Commandos Glock 5 Gen 2 Review

Hi everyone, it’s been awhile I posted some reviews here.

And after some old inquiries of some users ask me to review the Commandos Glock 5 Gen 2 by Tech Armory and here we are. Although the model itself its not the latest model in the market but im doing the review now because it is still a good machine and its main perk that its CPU is using a desktop CPU and can be upgraded, this feature is really value for some performance hungry user especially for processing power to have where you can upgrade to a better cpu chip whenever you need.

Front view with my other stuff, It is a chunky unit weight at 2.35kg including the battery, but considering the upgradeability, the NTSC 72% with 100% sRGB IPS monitor and the price, i can get over the slightly heavy machine.

SuperPosition Benchmark (1080P High): 57 degree Celsius maximum

SuperPosition Benchmark (1080P Medium): 52 degree Celsius maximum

FF15 Benchmark: 1080p Standard Total Score at 4952, but the temperature monitoring with MSI afterburner, only show the temperature keeping at a nice 48-57 degree

is Illegear Onyx worth the deal?

Went to IT Expo at Midvalley last week and saw Illegear demo their Onyx unit which caught my attention of the price and spec. But I rarely saw Illegear's laptop reviews and user reviews, Though I manage to try it out and it feels great with the brown mechanical keyboard and it is lightweight.

So I wish to ask every experience user around here, is the Onyx which is much cheaper than other brands model that also come with the same build and spec, price at RM6,299 (RTX2060) worth the deal?

Laptop AMD vs Intel chip

Wish to ask regarding the performance and your opinion between Intel and AMD chip. From what I check with Passmark score check and other benchmark by reviewers, AMD score are relatively lower than Intel In the test which require more than 1 core.

Aside from relatively cheap, is there worth to getting an AMD chip when it comes to laptop? Nowadays hardly any software or game would run on single Core.

MSI GT76 Leak before Computex

I saw this leak at at Notebook Check for the MSI GT76 which look friggin dope at the exterior. Since this is a Titan model i guess the performance definitely around RTX2070 and above and i got no comment on the price based on their previous GT model. But worth checking out.

Dell allows cheating in PUBG?

Last week on Dell's press conference, their vice-president of Dell said top gamers can really use 8th-Gen power to "run more plugins to win more at Chicken Dinner". This is literary promoting cheats

If anyone already have dell's 8th gen laptop, would really like to know the result.

MSI GE63VR GTX1060 Light Review

Hi everyone! Today I will be doing a light review on the new MSI GE63VR - 7RE Raider is a 15.6-inch gaming notebook that weighs about 2.4 kg (~5.3 lbs). This model currently available for RM7,199 (same price with my purchase), with the twin red racing stripes on the chassis tell you everything from stylish to performance.

The device is powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7-7700HQ accompanied by 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of dedicated VRAM. Its special feature is a 120-Hz 3MS TN screen . Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the device, which is equipped with a 128-GB NVMe SSD and a 1-TB HDD (7200rpm). Of course, it still features a SteelSeries keyboard, with individual key back-lighting instead of the successor's zoned back-lighting. MSI has also installed the usual Gamer software package including Dragon Center, SteelSeries Engine and MSI True Color etc.

This model also have a little gimmick to ease your frustration, where the USB slot will always glow in red for user to find the USB slot easily, and an easy way to spot your configuration key while pressing FN key.

Fan Performance and Design

the GE63/GE73VR models comes with dual Whirlwind Blade fans and 7 heat pipes become Cooler Boost 5 and 4 exhaust way which able to keep the laptop at a very optimal temperature.

I tested with 3D Mark 11 Benchmark (Both extreme and performance setting), and Final Fantasy 14 Online Benchmark (Max setting). The below are the scores:

Overall, the score were high and the speed were fast, and the temperature is at satisfactory area where around 75'c during the benchmark. Will do this much as for now, If i have the time I will try and do more regarding this model.

P.S. The sound system of this GE63VR is great!

MSI GS63 7RD Stealth

Hi, I'm helping a friend of mine to do some research. Due to work he need to travel around (by plane) and he often game wherever he goes. His budget is around 9k+ and wish to go light weight and we notice MSI GS63 or 73 came with the suitcase that look absolutely awesome.

Which one to choose?

Hi guys, i looked through the buying guides at this forum and got most of the idea to choose my laptop. But I still in dilemma which to buy due to the brand and stuff.

My budget is below RM6,000 and wish to use the laptop for graphic designing + not too heavy gaming and wish to have specific spec:

1) i7-770HQ
2) GTX 1050 or 1060 (is the difference that much?)
3) Display size the bigger the better
4) with SSD is better since i need to render a lot of stuff.

I looked through many brand and got recommended to go for Asus, Acer, MSI, Illegear and Leenovo. And all have good review. So i wish to ask about your experience with the laptop / brand and some recommendation would be nice too.

Update: Also wish to know how well the brand servicing etc if possible
