone. I know I wil have to take taxi/tuk-tuk to travel around the city. But I don't want to get conned by driver. How do I know? Any tips I should know?

So, I read between 12 am and 6 am, there will be 50% discount.....But...my question is, which point is counted? The starting point or the ending point? If I tap when I enter the highway between 12am and 6am, but exit the highway after 6am, will I still get the 50% discount?

How to activate YES Sim Card?

Hi all. I recently used purchased YES broadband + LTE. So, I have 8GB of LTE data to be used. So, I tried activating at the website, but I was unsuccessful. I, then, proceeded to a YES booth, but I was told that only a few handphones are compatible with the SIM card?!!! lol?

So, how do I activated the sim card on my phone?

I am using a Motorola Moto G.

Potential issues : Moto G does not support 4G, only 3G. As far as I know, YES only has 4G bands, no 3G... is this true? Will I be able to get 3G YES on my phone?

If that is the case, do I really have to get one of the officially suported phone from YES (like Galaxy J or something ridiculous)? Will a HTC or Sony or Moto Z or etc work as well? And how do I activate it myself? Thanks!//1

GPS and Signal Problem in Penang State

Hi all. I am using a motorola Moto G (2013) phone. I am using Umobile prepaid. In every state except Penang, my GPS location works fine. Google maps, Waze can lock on to my location and navigating is instantaneous.

However, when I enter Penang, the signal becomes really choppy and every few seconds, my GPS location cuts off. Google maps will display a "Waiting for GPS' message. It's so hard to navigate because my location is unknown.

Why is it only in Penang, this happens? I've went to all other states, and no issue at all.... I am so surprised......

So... I will be going to Japan next month. I need to change about RM 5k to Japanese Yen. I don't where to change for a good rate. Can I change it at banks (Maybank, CIMB, etc)? Can I change RM 5k at KLIA? Or should I just scout around at random money changer?

So, I have this health issue. I have been to one private clinic (Klinik Mediviron Setapak) and one private hospital. The doctor at the clinic was horrible. He did not care at all. Then, I went to KPJ Tawakkal hospital at Jalan Pahang, KL. Quite pricey, but I did not know what to do. Unfortunately, none of the medicine I received worked.

Should I go back to KPJ Tawakkal? I actually want to find somewhere else that is cheaper, but the only place I can think of is Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and I feel if I go there, the doctor will just brush off my condition as something minor...

Do any of you have recommendation for clinic or hospital (with outpatient clinic) that is not so pricey but also decent, somewhere in KL, Selangor or Putrajaya?

Where to duplicate/clone apartment access card?

I have tried searching around and I did find one. But, unfortunately, the duplicated access card did not work. So, I was wondering maybe some of you have done this....Hope to hear from you soon.
