where i share about how a colleague of mine violate the flexi system of my company.

Recently, we got plenty of short project to do and she have been assigned to handle a few but we kind of doubting on her capabilities to handle it

so my boss did help her a lot includes providing guidelines, ideas, best practises , testing so that she may pickup and handle it perfectly.

***talk about some history of her from working standpoint.....she is lazy, not interested in testing, like to flirt with client, talk a lot and knows nothing, likes to act as a senior (just bcz she is old) and having bad social communication skill.

So come back to the story.....those projects that she handle has finally comes to the date of cutoff and go live

Just one day before the BIG day........something strange or i could say MIRACLE happen

She told us that she consult a clinic on her triggering depression and the doctor does not allow her to leave ended up she being brought to hospital for admission

Not few days ago, not few weeks ago, not yesterday but its 1 days before the project cutoff? WOW!!! it just WOW

All of a sudden, my teammates have to pickup all the shit and do the follow up

Until now, i am still stunned , i never expect her will go until this extent just to avoid committing to a job that she suppose to do

Legit or not on her condition i don't know and its not up to me to judge, only god knows and she knows

But this type of coincidence is so fake that i start to doubt my trust on her (actually i no longer trust her )

my company working culture can be describe as fully flexible

Although we have a standard working hour but we can in-out according to our needs as long as we report to our boss who is usually a 'yes' and 'OK' guy

Here comes 1 daring colleague who started to take for granted on this flexible system

Actually me and my boss have been monitor her since she start to act like she owns the company but we are trying our best to transmit the information to her in good manner by hinting her about her snake attitude

How she violate the system? here comes the stories....

--->> She likes to take long leave (not few days but few weeks), up to June this year, she had taken nearly a month of leave in separate month going for trip and visit her hometown, my HR told my boss that her leave quota had change to negative value but my boss said "its fine, lets see how far she can go"

--->> Early of the year she told us she got depression and she is seeking for GH so she request my boss to treat it as off record absent because visiting GH will require long hour of waiting. Guess what, almost every week or every 2 weeks got consultation

>> I am not sure how GH treat depression patients but i do recommend her some professional who can help her and the reply i got is....."its expensive" (actually she is quite rich)

--->> Recently she told us again on her health issue, suddenly her ear had 1 sided deaf and require medical attention, so now she is seeking GH again and require another sequence of consultation for every 2 weeks

--->> On the daily working routine, everyday she comes in office around 1130-12pm (yes, this is not typo), basically the time when she come, we are all ready for lunch. She never explain why she is late but sometimes she will say she had insomnia due to her depression

--->> Regarding on the time of off work, its normal...she also follow our time which is 5pm to go off (imagine....coming in at lunch time and off at 5pm....only work for 3-4 hours max only) BEST ever !!!

---she likes to throw midnight job to us especially onsite project (her reason is : its dangerous for a lady to go out that late) .....then why choose this line of career?

So....up to this point

Will you guys felt demotivated if you working with this snake or ? its just normal?

My wedding dinner event completed last week, very successful, me and my wife are very blissful and everything is just nice and perfect

But somehow, someway, there are certain group of people (which i could expect) that will suddenly pop up in your phone messages corner and tell you "i can't attend due to ....blah blah blah"

its fine because forcing people to come is a crime, organize event like this are meant for blessing each other but not cursing each other

So what is the most creative excuses i got during this span of time?
Its actually just 3 days before (not even a week or a month before) where these people come to me (message) and say "NO, count me out"

1st (3 days before, very good friend)
- hey, my son is sick, i don't think i can attend
**excuse me, you can even foresee that your son will sick for 3 days

2nd (3 days before, colleague)
- yo bro, my car broke down la, i think i cannot make it to your dinner
**grab , uber, taxi or can even ask other colleague to fetch what? right?

3rd (2 days before, friend)
- hey, my who who who who passed away, i think cannot la, later you bad luck
**who is your who who who? LOL, she can't even know the relationship

4th (1 day before, good friend)
- yo bro, i am outstation tomorrow, sorry ya
**what else i can say?

5th (3 hours before, good friend)
- hey, my leg is pain, i have to do treatment today, sorry ya
**wow, just pain for today? yesterday no pain?

Finally, most epic one, on the time the wedding held (good friend)
- aiyo, i forgot to tell you, i fly to xxx country already, sorry ya

is it creative? it is so laughable for me

for their seats, sorry, they don't give any angpow, they just assume they are virtually there and support me, so its empty and i have to imagine myself that they are there

its all about gain and loss..lesson learned

My future wife is an ex designer & photographer in bridal industry, she understand the business of bridal shop pretty well and she also know how to differentiate the good and bad on the outcome of the photo-shooting so when comes to signing up pre-wedding package, she is very particular on attire selection + photo taking skill.

When we discuss about the option , she told me that she got a friend who is very good in photo taking and he started to expand his business from a small shop to a landed house shop like how all the bridal businesses happening in SS2

We went to his shop, talk about almost everything and we found out that his offer is quite good, the main buying factor of his package is
1) all soft copy will be given
2) there will be a short clip (a minute of video capturing moments and we need to do some act on it)
3) new dresses and attire will be added in his closet as he start to expand his shop (we have had browse through his closet, its not that convincing as most of the dresses are too out-dated and old, if we got no choice and have to choose, its either 1 or 2 dresses which looks acceptable only)

Then comes to the part where he wanna push us to sign up, saying that
1) the price will be different once he move his shop
2) soft copy will not be given in full and will charge accordingly
blah blah blah

Eventually, my wife said okay, lets take up this package. DONE and settle, a portion of payment made and we are so excited for that journey

-After 3 months, 2 weeks before the photo shooting date, we had book some venue in Malacca for that purpose and we got to choose attire from his shop.
-Boom, the so called new attire still haven't reach, my wife looks not happy already and ended up only able to pick 1 dresses
-Then she have to go to another bridal shop to rent , have to spend non-necessary amount of money
-After that my wife trying to bargain with him about enhancing and added some value for replacement in our package, all he can do is enlarge our photo printing and add in more photo in the album (gosh, these shit are cheap and nonsense)

So, nothing we can do right, just accept it

Finally, photo shooting day have arrive, as usual, since this is outstation event, we have to cover petrol/lunch/dinner for photographer and makeup artist.
Settled everything, very happy and tired and we all go back to KL for another outcome review set to be few weeks after

One day, my wife told me he request for petrol expenses, which is fine as we still haven't pay them.
Guess what, KL-Malacca-KL, he ask for RM200 ?? seriously?? is he driving a GTR
My wife said nvm, we can't argue much, just pay

-Now, we have collected everything, the album, the printing etc
-Suddenly, he told my wife, he couldn't make the video clip because the short video he took that day got problem and he don't think it will work
-My wife do have some skill in video editing and he even dare to ask my wife to try it out and create a better one (such a bastard)
-this is starting to get worse and spoiling mood and he acted like the clip thing is an extra shit, so he don't care about completing it since 90% of the payment is made

My wife just bear on it and proceed. Comes to the day of selecting outfit for dinner and actual day, finally his so called new attire has arrived. (only 2 dresses )

-when my wife look at those attire, she nearly puke because it is too ugly
-end up she have to go to another bridal shop to rent 2 more dresses, spent another non-necessary amount of money again

I am not going to reveal which shop is it since his business is really sucks by looking at it and i don't think he can make it for another few years as well

The only lesson learned is doing business with friend is so frustrated because friend used to take for-granted on things that they assume to ignore.

The gain that we had is his amazing photo shoot but other than that, sucks af...........

straight to the point
own 3 phone
1) note 4, age 4 years
2) s7 edge , age 2 years
3) note FE , age 3 days

1) note 4 motherboard spoiled , ask SC, need 800+
2) s7 edge screen panel blackout , ask SC, need 1100+
3) after s7 edge die and not willing to fix, bought note FE, only 3 days old
found out GPS couldn't detect, sensor lost function
sent to SC, cannot exchange 1 to 1 , only can claim warranty and fix, end up change whole motherboard

now a bit scare of using this new phone as x know what component will spoil after

all phone owned before are considered high end at their generation and yet this is their lifespan

i know not everyone encounter this but it seems too consistent in this sequential event and does it consider as super unlucky or their mobile quality is getting "worse"?

An Invitation card quoted at RM11 per piece !

Me and my future wife signed up a wedding dinner package that comes along with FREE 5 pieces of invitation card for each table that we have booked

so total up there would be roughly 100+ FREE invitation card that we have got from the restaurant and the manager issued a voucher for us to choose the design and claim it at a printing

shop. Below is the detail of the shop

**Last Saturday we visited the shop for design selection and printing detail . My wife comes up with her own design and discuss with the shop personnel to see if her design can be replace

with the existing FREE card and we would roughly need about 100 cards only which is far more lesser than initial FREE cards amount , so below is the conversation between my wife and

the personnel that is working on that day. I named her as [Ms S ] which stand for sohai

wife : hi ms S, i have my own design and i only need 100 pieces of cards, can i give you the design and print it to replace the FREE one?

ms S : Sure can but there would be additional charges for that because you need color print and extra folding layer

wife : Okay, so how do you calculate and charge? can you provide me the figure?

ms S : Ya, we calculate by DEDUCTING the FREE cards cost and the TOP UP cost would be the charges

**She went to her place, clicking her noisy calculator, after a while .....

ms S : I have calculated , there would be extra RM11

Me : Excuse me, only extra RM11 ? looks cheap

ms S : Oh sorry, its extra RM11 per piece

Me : After deduct the FREE card cost and still need RM11 per piece?

ms S : ya

**My wife open the calculator app on her phone and press 100x11= RM 1100 , she press it again because we still couldn't believe it

Me : Its fine ms S, we will stick back to the original FREE card and please print out 120 pieces as agreed

ms S : Okay then

wife : Oh ya Ms S, since we are organizing the dinner at both location, can I request to print 60 cards at one address and another 60 cards for another?

ms : Can, there would be addition RM150 for copyright changes

Me : Ms S, i am only request to change address, the design , printing material is still the same, does it really need to charge for RM150?

Ms S : Ya, we still need our designer to change it so there would be additional services charges for that

Wife : I am a designer, can i change it and you just print it?

Ms S : **silent**

Me : Okay nvm, just proceed with the default printing

Ms S : Oh ya, for the customization just now, i can give you a special price at 8.50 per piece, is it okay for you?

Me : NO

Ms S : Nvm, this is my name card, you can call me if you need anything

We leave the shop and went to another printing shop and ordered 200 pieces of card with different address @ 100 pieces each set, total cost is RM144

Our intention is to see whether can replace it with our own design but we encountered this kind of seller who think everyone that comes to them is "water fish"

By the way, actually we can just tell the shop we don't need their printing card since we already insist to use our own but i just want to waste their resources since it is FREE !

Damn sohai charging a stupid card at this type of price !!!

How you evaluate Car Tint after completion?

Went to this M-Pro tint shop to do car tint for my new car. I never participate as the car agent bundle this together with the car promotion so he is the one who sent it over.

After completion, I found out all my 4 side windows having some small bubbles at the side corner, all 4 , not 1,2 or 3.
The technician told me the bubbles is a normal symptom as i need to let my car to absorb some SUN UV then only it can be resolve '
Fine, i am not a tint specialist and since that technician is so firm and proud with his work then i should follow his advise
2 weeks after tinted, none of the bubbles went away, all are still there, no more no less.

My gf got irritated by those bubbles and ask me to follow up and fix it

Went to the Tint shop, a sales manager approach me and see my car condition, he said OK but the film is finished, just re-order and haven't reach
I call up their admin , she said it might get ready on Thursday

Today I go there, a technician come over and look at my car, the first sentence he said is
" Do you expect 0 bubble for tint? " , he look at me and smile?

I stare at him for a while and ask him, so what can you do about it? he look around , check this and that and said only can replace 1 side which is bubbled obvious window, other he said cannot.
Suddenly the sales manager come out and greet me again saying the film haven't reach and will let me know again

So, WTH is all this shit? is the bubble is so freaking normal for tint?
I did few cars ald for my own family and my previous car, i never find bubble as an issue because i haven't seen one but now this expensive tint tells me that bubble is normal

Weird !

23 October 2017 : Today my new car agent follow up with my tint issue, i told him the whole story about what i have gone through and he is quite piss with it.
After few hours from our conversation, a lady called from the tint shop asking me whether i had got some bad treatment from the staff when i visited the shop for fixing. I confronted her with another round of story telling and she apologize and promise me that they will fix my car promptly by tomorrow morning

Hope they can fulfill those promises, lets see again tomorrow

24 October 2017 : Went to the shop sharp at 10am, the sales manager greeted me and the first thing he ask " Where is the bubbles " ? Obviously this type of question has proven how unprofessional he is. I lead him to all the bubbled windows, to be exact are 4 side windows and rear window.

He look around , stare around and suddenly he said " I have to pre-notified you that 1-2 small bubble is hardly to avoid ya " , fine then just see what's the outcome.
The whole process to replace took about near 2 hours, the high class manager never even participate during the replacement, all he did is sitting at his best seat and using his PC and talking phone

When everything is done, the technician ask me to check the condition, I browse through, considered better than the previous issue then he said I can drive back and bye bye.

The sales manager? Don't even bother about it, so i just took my stuff and go

The TRUE lesson behind is :

1) Never buy the so called "cheapest" tint in a shop where all the package are above RM2k, even you spend 500-1k for the tint, they will look at you like a low class buyer
2) Never expect to claim warranty so easily without argue, these people basically are blind when you tells them there is some issue with the tint, they even ask you where is it? funny
3) When you bought a cheap tint, the expectation that those seller will give is " few bubble is hardly to avoid "

Most importantly, they provide their service base on what you purchase, why?
Because when i went to the waiting room, TV is off, air cond is on and still so damn hot inside, no shit given at all although i sit there for 2 hours

Finally, I would like to reveal the shop, like it or not, judge yourself

If you guys have money, buy the most expensive package, they will treat you like a KING. If no budget and go cheap, then please go to the kopitiam beside drink coffee better.

B segment Car comparison for year end 2017

Here it is, since many have been requested me to put in more option for references, so i try my best to list out all the available current B segment cars with its current promotion.

*Remarks : I am not salesman, I am not a fans for any car i mentioned, all the information is based on facts and 100% transparency.

So, currently there are few B segment cars that will be on the list

1) Toyota Vios : 3k and above rebates , depends on model, some model bundle with accesories , 5 years unlimited warranty 6 times free labor service , interest rate @2.6% and above
2) Honda City : 4k , added some so called freebies ,5 years unlimited warranty 6 times free labor service , interest rate @2.6% and above
3) Volkswagen Vento : 10k rebates , 5 years unlimited warranty , 5 years free service including parts and labor , interest rate @0.28(5y), 0.88(7y), 1.28(9y)
4) Nissan Almera : 7k and above , 7 years unlimited warranty, service package is based on options, interest rate 2.8% and above
5) Proton Persona : 2k and above , 5 years/150,000km warranty, 5 years free serive including parts and labor , interest rate @3.2 and above
6) Kia Rio Sedan : 10k and above , 5 years unlimited warranty, 3 years free serive including parts and labor , interest rate @2.6 and above

So comes to the calculation (I use basic spec as references)

Personal Thoughts :
1) If you prefer resale value : Go Toyota Honda (On the road, basically 6 out of 10 are from these brand, even Proton also have to stay away)
2) If you on budget : May consider Nissan Almera because the offer is so changeable, there is no fix offer on this car, so you can be daring enough to request until you satisfied.
3) If you really very tight on budget and still have to buy one : Go for Persona, not because it is the cheapest among all but you can have a peace of mind as you won't be worry about service cost and warranty for 5 years, although the interest rate is high but the commitment is still low, resale value also not bad.
4) If you look at overall costing , Vento looks pretty good because of its low interest + high rebates package. It will only be a good deal if you are not the type of owner who change car every 3-5 years. Due to the uncertain resale value on the market, its not worthy to own a VW for short term. Regarding parts and after sales service, it might be a headache but consider it covered along 5 years, you should be getting some confident.
Remarks : Try to avoid turbo spec although they have claim that it is fixed and having huge improvement
5) If you prefer good looking interior but still not able to afford above 70k, go for Rio Sedan. Kia brand is famous of its interior and features.
6) If your concern is only on FC, then go for Vios, City and Vento. If on budget then go for Vento
7) If your concern is on security, then it depends on how you look at the feature to be secure. For this one, it is a lot to be argue so its up to personal preferences.
8) If your concern is on good looking, my taste of choice would be Vento. Classic, simple and classy but if you are more into sporty, then definitely is City
9) If you prefer features above everything, then go for City or Vios
