degree in graphic design?

i hv finish my diploma at graphic design,
going 2 continue study degree at utar, due 2 my financial problem it is my only choice.
im scrare tat i will regret study there as most of the syllibus i had study and i need 2 retake & it take 2 years long.
im not so sure r de lecture, quality and enviroment good?
Is diploma enough if I am planning to work in private sector in the future? Is it competitive enough for me to be successful in the industry of graphic design?

i have search 4 mny university n coll,none of them offer local degree program in graphic design,only can take it at overseas.
is degree important 4 my future,so tat i can get a better job,but most of yje ppl say is not important as the boss usually look at ur profolio not certificate
