hmm... im just undergraduate who currently undergo my internship. And this period of 4 months so far is the period where i exposed to the real job market... according to my manager now in my company, he mentioned that oil and gas company is the company that provide the best remuneration package.. follow by the consultant and then only the normal factory....
The oil and gas based company that i encounter so far will be Slumberger, Hally, Exxon, Shell, Bp and also Petronas.... I got few question that running in my mind now which i really cant get the answer....
1. How an ee engineer can major in this field....?(coz normally they looking for the petroleum, chemical and mechanical)....
2. How will be the job scope and environment?
3. I heard that it is a this kind of company treat u as a slave bcoz of lonf working hour and very2 pressure... else they wont pay u so high.... izit true..??
4. If u work for slum for example, if u din work offshore ur pay will be no much diff from the normal engineer... izit true...??

That will be the question that running in my mind, as im choosing my career path to be a software development engineer or the oil & gas based field engineer.... In 4 months time i'll be back to my uni to choose my major and im still confuse of what im going to be.... Really searching for all bros here for guidance...
