Time fiber in kuantan

Time fiber seen in kuantan, landed. In Indera Mahkota 8 area. Does any insider know how far it is going to expand?

Another part in kuantan Maxis is laying their fibre rapidly. But it stopped within air putih, alor akar, sri kuantan etc area only.

Interesting that time has reached kuantan. Will definitely switch to time as soon as it becomes available.

TM Unifi’s poles are already falling down. they seem to lack proper maintenance.

Router keeps dc and rc

Hi any sifu or taiko here can show me the ropes? My office network keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Particularly the router Internet light will turn red and my router will say wan disconnected.
It reconnects 1-2 minutes afterwards.

I was using Asus AX3000
I also notice inconsistent Internet speed ( i am subscribing to unifi 1gbps)

This is the setup of my network

BTU - > ROUTER - > SWITCH - > PCs + access points + IP cctvs

My Devices are connected via cat6 cable.

At first i suspected the cables, which then i swapped all with new one. The problem persisted. I called TM to arrange technician for further checking.

Last week TM technician came and checked my fiber signal reading, he said normal.

Last 2 days, I replaced my router with tplink BE550

After 2 days, today, the same problem happens again.

Anyone know what can be the possible reason?

Thank you.

Hi. This is my first time, in fact, purchasing(using) international roaming service for my mum. She is travelling to china soon. She is using my supplimentary line.

I have scheduled an automatic roaming activation.
I have turned off call forwarding, voice mail, and international roaming of main line.

What else do i need to do? After she reaches China and turn on the phone then the line will be automatically connected?

Hi.

Back in old days, we can subscribe to both unifi and maxis fiber together (Unifi on VLAN 1, maxis fiber on vlan 2)
I am an old fiber user here. I have unifi on my vlan1 and maxis fiber on Vlan2

now when we want to change to other fiber provider, we have to go to tmpoint to request for service transfer right?

in my case, what if i wanna cancel my unifi and continue using maxis fiber?

Will cancelling my unifi also closes my fiber port?

anyone has similar experience can share? thank you

Anyone using digi fibre? Any feedback?

Anyone using digi fibre? Any feedback? Planning to switch over my maxis one prime 500mbps(rm219) + maxis postpaid Rm98 to

Spending rm317 monthly for maxis line.
Maxis postpaid is getting unstable these days. And very hard to get support, and very arrogant to deal with, i think (in my very personal opinion and experience)

Digi fiber 500mbps (rm140) + digi unlimited postpaid (rm150)

For this i will be spending rm290 for digi
Anyone using digi fibre? Does it supports public IP? In term of routing?

Thank you.
Resolved : Unifi mobile terminated my number

So i noticed that my prepaid number is no longer in service since yesterday. The number was previously mnp from hotlink and originally from celcom xpax (013)
I mnp to maxis and used for 8-9 years and last year i port to unifi for its never expiring credit and validity.

I have a main number which is a postpaid and actively using right now. Just that i wanna preserve my old number that been following me since 13 years ago.

I have contacted unifi mobile live chat and they said that my number is terminated due to failure to perform ocr verification. This makes me super curious as this never happened to me before when I was using maxis nor celcom. And i passed my ic and identity verifications during my mnp process into unifi mobile service.

The agent told that this is under the order of mcmc to terminate those unverified numbers.

They said they have sent numerous notifications but I did not receive even 1. And to my surprise they did not even send a single warning to my registered email before terminating my number.
They terminate my number as if no one is currently using the number and like this number belongs to them.

I then requested to reactivate my number but they said cannot reactivate a terminated number.

I've checked with mcmc mnp query system and seems that the number is still undet tm.

I also went to celcom to check whether the number already returned to them. To no avail they didn't have that number in system. I can be very sure that the number is still with tm.

Anyone knows what happened to a terminated mnp number? Will it return to the original telco number pool?

Hi. I am looking for an affordable router for my company. My company is like a small ngo. With 20 staff in a office and sometimes would broadcast the wifi for public use during some occasions.

I am using unifibiz 800mbps.

Would prefer to have bandwidth control function and high stability as the router is also connected with cctv and other cloud services.

And also with guests login function for wifi. Will mikrotik hap ac2 work in this situation? Thank you.

incompetent maxis technician aka maxpert

Last week i was doing some internal renovation that I need to relocate my fiber btu (within my same house)

I am a maxis one prime user with a 4g dongle given and attached to my router.

What I expected was that, the connection will switch to 4g and my connection will run seamlessly without interruption.

To my surprise, I faced intermittent connections and each time I log into 192.168.0.1, it showed invalid sim or sim is not detected.

So i plugged back my btu and called up maxis. It was 12.00 midnight and maxis scheduled a call back from the technical department.

At that moment, my router and btu was completely working fine.

The next day a guy from technical department called and asked a few questions before scheduling for maxpert visit on tueaday (3/12/19)

And too, the guy suspected dongle and sim card problem and said that maxpert will come and fix the dongle for me(so I expected that they will replace a new one for me as mine still in warranty)

The appointment was fixed Tuesday at 2pm and I quickly drove home from work.

Maxpert called at 2pm and said that he was handling case and will come to my house at 3.30pm. Ok fine, i waited until 3.30pm and another call from him telling that he will come shortly.

I waited until 4+pm and 2 Maxpert reached my home

So I managed to connect everything back in one place and let the Maxperts diagnose. I told him the problem but they ignored. They said they have to follow the sop by troubleshooting the devices first.

One of the Maxpert unplugged my fiber from TM BTU without my consent and plugged it into a fiber reader. And it showed normal reading which is 22

Another maxpert came in and roughly plug back the fiber to my btu. I was totally shocked as to my knowledge, the fiber is so delicate that even myself would not touch it roughly.

Ok fine,

The maxpert then logged into my router and set again my pppoe id n password. And since then, my router pppoe would not connect.

They then unplug my 4g dongle and showed to me that my vlan621 was missing thus my pppoe would not connect.

They plugged in the 4g dongle and the Internet up again.

And at that point, they concluded that my 4g dongle is working fine and there was a problem from TM side which caused the pppoe to stopped working.

So I am pretty confident that there was no issue with TM btu and vlan as the pppoe worked perfectly fine until they came in and set my pppoe credentials.

I told them a few times, and I clued them "maybe this is due to wrong username or password? Can you try again or even reset my router? “

The technicians kept on plugging in and out my 4g dongle and showed me that my 4g dongle is working.

Now that my pppoe stopped working.

I took a chair, sat down together with them and guide them step by step.
I told them to reset my router and keying in again my id n password.

However, they refused to do so and continued to write the pink form and insisted that they will arrange for a join test with TM.

I again asked them "do u know what you guys are doing?"

And they asked me to signed the pink color form and said that Tm will come. And they requested to leave.

After they left, I reset my router and keyed in my id n password. And the pppoe worked again.

So they left without fixing my dongle. And left me with another problem.

I then went to maxis center to changed my sim card and now my 4g dongle is working normally.

Ps: i am a IT personnel with 6+ years of working experiences.
And I was a Maxis reseller.

I faced similar problems with my maxis clients until I have to attend to my customer sites to solve the problems which should have been solved by maxperts. (eg, messing up with customers internal ip configurations, left customers premise without solving problem, wrong diagnosis)

Yes the customer will firstly reach to the reseller first when they face internet problems.

And failure of maxperts to solve issues literally burden the customers and even the resellers.

I am located in kuantan. And i think I have to bring this to the attention of maxis. And i think this is one of the reasons why people prefer to choose your competitors rather than your service. Normal users would not know what is happening when they face Internet outage. They have to depend on maxperts.

Things get more difficult when incompetent maxperts unable to solve even simple problem and create more serious problems.

Sincerely,
Loyal maxis user

Hi anyone managed to get the voip up?
I am able to get the voip up when connecting the custom router lan4(voip port with vlan tagging 822) to tplink wan port

But with the same layout and configuration i can't get the voip to up on aminia ma131. Any sifu here?

Cause my client is not using huawei btu. If he is using huawei btu then i can set the voip directly to the btu

Custom maxis fibre router with voip function

Currently i am using my own router which is already great, but in order to use the voip function, i would connect LAN4(which i configured the vlan for voice and connect to maxis stock router)

I found this troublesome and it occupies space. Anyone familar with maxis fibre and is there any custom router with voip?
