Hi sifus,

need advice and sanity check for new PC that i plan to buy around April. 10 years old PC is dying and need a new replacement. no plan to upgrade for at least 5 years, and aim to use it for 10 years. the most heavy task it going to run is gaming at 1080p @ 60FPS.

CPU : AMD 5600 or 5800x3d? Have the budget for 5800x3d, but not sure if it is worth it. Given that i do play 4X game occasionally and going to use this CPU for 10 years.
GPU : AMD 7600. or is there any better value GPU in the market?
Mobo : ASROCK Steel legend b550m. Not sure if this mobo is suitable / durable for my use case.
Ram : 32GB @ 3600. is this suitable? Any brand recommendation?
SSD : 1TB. Any brand recommendation?
Case : Any MATX recommendation?
PSU : thinking of master cooler V650 Gold V2. is this ok?

Hi,

my road tax expiring tomorrow, and just now when i go to pos office to renew, they say all roadtax that expire on May have to wait until June baru can renew. instruction from jpj it seems.

Any confirmation on this? Don't want to get into situation where roadblock and cannot show valid roadtax. insurance already renew last month.

Just now when bathing, suddenly mid way, heard a "tak" sound and the water stop coming out of the water heater. Any idea what happen and how to fix it?

I mean, if the water heater is faulty, surely just no hot water ma, why no cold water coming out?

Checked other pipe, all have water, just water heater not water come out.

1) All other tap and water faucet in the house have water

2) Have power to the water heater.

3) How to fix the elcb thinggy? Ntg trip tho so far.

4) main focus for tonight is to get COLD water running.

SECOND EDIT: Just called Elton, they said their ELCB no safety feature of stopping water. And they dont know what is the issue :/

FINAL EDIT: it fix itself after a while. Guess its ELCB tripped. in this case, repair or replace? THANKS FOR EVERYONE HELP

Question about leaking to downstairs neighbor

Hi guys, need to know who to pay what.

Last week, building management informed me that my downstairs neighbor complain about water sign in their ceiling. The building's technician had come and fixed the issue and patched everything back.

So now building management want me to pay for the make good fee of ceiling. Is this normal? Do note that our building is still under the warranty period, hence the pipe fixing is bear by developer, but the ceiling need to bear by me?

Replacing kitchen sink into bigger one

Hi,

I'm planning to replace my 1 hole kitchen sink to those 2 hole sink.

But IKEA say because my countertop is wood type, so they cannot drill a bigger hole, they asked me to replace the whole countertop.

I doubt that is really the case and they just want to cheat me.

Anyone can recommend contractor to do such job? Living at wangsa maju if that helps
