Buying secondhand ecu any issues?

Hi guys, my myvi is going to change to a wired-in aftermarket ecu management example links, haltech..., my tuner recommend me a secondhand aftermarket wired-in ecu which was used for a proton car.
Is it a good idea to purchase the secondhand ecu and use with it or purchase a brand new one? Using the secondhand ecu will have any issues? Any difference if tuning with the secondhand and new ecu?

Improve brake system for MYVI ICON

Hi guys, anyone knows how to improve the brake system for Myvi Icon*? I found that the brake system for this gen myvi is worse than the other gens, it requires to press the brake pedal deeper/further then the brake only start to makan. Is it the problem due to the master cylinder pump or brake booster/servo or others? How to improve it? please help
