I'm 24 this year. Doing Bachelor in Medical Science next year and will finish at 28. Going in straight to medical school right after.

Will I be too old? Sometimes I felt anxious if I'm going to be left out with no friends.

(I'm doing Graduate Entry to Medicine)

Retaking SPM Bio Subject as Private Candidate

Hello,

I just have a question. Planning to take MBBS however the requirement needed you to have all 3 sciences subjects during SPM. I have Physics and Chemistry, but not Biology.

Planning to take Biology as private candidate, but the thing that bothers me is that how are you supposed to do the practical paper 3 if you never even been in Biology labs ? I just don't understand why they did not offer alternative to practical like IGCSE did.

I took SPM in 2018, theres no practical even for Phy & Chem during my time. I don't want to option for IGCSE since its very expensive when I can just take SPM Biology for like RM30.

Planning to take in Dec'25 SPM, is 1 year sufficient enough for me to learn all the practicals available without actually have experience of touching any labs equipments ? I'm just very anxious, don't want to look clueless and embarassed, cuz I know if we skip paper 3 then our whole Bio paper will be failed.

Paper 3 Biology SPM

Hi guys,

I have few questions regarding Paper 3 SPM Biology. For your info, I'll be taking this subject as a private candidate who haven't been in lab at all.

1. How many experiments are there that could come out in Paper 3 ?

2. Are all the experiments fixed, and won't be a new experiment that haven't been done by students ?

3. My fear is the unguided paper 3 (no procedures) where I had to do it alone with no guide, what would be your tips on the experiment ? Do I have to keep constantly study all the experiments that had been taught ?

Thank you.

SPM Register subject

Hi,

I took SPM back in 2018. Right now I wanted to pursue my study on Medicine however I did not meet the requirements set by MMC. I took Physical Science when I was in Secondary school (Physics, Addmaths & Chemistry). The subject that I lack of is Biology. I did take Biology during my foundation studies, so that should be okay.

I want to know if its possible to only register one Biology subject as a private candidate for this upcoming SPM. I asked KPM about this, but still waiting for a reply.

Retaking SPM

Hi.

I'm considering of retaking SPM Biology subject as private candidate for SPM (I was a 2018 candidate) . After SPM, I did my foundation in science and scored really well. I wanted to apply for MBBS since being a surgeon has always been my passion since I was a kid. However, I did not fulfill the minimum entry requirement set by MMC, which is I did not have Biology subject during SPM. (I took physical science class during secondary school which only have Chemistry, Physics, Addmaths & Accounting).

Surprisingly I did well during my foundation for Biology even though I did not quite have the basic. My only question is, will you think I can score well for SPM Biology, if I really HATE plants?? I only love the science behind human, have not been a fan for plants though.

I am turning 22 years old next year, so should I? Unless theres another path for me to take?

WTA - CS COURSE PREPARATION?

Hi,

I'm really interested in learning CS after my SPM. Next year I will be in Form 5. To be honest, I don't have any knowledge in this field nor programming. So, I would like to prepare next year before I pursue my study in CS. Can anyone tell me what should I prepare and any recommended things I should do? Learn to code, where? Oh, and I'm planning to take AUP in INTI.

Moreover, I actually tried to learn the most basic for beginner which is "Hello World". But I can't even understand why do you need the word "print" or whatever symbols in that. I'm afraid I can't grab the basic 'cause I can't even understand this simple thing.

Lastly, from what language I should start first? Everyone said Phyton. And can you arrange from the most easiest language to the hardest?

*Bonus question: I knew that physics involved in CS. But, what does "Radioactivity" has to do with CS? For me, personally, there are many topics in Physic that doesn't related to CS.

I'm more to the Game Development area of CS. If you guys have some time, please check youtube channel "Sbel" / "Sbel02" (I forgot which one) . He recreate Life is Strange (3ps point of view game). That is so AMAZING! Thats what I'm really interested to do. NOT a car game from above point of view liddat, worh. Here is the link of one of his work: https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=517s&v=_q5veYPCmZo

Thank you.
