Pregnancy Test/Check

Hi all,

My wife told me that she has positive in pregnancy test, i think currently her period is late for like 3 weeks .
May I know when should we go for actual checkup?
We are staying around equine park, so where should we go for the first time? Government Hospital or Private?

If government, the nearest is Hospital Serdang.
If Private, nearest is Columbia Puchong.

Any experience mama can brief through the process? many tq.

Court case on car accident

Hi all,

A fren of mine involves in a car accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle early this year. My fren was driving a hilux, then during cornering a motorcycle collides with his car. End up the motorcyclist is dead, motorcycle total lost. Fren was fine, hilux was fine also.
Police report has been made just after the incident, but then after no updates was given by the police.
Then out of sudden, my fren received a lawyer letter issued by the victim's family stated that they've filed a court case and wanna claim around 20k from my fren due to his carelessness of driving which causes the death of the victim.
May I know is it legal to do that? Since the case is still under investigation, what should be done? Get a lawyer? He really no idea now as the accident was not really his fault.
Please really need advise here for what needs to be done next. Many thank you.

Additional info:
-pickup truck involved is rental car from company.
-fren involved is currently on over sea business trip for 6 months

Currently my fren(a fresh grad) has 2 offer from both AIG and Great Eastern as Claim officer. May I know the working environment and benefit for both companies. Which is better? Which company working hour is longer? Which company has better prospect. If not mistaken US Federal has set out a huge sum of money as rescue package for AIG, so scared got anything will happen to the employees......

Hi all, I got a call from PBB for interview, IT related job(forgotten the title) next Friday at Menara PBB. I'm in my final sem, but they still wanna call for an interview.
1. Anyone working in PBB is in IT field? What actually is the job scope? Is it hectic?
2. How to get to Menara PBB by public transport? The nearest LRT station is KLCC?

If possible those working in PBB IT job, plz provide more info on the job scope and environment. Thanks......

Sentra B14 price

Hi all. I found a white sentra b14, year 96, 15k.
I've viewed the car myself, but since not pro in it, so dilemma now.
Condition :

White color, so definitely not nice already.
Back bumper a bit kemek.
Left side rear door a bit kemek.
Front no accident.
Interior standard, parts ori.
Aircon ok.
Clocked 208k km.
Seller says no problem with engine and gearbox.
Engine running sound not noisy.

So how ah?? wat else i need to inspect, or need to service if i get this car? worth?
Heard that nissan b14 is problematic than corolla seg, true or not?

corolla seg 94 vs sentra 97

Hi all. Me again. Been searching around for 2nd hand cars and found out this two choices.

The prices between corolla seg 94 and sentra 97 is almost the same.
So may i know which one is better in terms of

1. maintenance
2. FC
3. power

For me power is not the main issue as I'm not a heavy footed person. I just wan a reliable car.
The sentra is quite new, which is around 10yrs old car, good bargain, but if FC and maintenance high, i die lah.....
So hope to get some opinions here, thanks.

I got 2 yrs experience in Electronic Engineering. Now got 2 offer :

1. Project Engineer. Doing scada, plc and site commisioning.
Basic under probation : RM2500
After probation : Rm2700, plus RM500 allowance. If travel got petrol allowance, meal and overnight allowance.

2. Hardware engineer, do circuit design, RTOS, firmware.
Basic under probation : RM 3300
After probation : RM3500

My current salary in 3k.

If u were me, how to choose??
Both also interested.

2nd hand cars suggestions

Hi all. I plan to get one 2nd car. budget <25k. I need a reliable car as i need to travel quite alot to customer site. Sometimes to penang, sometimes to johor........
I've ask some foreman's opinion, they suggest me to get a toyota corolla, ae101 or ae111, yr 93-96.
They said its reliable, less maintenance etc..........
I really dunno about it as a 25k budget can get kenari, kelisa, wira, waja, atos.......
I'm afraid that after i get a 15 yr old toyota, our great m'sia government will launch the policy, said that cars more than 15 or 20 yrs needed to be scrapped, then I'm doomed...........

So any suggestions?

Hi all. Just wanna ask opinion, especially those HR ppl.
Normally after an interview, we will be given a period of 2weeks to wait the results.
And most of time, we wont receive call or reply after 2 weeks time.
So actually should we email the HR or the person in charge to check for out status?
I think mayb the HR of the manager does not like us to urge them.
What do u think?

Project Engineer (prospect)

Hi all. I'm actually an electronic engineer, been in this field for like 2 yrs. The job scope is like hardaware programming which involves microcontrollers etc.....

The thing is I intend to change to a different field now, which is a Project engineer (automation). I think the job scope is PLC programming, project management and deal with customers.

I'm still think of whether wanna switch job or not. if i change to automation field, my salary will drop, but if after probation plus the petrol, travel, HP allowances, defintely more than wat I'm earning now.

I dun acutually know the prospect of this field, like how's the career path of it.
For ex: if I'm doing embedded in a small company, like mayb after 3 yrs, i jump to another to become senior. Then when i wan a more stable life, I'll jump to those bigger MNC like WD, freescale, panasonic, Sony etc.....They do have embedded engineers as well.

but in terms of a project engineer, since i dun have experience in it, so may someone in this field comment about it.
